07/06/2026: A truly beautiful location with a view that can also be admired from inside the dining room thanks to the large windows. We'd been there a few years ago and loved it, and this time we loved it even more. We chose the "Roots between the Earth and the Sea" tasting, replacing one of the appetizers with the crispy egg, buffalo mozzarella, and black truffle, a memory of a previous experience. A savory and well-balanced dish. The "veal with cocoa, potatoes, capers, and camaiola reduction" also served as an appetizer. This veal carpaccio was covered with vegetables, followed by a layer of sauce and finally a dusting of cocoa. A few doubts at the first bite, but gradually the dish became more and more convincing. The "mescafrancesca in seafood soup, peas, and ginger" is a top dish worth returning to. Deceptively simple, it's perfect in its quantity, the distinct flavors, and the desire to eat more despite the substantial portion. The classic swordfish with almonds, green river chilies, and pink garlic. Here, it's the small additions to the perfectly cooked fish that make the difference. We finished on a high note with the most popular dish, along with the soup: I was about to ask to replace the "strawberry and lemon fior di latte" with another dessert. I'm a fan of mozzarella, but fortunately I didn't. The dessert was delicate and delicious. We paired the tasting with wines, and a "bravo" goes to Giuseppe for a truly excellent and unconventional selection. The service was good. The quality/price ratio was good. This time we'll be back after much less time.

Eating with them isn't just about filling up... it's a true food and wine journey, delighting all five senses. The view from their inn is 360 degrees. Highly recommended.

06/04/2026: We went to Tenuta del Ghebbio for lunch on Easter Monday. The location is beautiful and very welcoming. Much of the structure has remained original. It's well-preserved, despite being renovated. The rooms are very well-maintained and beautifully furnished. The cellar, although small, retains all its originality, carved out of stone and tuff. The food was very good and well-prepared. The staff was very professional and friendly. The outdoor garden and pool were well-kept. The manager was very professional and friendly with guests. Everything was very welcoming, both in terms of the structure and the food. This hotel is worth trying in the future. An experience worth repeating.

We visited this restaurant for lunch with a fairly large group, and despite the logistical challenges that large numbers often pose, the experience was truly remarkable and flawless. From the very beginning with the appetizers, it was clear to all diners that quality would be the guiding principle of the entire day: a riot of authentic flavors, capable of awakening the senses and whetting the appetite with a variety of never-ending offerings. The culinary journey continued with a crescendo of satisfaction thanks to dishes featuring the freshest fish, cooked with respect for the delicate flavors of the sea, and first courses that proved to be true delights for the palate. Each course was prepared with evident mastery, the fruit of a passion that exudes from every single ingredient, rigorously authentic and well-balanced. The kitchen and dining room staff's ability to seamlessly manage such a large group, ensuring the dishes arrived promptly and consistently high quality across every dish, is an added value that deserves special praise. The atmosphere at the osteria is welcoming and warm, making our lunch a perfect convivial occasion, where conversation flowed freely between tastings in a totally relaxed atmosphere. It's rare to find such a solid balance between culinary excellence and efficient, attentive service, capable of making every guest feel unique. We highly recommend this osteria to anyone seeking an authentic, traditional gastronomic experience, where good food and attentive service are truly at home. 19/04/2026: Amazing sandwiches, truly high-quality ingredients and excellent craftsmanship. Good selection of beers. Very friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere, although the acoustics aren't always the best. Order processing could be a bit faster...but it remains one of the best places to get an excellent sandwich in Benevento, right next to the splendid ruins of the Roman amphitheater.

02/06/2026: I discovered it by chance on Google Maps while looking for a place to have lunch while traveling. The gentleman in the dining room was truly kind and knowledgeable in his service and descriptions of the dishes, which were truly excellent. It's the perfect balance between traditional cuisine and gourmet cuisine that experiments and succeeds well, without overdoing it. The price reported by the Google average is incorrect because it doesn't match the prices on the menu, and I find it hard to imagine that many people limit themselves to appetizers (which alone cost around €20). Overall, the prices are in line with other restaurants of this type, so the quality-price ratio is fair, considering that some of the dishes require fairly elaborate preparation. However, I only realized after paying, upon leaving the restaurant, that the side dish was charged incorrectly, as I had been told it was included with one of the two main courses, but I may have misunderstood what was stated when ordering. In conclusion, a truly positive experience!

18/04/2026: I think it's practically impossible to write a negative review about this place. I've been coming here about every three or four months now and have never encountered anything less than impeccable service. Starting with the owner, who is incredibly kind and polite, the place is small, very quiet, and exudes a truly serene atmosphere. ALL the food is excellent and locally sourced. The pasta is made fresh that morning and all the dishes are cooked to order. The antipasto is exceptional; I probably ate the best salami I've ever eaten. The value for money is excellent, in fact, at times even too low for the experience. (The non-alcoholic entrée is a little gem, original and well-crafted.)

26/05/2026: Found through a trustworthy word of mouth, and they weren't lying. Excellent food, friendly and welcoming, and a constant but discreet presence from all the staff. They recommend local produce without pushing you too far. What can I say? Excellent overall, and oh yes, the price is also great! I can only recommend it! It's right in the historic center, you can't go wrong!

I must say we ate really well. Friendly staff And fair prices. I was satisfied and will gladly return. ❤️😘☀️
