15/12/2024: My son celebrated his 15th birthday here. Unique staff, always attentive and kind. The pizzas are a delicacy that I highly recommend. Fresh products and family management attentive to everything that can satisfy the customer. I recommend everyone to spend an evening here... But also for lunch I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

10/02/2025: Helped by TripAdvisor, my husband and I decided to try this inn. We were greeted by a nice and affable young lady, even though we hadn't booked, she made us sit at a table. He explained to us the menu made up of simple but revisited dishes, close to the local tradition, but really good. Excellent service, quick and without frills, but with a lot of friendliness and kindness. Excellent dishes and absolutely fair and affordable prices. They change the menu every week, but if you happen upon the pasta with aubergine ragout and salted ricotta, take it without thinking twice. We recommend this inn to anyone who wants to eat well and have a lot of friendliness in return. Thank you for the wonderful experience, if we return to Benevento, the Locanda Scialapopolo will certainly be our stop. Ad maiora

02/02/2025: Lo chef Angelo d'Amico ha portato una cucina di alto livello nell'entroterra di Solopaca. La location esterna è sicuramente da migliorare, basterebbe poco perché la visuale della valle telesina e dei monti circostanti è davvero spettacolare. Una voltra entrati si è avvolti in un'atmosfera elegante e curata in ogni dettaglio, con personale preparato e cortese. Abbiamo pranzato ieri nella veranda del locale, quindi luminosissima e con vista sul promontorio circostante. Provati due dei tre menù degustazione, il cavallo di battaglia ovvero Radici e poi dall'orto al parco del Taburno. Entrambi ricercatissimi e curati sia nella presentazione sia nel gusto. L'uovo croccante con tartufo e bufala è spettacolare, per niente scontato e sicuramente di non facile preparazione. Delicato nonostante gli ingredienti. Il risotto al blu di capra è qualcosa di eccezionale, un'esplosione di sapori sapientemente amalgamati. Gli altri piatti davvero eccellenti. Dell'altro menù una menzione va al carciofo cotto in un modo fuori dal comune, con soli ingredienti vegetali. I dolci sono davvero molto buoni e sono accompagnati dalla piccola pasticceria creata sapientemente. Carta dei vini all'altezza della cucina, il maitré super esperto sugli abbinamenti. I prezzi sono totalmente in linea con il livello delle proposte. Non sindiscute sulla ricercatezza dei piatti e sulla loro preparazione, faccio davvero i complimenti allo chef. Avanti così, ci rivediamo presto!!

17/01/2025: Very nice and clean place. We had the 4-course tasting as a gift to which we added the tasting of wines by the glass. We were very satisfied and also had fun. Excellent tagliatelle with generous portions of guinea fowl and turnips. The meat had an excellent flavor and was cooked impeccably, we also liked the desserts divided into 3 courses. Nice experience.

16/12/2024: Sono stato insieme a mia moglie in questo ristorante per festeggiare il nostro anniversario di matrimonio. La location è bella, luminosa,pulita, essenziale. Il personale di sala è all’altezza di un due stelle, giovani, educati, preparati e molto svegli ed accorti, in particolare il giovane Gabriele ( bravissimo) ed lo chef de rang Alfredo, molto attento e preparato sui vini. Il cibo, le portate , mi piace menzionare la cosiddetta “ merenna” oppure la pastina con il formaggino, per citarne solo alcune, sono uno spettacolo, un’esplosione di sapori, un’avventura culinaria da non perdere, e da vivere fino all’ultima portata.Che dire dei dolci…senza parole…. Un vero spettacolo visivo e gustativo! L’unica pecca? Non aver potuto conoscere lo chef proprietario Iannotti!! Chapeau!!! A pesto

09/02/2025: A fixed point in your Saturday shopping, historic bakery in the Telesina Valley which offers many products, from sweet to savory, from taralli to various types of bread. Excellent people, capable, hard workers. What to recommend? Everything, in particular the bread with yellow flour (reserve it if you need it), the taralli and the pizza by the slice. And don't worry if there is a few minutes to wait for the many customers, if there are, it means that the products are good, continuously prepared and always fresh.

26/01/2025: Last night I went to this pizzeria with some friends and it was a really bad experience, not to be recommended to anyone. As soon as we arrived, the waitresses rushed us right away: they asked us to order as soon as they took the menu and, even though we said we needed more time, they came back every 30 seconds insisting, for at least 10 minutes. We were practically forced to choose a pizza quickly to avoid further pressure. When the pizza arrived, one of us went to the bathroom, and we noticed the waitresses pointing to the empty seat and laughing as they talked to each other. This behavior was really rude and unprofessional. Furthermore, in front of the customers they fixed their hair using gel with their hands with which they then carried the dishes. Hygiene was completely absent: the bathroom was dirty, with a cleaner in pitiful condition. The staff were rude throughout the evening, making jokes like "good thing you were hungry" and clearly making fun of us. On social media the place seems perfect, but the reality is very different. I absolutely do not recommend this pizzeria: zero hygiene, rude staff and an experience to forget. Final conclusions RESTAURANT DIRTY ZERO CLEANING IT SMELLS IN THE ROOM RUDE WAITER RUDENESS It feels like a place for problematic people

25/01/2025: esperienza terribile…personale scortese al massimo e per niente professionale. le cameriere per tutta la serata ci hanno prese in giro facendo battute inopportune e facendoci sentire a disagio…per poco non ce ne siamo andate. zero accortezza per quanto riguarda pulizia e igiene, la cameriera continuava ad aggiustarsi i capelli in sala e per non parlare dello chef che mi ha servito la pizza senza glutine con gli stessi guanti con i quali ha servito le altre pizze. Non lo consiglierei a nessuno, esperienza pessima…nonostante sia una delle poche pizzerie a proporre il gluten-free non ci tornerò più.
