30/07/2024: The location is nice in the village of San Marco dei Cavoti, we had dinner outside but it was a little cool even though it was 30 degrees in the city. Top food 🔝, highly sought after and of high quality. Service? The boy was alone so we waited a bit but he made it up to us by offering us a taste of cured meats. I want to express one negativity, being an inn I would have expected slightly more generous dishes. Price: right.

Welcoming place, very kind staff and sublime food.....the caciocavallo pudding is recommended....prices in line with the quality of the food

04/07/2024: Ho avuto il piacere il 16giugno di quest'anno di essere stata insieme alla mia famiglia in questo splendido ristorante per festeggiare la comunione di mio figlio Kevin. In primis voglio fare i complimenti al signor Gianni Liccardi persona squisita. Sempre disponibile. Poche persone come lui... Al personale tutto per essere stati super accoglienti e per ultimo non per importanza faccio i miei complimenti allo chef e al suo staff per l'ottimo cibo... Consiglio a tutti almeno una volta di visitare questo posto bellissimo.voto 10+

01/07/2024: Structure in the heart of the countryside in the midst of greenery.... family management, very helpful people at the service, starting with the owner. The food was excellent and genuine, an infinite number of starters arrived... as a first course he recommended very tasty paccheri with courgettes and bacon, a trio of meat with side potatoes and salad, fruit salad and dessert, finally bitter white and red wine, limoncello and grappa with bottles at the table. All €25 to return.

05/06/2024: Simple, slightly dated environment, designed for banquets and group lunches. The portions are generous but the cooking is poorly prepared. I saw better fish dishes but I didn't taste them. Essential service. Honest cost.

20/08/2024: I don't know if I will be able to give Cascina a second chance. I was disappointed with the hospitality at lunch. We were placed under a sunny porch where there was no air. We had been informed of this, but with the promise of a "penguin" and ventilators. There were no fans and the penguin was completely inadequate. I don't know how many liters of water we drank to hydrate. The suffering lasted throughout lunch. (Given the time it was impossible to leave and try somewhere else!). And let's get to lunch. The starter, just enough for everyone, was of good quality, but within the norm. Nothing exceptional. The first courses offered in huge plates, almost as if we were in a gourmet restaurant, are not at all unforgettable. The first one is banal (ragout with sausage), the second one is tasteless (maybe courgette cream?). The second shameful. A sausage and a small piece of meat (pork fillet?), both raw. When asked to have them cooked more, they returned to the way they were before. Almost none of us ate the second course. The side dish consisted of 3/4 pieces of baked potato. The dessert, served together with the fruit was a small piece of tiramisu. The fruit a very thin slice of watermelon each. Nothing more. The service was supported by a single waiter (helpful, patient and kind) for all customers. Given our complaints about the heat and the second course we would have expected an apology from the owner and perhaps attention to the bill. None of this. The lady only popped in when we were all up and leaving. The bill, for the FIXED menu, was €40 per person. Can you recommend such a place with such treatment and behavior?

19/05/2024: The enchanting place, the dishes are very expensive and genuine and the lady is truly available for every need

11/08/2024: Vinalia '24, August 10. After queuing for almost an hour, in the midst of total chaos, to have the cuzzitiello with meatballs in sauce, we arrive at the checkout and are told that there is nothing left... everything is finished. Last day of the festival, maybe it's a shame it was 9.50pm (clock checked at the moment for safety!)... I find it inconceivable, also because no employee was sent to warn those in line or to remove the various posters which boasted a close-up photo of the smoking Cuzzitiello. What remained, apart from water and wine, were the fried foods... served completely cold: the chicken bandidos and the potato rosti were certainly frozen products and the potato croquette had mozzarella which had by now gone bad and tasted of acid. Truly uncommentable service and absurd situation!!

11/08/2024: I'm sorry to have to give a negative review as I haven't been inside but in my opinion a restaurant that serves a "vinalia" event cannot afford to serve frozen food (in my opinion also of poor quality). The serious thing was that after 40 minutes of queuing with lots of advertising, we arrived at the cash register and they no longer had even half of the menu. Just some fried food. The highlights, namely Cuzzetiello and fried cod, were finished already at 10pm. Carbonara omelette finished and honestly also other things that I can't remember now. That is, I "had" to eat four fries crosswise due to HUNGRY after a long queue. Not good croquettes (sour mozzarella inside). Good Bandidos. Potato rosty not bad, you could taste the frying a lot. I repeat, from a restaurant I expect a lot more quality and organization and above all not to be made fun of. However these 3 things + bottle of water €11 Bandidos portion 1 croquette 1 roast 1 bottle of water. You pay a lot less at the pub!
