10/10/2025: I rarely come here but always get a great welcome and excellent services.

20/10/2025: As an adult, you're forced to order the full menu and aren't allowed to choose individually. The kids' menu is also only for children and adults aren't allowed to order it. You can only order large bottles because there are no small bottles available! When we said we didn't want to order the full menu and left after ordering drinks, the owner came over and gave us a menu where you could order individual dishes without ordering the full menu, which I thought was good. We weren't the only guests who complained!

12/12/2025: I didn't give it zero stars because it's not possible. I was disgusted. I'd heard good things about this place, but it was all nonsense. Terrible food, inflated prices, smelly staff, and rude behavior. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT HERE AGAIN.

07/12/2025: I wouldn't even put a sect I was very disappointed they had told me good things about this place but it was all nonsense super expensive and poor quality food moreover the staff who served me smelled of sweat and it was the Sunday where I ate worst since I can remember if this is the alternative I prefer to eat pre-cooked food at my house👎👎👎👎👎

14/10/2025: Every time I go there, it's AT LEAST 30 minutes late, EVEN if you ordered hours in advance... the other time I was left waiting 2 hours late!!! The pizzas were also wrong. The pizza maker is never in a rush and never starts making them on time. He, on the other hand, waits until you arrive and then calmly starts making them after he's finished talking to his friends... You order today, you eat tomorrow.

14/10/2025: The service is nerve-wracking. After ordering over the phone at a specific time, it seems like they take the order and crumple it up to feed the wood-fired oven. Only when you show up at the time the pizza should be ready do they start preparing it. If you're lucky, they leave in 10 minutes... with a final delay of at least half an hour on normal days, and a full hour on weekends. Don't you dare order delivery unless you have two hours to spare to wait (and reflect). The delivery guy moves slowly: the delivery time is longer than training for the New York Marathon, but with much less final satisfaction. Oh, I forgot: not a single apology for delays beyond an hour; in fact, they pretend nothing is happening. Profile created specifically for this review after multiple instances of almost unbearable misadventures.

08/03/2026: Ah, what a wonderful refuge of flavors I found on the shores of Lake Laceno! After days of walking through dense forests, streams whispering secrets, and rocks reeking of the wind, I stumbled upon this restaurant that seems to have emerged directly from the heart of the mountain. The air smells of burnt wood and freshly baked bread, and as soon as I crossed the threshold, I felt welcomed like an old friend returning from afar. The dishes tell stories of pastures and valleys: creamy cheeses, mushrooms picked at dawn, meats flavored with wild herbs. Every bite is a journey where nature speaks, and my explorer's spirit finds rest and celebration. Here, time stands still, and the mountain embraces you even in its flavor. I will return, guided only by the stars and the echoes of this wonder.

24/11/2025: Food prepared without love, just to fill your stomach. For example, in the pappardelle with mushrooms we found pieces of undissolved stock cube..... The mushrooms were full of water..... the waiters stand near the tables while you eat and listen to what you say while watching you eat, truly inconvenient.

13/10/2025: Nice big place with an outside garden, friendly staff but not attentive in my opinion, as for the food it's not bad but it needs to be much better.

10/11/2025: The atmosphere is absolutely welcoming, and the people are all incredibly kind. When you walk in, you'll want to buy everything. We even decided to have lunch there, and we were absolutely satisfied. Quality products and absolutely fair prices. Congratulations, you guys are a great place. Keep it up!

02/11/2025: Beware of the young saleswoman. She tried to overcharge us by pressing down on the scale to weigh sausages that were already priced! I took a pork sausage and a wild boar sausage and gave them to her. I saw her put them on the scale and casually rest her hand on them in the corner. At first, I thought, "She doesn't understand anything. She doesn't know how to do this." I could see that there was no fixed price she was getting, obviously, and then she came out with an astronomical price of €44 for the two sausages! I said, "Oh no, at that price, of course I'm not buying them!" We put them back in the basket. I grabbed two more from the side and realized that the prices were already fixed on each sausage, which had already been weighed! They were already €11 and €13, which is an astronomical price for the size of these sausages, which, to make matters worse, weren't even local! Too fatty, too salty, and not made in the valley! So, a double rip-off. In short, beware, it's a tourist trap!!! And the saleswoman clearly thinks you're an idiot... I don't recommend this place. You'll find better, cheaper, and more honest options elsewhere...

08/12/2025: Avoid at night, it's crowded and the service is poor.

02/09/2025: We stopped there, ordered alcohol, they didn't even bring us a snack, evidently there is a surcharge because if you don't specify it you get nothing, average price... Very nice place and nicely decorated.

04/01/2026: I stayed for one night on December 19, 2025 with a family of 4. I must say that we were welcomed very well by Mr. Enrico. He showed us the room and found it already warm. The place is enchanting. In the bathroom we found everything we needed as well as in the room. Breakfast was with warm croissants and the rest was a standard breakfast. The payment is within the three-star prices, in fact a little less, I paid only 85 euros. After all, we were just looking to sleep one night and certainly didn't expect a 5-star hotel. In any case, I will keep it in mind for future trips. Piero Gangemi, ct.

01/01/2026: We stayed on New Year's Eve. The property is beautiful, with good potential but not fully exploited. The prices are good. The bathrooms, especially the showers, need updating. The bed is quite comfortable. The breakfast is poor. Parking is good. It could do much better.

14/04/2026: We spent a Sunday in peace and quiet, we had lunch at the Parthenos restaurant in the courtyard of the Sanctuary of Montevergine, a characteristic, quiet and well-kept environment. The friendly staff served us dishes based on local products cooked just like mum did. We opted for the €30 menu with two first courses and two second courses. An excellent and plentiful experience to be repeated.

10/05/2026: We went for lunch on Sunday, a table for eight. Dirty napkin and glass, and a water bottle with breadcrumbs in it. The appetizer was the only thing that arrived in a reasonable amount of time. They took our orders for first and second courses, and AN HOUR LATER, they realized they'd lost our order. They took our order and messed it up, bringing different and incorrect dishes: broken and stuck-together paccheri, Bolognese sauce with pasta water in it. For second courses, they brought a meat platter for eight people. A steak was ordered, and three were brought. We basically ate in stages: some ate the meat, some dessert, some nothing. We expected that at least the first courses, given the timing, would be removed or discounted on the receipt. €280 for eight, eating little and poorly.

04/04/2026: It's not worth what I paid. Now, take this review away from me.
