16/03/2025: Located at the foot of the village of Guardia Sanframondi, at the base of the medieval walls, the "il Platano" restaurant has kept its culinary style, the quality of the ingredients and the goodness of its dishes intact over the years. Among the starters, I recommend the farmer's soup and the bruschetta, especially the one with colonnata lard. Worth noting is the use of Castelpoto sausage, both as a condiment for first courses and pizza (delicious!), and as a second course, topped with potatoes and broccoli. The desserts are delicious, produced by a skilled local pastry chef, in particular the reworking of the sacher and the chocolate and black cherry tart, savored with an excellent chinotto and bergamot bitters. 05/05/2025: Passing through a tournament in Benevento. Hotel in a nice location. Beautiful exterior with ample parking. Clean and large rooms. Abundant and very good breakfast. Courtesy and attention to the customer. It's true, it may not be a brand new hotel, but everything that needs to be there is there and in my opinion customer attention is much more important than a minibar or a higher and lower pillow. 25/11/2024: I give 2 stars with great regret because the owner is kind and welcoming Unfortunately, however, I have to report that I spent 70 euros and then had to go home to make myself a plate of pasta. The only thing worthy of 4 stars are the cheeses and cold cuts, otherwise truly disappointing The thing that bothered me the most was that my daughter remained completely unfed 3 seconds after we arrived they brought the little girl a plate of tomato pasta which was very obviously taken from the fridge and not even heated well because it was still very cold when they brought it. As soon as my daughter tasted it she asked me to try it and it was truly inedible. When we called the waitress she said now we'll heat it up a little more when she brought it back the tomato was even more atrophied and we sent it back saying to leave it alone. After another 5 seconds, a slice of bread arrives, fried 4/5 hours earlier if not the day before and reheated with always warmed fried potatoes For us, after a decent appetizer, an encore of first courses with a lasagna made 3 days before and reheated and some paccheri that we couldn't understand what sauce they were mixed with the day they were made, in fact these were also reheated For the second course, dried pork loin without a minimum of seasoning, a disaster, even the desserts, we didn't eat those either. The waiters asked us why and we specified everything despite the fact that we paid in full and that's fine..he will never see us again....which most probably the others also do. A place where we come once and never come back again.

Sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita per l'assortimento delle alternative senza glutine e la cura che hanno riservato anche a me che sono celiaca. Ambiente familiare e personale molto cordiale. However, the prices are quite high for what is offered: the proposals are average and not particularly original compared to other pubs in the area. It wasn't an entirely bad experience, but we would have expected something more.

09/03/2025: A point of reference in Benevento for those looking for a pub. Small and warm place, the guys are nice and efficient. The menu is small but with well-chosen and original dishes. Most of the fried foods are made by them (which is now difficult in pubs). Well done guys count like this

06/05/2025: I am now a regular customer, especially for takeaway, but there is no shortage of occasions when, with some friends, we decide to book a table. The place is small but welcoming, and every time I really feel at home, among friends. My favorite? Without a doubt the familiar max: light, well-leavened, digestible dough... in short, a real pleasure that doesn't weigh you down. Highly recommended, both for a quiet evening and for a quick dinner to take home!

L'atmosfera è accogliente e familiare, perfetta per una serata con amici o in famiglia. Consiglio vivamente di provare la pizza speciale della casa, è una vera delizia! Tornerò sicuramente!"

12/05/2025: We were there for Mother's Day, but absolutely not recommended! The owner is also nice, she goes between the tables, sings well but at this point it's better that she dedicates herself to the entertainment since the food is terrible and of poor quality! The portions are miserable, starting with the appetizers, in addition to being tasteless. As for first courses, instead, trofie with an unidentified sauce of walnuts and speck (speck and walnuts did not arrive), but edible and cannelloni, or rather cannellini, since they were the thickness of a cigar (and not even Cuban, but pezzotto). As for second course, a slice of Caserta pork, which was imaginable because only fat, and three (I repeat three) ultra-thin (almost transparent) potato sheets.
