We booked last minute, and he immediately reassured us that he'd find a place for two. The owner was incredibly friendly, making us feel at ease right away, providing me with a charger for my cell phone, and even giving all the ladies a free "Rossana" candy as we left! We'll be back!

For a family member's surgery, we found ourselves coming to this little corner of paradise near the Fatebenefratelli Hospital. Aside from the friendly service and the welcoming location, like a blast from the past, the cuisine is spectacular. We had the parmigiana split in two and two first courses: pasta and chickpeas and pasta with Benevento ragu. Compliments to the dining room and kitchen, but especially to Antonella and her family. True dining still exists. Thank you so much.

The Genovese is good, as is the lardiata, the fried cutlet with tasty parmigiana, and the lamb rolls are well-executed, but perhaps two for a €16 plate is a bit paltry. The wine isn't suitable for an osteria, which should favor finer wines given its regional origins.

We had dinner and it was a wonderful experience, both in terms of food and service. The atmosphere was family-friendly, and Alfonso was very kind, helpful, and charming. The food was excellent and well-prepared. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try traditional Benevento dishes. Seating is limited, so reservations are recommended.

07/04/2026: I was there a few days ago with my partner. The restaurant is truly elegant, and the dining room staff is courteous and knowledgeable. There are plenty of tables. The dishes are flavorful and the portions are generous. I really enjoyed the Genovese steak, the pork loin, and the vegetable buffet. The wine list is short but thoughtful, with a focus on local produce. Our dogs were welcomed.
