I was honestly disappointed because the first courses were good but nothing special, as the pasta was fresh but certainly not homemade. The second courses were disappointing: salty fish and sinewy meat that was difficult to cut, even though it tasted good. Unfortunately, we weren't entirely satisfied. The prices were fair.

26/06/2026: A fantastic experience at this restaurant. We ordered several courses and were impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the presentation. The mushroom rice was perfectly prepared, and the meat with arugula and cheese shavings also won over everyone at the table. The pizza served on a wooden board was a wonderful surprise, crispy and flavorful. We will definitely be back to try other specialties.

21/06/2026: Today, my wife and I went for lunch for the first time. The appetizer and first course were of decent quality, but I didn't like the fried food because it was of poor quality, with an unpleasant aftertaste and too much frying oil residue. The price was a bit steep. I don't think I'll go to this restaurant again.

21/06/2026: I've been coming to this place for years and I've always eaten very well, but today I was honestly disappointed by one thing: I ordered classic ravioli with tomato sauce for my mum because she doesn't eat fish, but I got 5/6 tortelli filled with cherry tomatoes and paid 18 euros... practically the price of a seafood first course.

16/08/2026: It's always a pleasure to return to Angelo D'Amico's restaurant. He's a highly experienced chef, yet young, offering excellent food and proven cooking techniques. No strange fine dining influences, but rather a grounded approach to local cuisine. Refined and light. Bravo Clean dining room and courteous service. Excellent wine list with reasonable markups. Like the final bill, it makes you want to return as soon as possible. Following my previous review. Excellent restaurant, with a wide selection of dishes, both in the various tasting menus and à la carte. Here, local cuisine is served in a modern way, free from the unnecessary and counterproductive influences so popular today in so-called fine dining restaurants that are creating such a distance between themselves and their customers in favor of a certain press with no history and only seeking special effects. No, here the exceptional quality of the food is respected and enhanced by the chef's technique. On the menu, you'll find truffle eggs, authentic Laticauda lamb, free-range chicken, as well as red prawns with asparagus, homemade pasta and bread, an extraordinary olive oil, and, as mentioned, many other quality dishes. The wine list follows the same approach, offering a wide selection of local and international dishes, presented with professionalism and expertise, as does the service. The inn that houses the restaurant is beautiful and can be reached after a pleasant walk. The bill only confirms the integrity of this restaurant, which, in my opinion, is a true excellence in Campania and beyond.

21/07/2026: I was lucky enough to get to know this place on the occasion of my brother's wedding, given that it was a scorching hot day, I can say that I spent an unforgettable day, the dishes prepared with ingredients and raw materials of the highest quality, accompanied by excellent wine, the attention to detail and attention to each individual guest were the masters, furthermore my brother and sister-in-law planned an aperitif at sunset for friends, there too we tasted some delicious things, prepared at the moment after such an important lunch.. I would have a lot more to write, but I just say thank you to the owner and the staff for having made us take a culinary and sensorial journey, I would almost say 🤗

To say the facility is impeccable would be an understatement: everything is meticulously cared for, with extraordinary cleanliness evident in every corner. The real added value of this place, however, are the owners. Roberta and Renato are two truly exquisite people, with rare kindness and hospitality. From the first moment, they made us feel at home, pampered and loved, with a helpfulness that goes far beyond mere professionalism. The resort is located in an extremely peaceful and beautiful location, ideal for those seeking relaxation, peace, and a regenerating atmosphere away from the chaos. 27/06/2026: We had an excellent stay! We visited from Mexico and were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The house is beautiful, the rooms and bathrooms are amazing, everything looks new, clean, and very well maintained. The owner and her husband were very attentive and kind to us at all times, making us feel very welcome. The area where it's located is very beautiful, quiet, and has a very pleasant climate. We slept very well and rested perfectly. They also prepared dinner for us, and it was incredible; breakfast was also very good. It was definitely a very pleasant experience, and we highly recommend it.

21/08/2026: Yesterday, August 20, 2026, while touring Benevento with my family, four of us stumbled upon Trattoria Il Cinghiale almost by chance. It's a small place, seating just 18, but its very size makes it even more charming, welcoming, and special. I have to be honest: I'm someone who often notices small flaws and tends to criticize, not out of malice, but because I always think there's something that could be improved. This time, however, I'm really struggling to find anything to criticize. The owner was simply excellent: he welcomes you, serves you, and above all, he tells you about what he brings to the table. And that's something I really appreciated. There's something rare here: what you eat truly comes from their hands. They have products that they grow and prepare themselves; in the morning they make fresh pasta, like fettuccine, and they cook using what they produce. You can taste and see it in the dishes. I ate the pappardelle with wild boar that literally left me speechless. Then a wild boar steak, wild boar sausages, and their other specialties. All excellent, truly excellent. And can we talk about the little details? At the table, they even bring you two different types of cheese to grate. It may seem like a small thing, but it's precisely these details that make you understand how much care goes into what's served. What struck me most, however, is that they don't just have excellent products: they tell you about them. They let you know the product, its history, the work that goes into it. And when the person cooking is also the producer and truly knows what they're bringing to the table, the difference is noticeable. I was truly fascinated by this little trattoria. It was a chance discovery that turned into a wonderful family experience. I truly congratulate the owner and all his hard work. If I can give one piece of advice, it's just one: don't change. Keep going, because you're a winner the way you are. I hope to return to Benevento soon, because one thing is certain: I want to return to Trattoria Il Cinghiale. Congratulations indeed. Excellent food, cooked with love and everything made fresh, using top-quality, locally sourced ingredients. The flavor of home-cooked dishes for the family made us feel pampered. Mr. Antonio, an exceptional chef, and his wife, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their presentation of the dishes, using their excellent ingredients, conveys all their love for cooking.
