22/08/2025: This place is definitely to be avoided due to its inadequate and rude staff, especially the big, balding, thuggish guy at the counter. I went there this morning with my wife, who, every time we return to Avellino from our hometown, goes there with her mother. When we simply asked for a creamy coffee and a white chocolate coffee, we were treated insolently and rudely, with inappropriate innuendos and sarcastic jabs. Naturally, we left without ordering anything. If the person in question is the owner of the business, I sincerely hope he goes bankrupt, which is what anyone who treats customers this way deserves, even though they are the ones who earn their living. If, however, he is an employee, I advise the owners to choose their staff better and make sure they hire people who don't take out their frustrations on their customers.

22/08/2025: Our meeting point for an aperitif on Sunday evening, pan with hot fried food and snacks make the time pass happily and what can I say about the ice cream, excellent and if you are with the children a few minutes on the swing located at the entrance makes your evening pleasant

23/03/2025: Dopo visita all’abbazia del filetto, son venuto a pranzare in questo ristorante dove accettano i cani. Ho preso un antipasto di trrra con broccoli, il risotto ai tre pomodori e il tonno…poi tiramisù e caffè…il risotto è stato ciò che mi è piaciuto di più…locale carino…

The Filodoro pizza, fried in hot oil and reheated in a wood-fired oven, is truly unique—a delight. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the service is quick and attentive. Highly recommended.

14/07/2025: Top-notch dough. Pizzeria Makeda amazed me with the quality of their pizza dough, which is highly digestible and absolutely top-notch. They offer several different pizzas, with some fairly new toppings, but also include more classic and traditional options. The only flaw: the spicy potatoes were really hard to eat; the garlic flavor was too strong. But the pizza is definitely worth trying!

06/08/2025: I've known this pastry shop all my life. I know my grandmother's hometown, where she often came to visit on Sundays as a boy. I've always had clear memories of the sfogliatella that Santaniello used to make. Over the years, I've continued to come here occasionally, even after her passing, when the business was carried on by her children and now by her granddaughters. "The flavors of each dessert are balanced, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. The sfogliatella is always a strong point, although I must admit it's a little less abundant than in the past. One of the best I've ever eaten, along with the one at Attanasio in Naples. The coffee scoux is an explosion of flavor with a cream made from real espresso coffee with ground coffee, like so many do. "The staff is attentive without being intrusive. "They're knowledgeable about the desserts and ingredients, and you're always made to feel welcome." "You're always made to feel welcome." The service is impeccable. The restaurant has remained as classic as it once was, well-maintained. Obviously, I'm biased every time I go in, thinking it's like stepping back in time and becoming a child again. I often hear this place accused of being expensive. The prices are reasonable, the quality is excellent. They still faithfully use grandfather's recipes, and the ingredients are carefully selected without any artificial additions. It's definitely worth every penny! If I really have to make a small criticism, for example, that the size of the sfogliatella is smaller than before, it's also true that wanting to maintain excellent quality without dramatically increasing prices in a country like this where these things aren't appreciated by everyone can't be easy. They came all the way there to try it. Unfortunately, their daughter is celiac, and they didn't bother asking if there was anything without it, and honestly, I didn't know when I recommended it. Unfortunately, the daughter wasn't able to eat anything... 07/07/2025: This place is simply in love with itself. First we came here for breakfast, it was incredibly delicious. The coffee was incredible, the desserts were moderately sweet, but incredibly delicious. The waiters are very friendly and positive. The next day we came back here for ice cream and were impressed again. The ice cream display is mesmerizing. You just look and you want everything at once. We tasted several different balls and it was very, very delicious. If you are in Avellino, you should definitely visit this place🫶

24/07/2025: Rooms were rough, broken, and full of dust, even after being cleaned. Very poor service, arrogant and haughty. The waiters were extremely rude, as were the owners. The hotel was completely neglected, the pool in terrible condition, filled with regular, unchlorinated water and full of animals and leaves. When we asked to have it cleaned, the owner replied that it wasn't his problem, but ours. No service at the bar; there was never anyone behind the counter. Same thing at reception. I and other people were left in the elevator, and again, the problem wasn't theirs, also because there wasn't enough room for the technician, and we had to make do by saying we had exceeded the weight limit (800+ kg), when in reality there were three of us.

05/08/2025: A historic pastry shop in the heart of Avellino's main street. A quiet and welcoming place, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the desserts are excellent. During our stop, we enjoyed an exceptional baba with cream and black cherry. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

30/06/2025: Good morning everyone, yesterday 29 06 2025 we celebrated the first communion of our princess.....everyone made this ceremony fantastic.....I sincerely thank the owner of this wonderfully beautiful structure, but above all the staff...the waiters for the excellent service....the chefs for the dishes that were excellent both in flavor and presentation.....and then we sincerely thank Fabiana, a wonderful person who made us feel at home.....if I had to recommend, I would have no doubts in proposing Villa Casale
