23/08/2025: Since it was my first time eating there, the pizza was good and the place was also excellent.
14/08/2025: Horrible pizza, overcooked, crusty dough, and the best version with practically no mozzarella, with a tiny morsel per slice, practically all sauce, even a sour taste. Extremely long wait and service that leaves much to be desired; they don't even know what happens to the orders...

27/10/2025: The service was very friendly, and the rooms were in very good condition, considering Italian and southern Italy conditions. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the hostess baked a chocolate cake herself, which was fresh and delicious. There's a chapel nearby. I highly recommend it.
01/09/2025: Nestled in the green Serino Mountains near Mount Terminio. A beautiful place to visit. The property is unfortunately neglected and in need of renovation. The staff is not at all welcoming; they don't even smile when you pay...

17/05/2026: We went to Pizzeria Del Borgo, near the Avellino railway station, and we can say without a doubt that it was a wonderful discovery 🍕👏 The pizza was truly delicious, with a light dough and excellent quality ingredients. The sausage and fries deserves a special mention for the quantity of exceptional fries 😋 The fried croquettes made by them were also excellent, as were the tasty and well-prepared arancini. Also noteworthy is the Margherita, made to perfection... we get an A+ for it 🔝 Congratulations for the quality and taste. We'll definitely be back 🍕💛

20/01/2026: The setting is an L-shaped space, with a café on one side along the main road (in fact, the bill you'll see says "Caffè del Corso"), and a Trattoria Nuscana on the other, facing the main square. Each has its own entrance and exit. That said, we've dined here several times, before it changed hands several times. Under this latest management, we've dined there three times in recent years for "Notti dei Bonfire" (bonfire nights). This time, we chose the €20 menu, which included a limited first course, a limited second course, and a small bottle of mineral water or a small glass of red wine. We chose tagliatelle with mushrooms and sausages and pasta with potatoes and provola cheese, followed by pezzente with ragù, and small bottles of water. We had Aglianico with us. The waiter, with a Lazio accent, was very kind; we were the only ones dining, so we didn't have to wait long for our dishes to arrive. The restaurant is basic, without frills. The bill includes service, bread, and a cover charge. The portions, as the photos show, aren't generous. We suggest including a dessert and/or liqueur in the €20 menu to keep up with competitors offering similar fare and to stay ahead of the market.

It's a shame they produce and sell expensive panettone filled with additives and preservatives, chemicals (although legal) such as emulsifiers, etc., without replacing them with natural ingredients. They're on par with commercial ones. Just look at the labels.

14/10/2025: Every time I go there, it's AT LEAST 30 minutes late, EVEN if you ordered hours in advance... the other time I was left waiting 2 hours late!!! The pizzas were also wrong. The pizza maker is never in a rush and never starts making them on time. He, on the other hand, waits until you arrive and then calmly starts making them after he's finished talking to his friends... You order today, you eat tomorrow.
14/10/2025: The service is nerve-wracking. After ordering over the phone at a specific time, it seems like they take the order and crumple it up to feed the wood-fired oven. Only when you show up at the time the pizza should be ready do they start preparing it. If you're lucky, they leave in 10 minutes... with a final delay of at least half an hour on normal days, and a full hour on weekends. Don't you dare order delivery unless you have two hours to spare to wait (and reflect). The delivery guy moves slowly: the delivery time is longer than training for the New York Marathon, but with much less final satisfaction. Oh, I forgot: not a single apology for delays beyond an hour; in fact, they pretend nothing is happening. Profile created specifically for this review after multiple instances of almost unbearable misadventures.

04/06/2026: I don't expect everyone to be equipped to offer something gluten-free, but at least they should know what gluten-free is... They said "sure!" and then not only didn't bring me anything, but they made me pay as if I had eaten; I only drank a soft drink.
24/04/2026: I gave the food zero stars because the aperitif consisted of cold, stale appetizers that we couldn't eat. At the cashier, they had the nerve to say it was our fault for not asking for reheating. The excessive price of €25.50 for three Cokes and stale, cold appetizers that we didn't even eat...a disgrace.

08/03/2026: Ah, what a wonderful refuge of flavors I found on the shores of Lake Laceno! After days of walking through dense forests, streams whispering secrets, and rocks reeking of the wind, I stumbled upon this restaurant that seems to have emerged directly from the heart of the mountain. The air smells of burnt wood and freshly baked bread, and as soon as I crossed the threshold, I felt welcomed like an old friend returning from afar. The dishes tell stories of pastures and valleys: creamy cheeses, mushrooms picked at dawn, meats flavored with wild herbs. Every bite is a journey where nature speaks, and my explorer's spirit finds rest and celebration. Here, time stands still, and the mountain embraces you even in its flavor. I will return, guided only by the stars and the echoes of this wonder.
24/11/2025: Food prepared without love, just to fill your stomach. For example, in the pappardelle with mushrooms we found pieces of undissolved stock cube..... The mushrooms were full of water..... the waiters stand near the tables while you eat and listen to what you say while watching you eat, truly inconvenient.
