10/11/2025: Wonderful location. The restaurant is on a hill filled with olive trees. The terrace offers a stunning view. We dined in the winter, but I think it's at its best in the summer.
We chose the "Radici" tasting menu for €65 per person.
The delicious entrée perfectly captures the flavors of what you'll be eating. The chips with zucchini scapece are a delicacy.
The crispy egg is the chef's signature dish; perfectly cooked, the mix of textures makes the dish fabulous.
The pumpkin risotto was truly delicious; the licorice adds a touch unique to this dish.
The manzetta (beef stew) is the dish that, in my opinion, surpassed the crispy egg: the meat melted in the mouth, and the vegetables and cardoncelli mushrooms had an authentic flavor.
Latte, caffè e sambuca is an excellent dessert, as is the small pastry. The cream puff with Chantilly cream was a bit disappointing because of the unbalanced proportions and the dryness. The delicate cream didn't help the flavor.
A top-notch service.

13/11/2025: Here you're not going to the usual restaurant to take photos or post on Instagram. Here you're going to Alfonso's home, where he will welcome and pamper you the entire time.
You'll find traditional, humble but delicious dishes and excellent wine.
The service is excellent.
Excellent value for money.
10/11/2025: I couldn't have asked for anything better: an excellent traditional lunch, excellent value for money, and attentive and warm staff. I'd say having lunch there is almost a must if you're in Benevento. Highly recommended.

02/11/2025: Hiking with friends. We stopped for lunch. One of the hikers had lunch there years ago and had fond memories of it. The food was excellent. Traditional cuisine, a pleasure to rediscover. Friendly staff.

We had a really good time.
02/11/2025: A very charming location, probably an old stable or warehouse of the castle.
It's also tastefully and elegantly furnished.
A vast and varied selection of wines and spirits is on display.
The cuisine is excellent, with excellent value. However, the desserts and treats are a bit pricey.
Regarding the service, we were captivated by the skill of the owners' 11-year-old daughter.
A few small flaws in general:
The bathrooms didn't have toilet paper or napkins to dry your hands;
The glass was stained with lipstick;
It would always be better to offer free liqueurs and coffee.
Given the weather, we dived into the mushroom, pumpkin, and meat dishes...but we'll definitely be back, to try the seafood.

We went to Benevento Poké with my girlfriend and two other couples, and we were all thrilled! The ingredients are incredibly fresh, the fish is exceptionally high-quality. The poké is delicious, but the rolls—both raw and cooked—are also spectacular.
We also had the spring rolls (crispy and flavorful) and the Japanese ravioli, truly delicious.
The variety of beers is incredible, and the desserts are truly worth it.
A special thanks to Gennaro, the owner: incredibly kind, extremely knowledgeable, and knows a thing or two. You can tell he puts passion into everything he does.
Congratulations! A place to return time and time again!
13/09/2025: We discovered this poke place in Benevento almost by accident, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise: we sat in the outdoor garden, and a staff member explained how to order poke ourselves. The wait was practically instant; the eggroll appetizer arrived in just a few minutes, and after a few more minutes, the poke arrived. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the quality of the products is visibly fresh. The wide variety of ingredients allows you to create your own bowl to suit your tastes, but for those who prefer, there's also the option of choosing from pre-designed and balanced poke dishes. The collaboration with the nearby pizzeria is also interesting and original, allowing you to create exclusive combinations with local products, making the experience even more unique. The location is easy to reach and parking is easy. Overall, a place that combines quality, speed, and creativity. Highly recommended!

15/10/2025: Unparalleled rudeness, arrogance, and arrogance. The manager needs to learn humility and understand that people pay for service. You can't ask how the food is and then complain if the pasta is bland or the fettuccine with wild boar doesn't taste like wild boar! These people aren't worthy of working in the restaurant business and deserve to close down.

30/09/2025: The restaurant, located in a beautiful panoramic position, is somewhat difficult to reach due to both the lack of signage and the final stretch of steep, unpaved road. Access from the parking lot below is a bit neglected due to overgrown weeds, but the interior and terrace are well-maintained. Two menus are offered for €45, excluding service, water, and soft drinks. The dishes are pleasant, except for a few that seem a bit disjointed. I point out to the waitress that my main course is missing porcini mushrooms, listed on the menu as a side dish. She tells me that the chef apologizes for forgetting them, but he won't bring them, since I haven't eaten dessert yet. Nor is there any sign of thoughtfulness on the bill apologizing for the omission. For family reasons, I often frequent restaurants in Emilia and Tuscany, where they go out of their way to make guests feel welcome, unlike in our area, where one often feels almost tolerated.
In conclusion, a decent experience, but I wouldn't go back.

28/09/2025: If you come for lunch, ask for two baskets of bread right away, because by the time the first one arrives, it'll be dinner time. Terrible service, extremely long waits, and since it's a crowded and very touristy place, they need more staff.
