31/01/2026: Excellent quality ingredients, authentic and traditional cuisine, delicious pizza and panuozzo, well-cooked and rich in ingredients. The staff is attentive, polite, and very attentive. A must-visit. A feast for the eyes, the taste buds, and the hospitality is impeccable.
22/12/2025: Total disappointment, a very heavy pizza, low-quality ingredients, and high prices.
In my case, I had a pizza with prosciutto, which tasted like a steak.
Never again.

20/11/2025: Bakery and pastry shop, a paradise for sweet treats to enjoy right there and then take home. A must-stop when passing through Avellino. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly.
07/11/2025: A quick work stop for two coffees and a cappuccino at the counter. The total bill was €5.20.
This price is significantly above the average not only in Campania, but also nationally. My consultant, on a business trip from Florence, doesn't pay this much even in his city center.
I politely asked the cashier if there was a mistake on the receipt or if she had entered an extra drink, but she quickly replied, looking back at the receipt, that "everything was fine," making me feel clearly mocked for an unjustified price increase.
NOT RECOMMENDED. Due to the lack of honesty, the excessive cost, and the inadequate quality for the price, neither I, nor my colleagues, nor the companies I work with will ever return for coffee or lunch.

20/10/2025: The chestnut pastries I bought in the square, while nice-looking, tasted moldy. Nothing like the ones I've bought elsewhere. And three different items: a swirl, a piece of tart, and a sfogliatella.

Desserts a bit disappointing: 2 trays of
Castagnole bought directly from the pastry shop, a bit old, at least 2 days old. €20 per kg. The chestnut tart was tasteless. €1.50 per piece.

19/03/2026: Ever since we discovered the 50% off promotion with The Fork, we've been regulars at "La Scintilla." The cuisine is traditional Irpinia, but they also serve seafood. Whether meat or fish, the dishes are exquisite and beautifully prepared. I've yet to try their pizza. A special mention goes to the maître d', Pietro, who is always kind, friendly, and attentive in recommending dishes and meeting the needs of his guests.

01/12/2025: My wife and I went for lunch on November 30, 2025. We ordered fried cod and burrata with anchovies as an appetizer, and it was good. For our main course, we had spaghetti with clams and orecchiette with shrimp and clams. We ate everything, but the flavor was far from what it should be. It seemed like the various ingredients had been prepared separately and then combined. The seafood taste was absolutely nonexistent! We also only had a mixed grill. But even that was disappointing, even though the ingredients seemed good. I'm sorry, but for my tastes, it's not a good seafood restaurant. Maybe I was just unlucky.
27/11/2025: I discovered this restaurant thanks to my nephew Raffaele, what can I say: I've never eaten such good fish, and I'm not exaggerating.....

07/12/2025: Every time I leave Naples, this bar is my favorite stop before reaching my beloved home in the charming Altavilla Irpina. Yesterday was a wonderful surprise: a beautifully renovated bar with great style and elegance. Fortunately, the management is still the same, because the owners are particularly welcoming and, above all, professionals in the sector. I recommend anyone to stop at this bar to relax for a few minutes before reaching their final destination.
20/09/2025: Despite the restaurant being half-empty, we ordered three courses and were served one. After complaining, we were told that the chef had forgotten our orders and that the main ingredient in the pinsa we ordered (burrata) was no longer available. Therefore, we were served a different pinsa than the one we ordered, topped with a nice little hair inside.
