Excellent restaurant just a few kilometers from Benevento. Really good value for money. Fast service. The only drawback is that there's almost no parking.

We had lunch and ordered one of the set menus. The ambiance, quality, and quantity of food were adequate for the offerings. Excellent service, courtesy of polite and friendly young people. We'll be back to try the steak.

17/08/2026: A positive experience, a beautiful and delicious place! Prices are a bit high for the restaurants in the area, but the portions are justified... decidedly generous!
13/08/2026: I had lunch at C’era Una Volta during my stay in Pietrelcina and had a great time. We had two starters: fusilli with ragù and pasta panzerotti with porcini mushrooms, both very good, well-prepared, and generous portions. The owner was hospitable and kind. The atmosphere is welcoming, rustic, and quaint, in keeping with the town's atmosphere. A pleasant experience, definitely a place I recommend for a quiet, authentic lunch in Pietrelcina.

Ristorante Il Posto

26/07/2026: I must admit we entered a little wary. But as soon as we sat down, we met the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The gnocchi and braised beef are truly top-notch. The desserts are delicious.
