11/12/2024: We tried this place which I say has been closed for years and opens at the time of booking. I didn't appreciate the food, I couldn't choose the dishes I wanted to eat as there was no menu. Pennette with sauce for the children was decidedly tough, first courses for the adults with a decent taste, the meat was a big flaw, I have never eaten such disgusting meat, it gave me the appearance of being leftover meat. I have never seen a mix of meat with a hamburger that is very hard and divided in half is absurd. In the end we ate badly and also received a high bill of around 40 euros per person without dessert.

30/10/2024: Sono stata a cena da Ilario Al vecchio mulino un paio di settimane fa ed è stata un’esperienza fantastica… un tuffo nei sapori locali esaltati all’ennesima potenza! Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo servizio tanto da sentirsi a casa. Ero con un bel gruppo di amici e ci siamo divertiti anche dopo cena: abbiamo cantato e ballato fino a tardi con la sua massima disponibilità e compagnia! Davvero un locale da consigliare e in cui sicuramente torneremo! Grazie a Ilario e a tutto il suo staff!!!

I could write for days about this restaurant and the numerous visits made over the decades, but I prefer to leave you the pleasure of discovering it for yourself. A gastronomic experience that deserves to be lived.

16/11/2024: Rustic and family-friendly place. Nice to see locals (or neighbors) hanging out in a less formal environment, where they often advise you what to order. Good pizza. Fast service, the lady who waits at the tables is my 2 year old daughter's new best friend (therefore also recommended for those with children). What can I say more try it for a quiet and pleasant evening.

06/04/2025: When you enter this place you are welcomed by a very pleasant and classy environment... you think, I have finally found the place suited to my tastes... then the delirium, the terrible mise en place, the fruit forks as a fork for the second course course 😰 buy the right cutlery for such a beautiful place... the starters tasted like nothing... you go to the toilet and you have to climb over a toy space, every time the waiters passed I had to move with the chair, otherwise they couldn't pass, the polite and polite waiters... very little is needed to make it an excellent restaurant

22/03/2025: Fast and furious in taking orders, friendly and kind staff not arrogant at all, especially the waiter with black hair, he never gave a dirty look or spoke rudely and annoyed as if it were not thanks to the customer that he gets a salary. Great place, I will definitely be back... obviously! 🥰🤦

12/10/2024: It was the third time I went to eat at this place; inside it is quite well looked after, the garden however needs more care. The food is good, even if the portions are not large. Too bad about the service; there is a need for more staff! a table of 25 cannot be served by just two waiters. We eat in installments! To conclude, great potential, but still to be exploited! Ps. The place is completely isolated from the internet; in 2024 you can't not have a wifi network, but this is a purely personal opinion, of course.

29/09/2024: Non porte i menù e non si conoscono le pietanze... Il tutto si basa su una chiacchierata. Però il conto non è fatto di chiacchiere, ma di numeri che non sono né scritti né spiegati. Non si capisce se le pietanze sono calcolate sulla base delle persone (e così neanche va bene perché poi la quantità non corrisponde se non di porta a tavola il piatto per ogni singolo commensale, ma a "centrotavola") o come, bohhh...? Onestamente penso che, seppur abbiamo mangiato bene, uscire con la sensazione di essere stata presa in giro non è affatto piacevole, quindi non ci ritornerò. Per chi vuole provare, siete avvisati...

23/02/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato la laurea di mia nipote alla Locandina e, come sempre, è stata una bella esperienza. Un aspetto molto importante per noi è che mia moglie è celiaca, e siamo stati felicissimi di vedere che ha mangiato benissimo e con molta attenzione alla sua dieta. La cucina è l buona, con piatti ricchi di sapori. La cena è stata articolata e variegata: un buffet di aperitivi di benvenuto con tanti fritti simpatici, un antipasto con affettati misti e formaggi, gnocchi di broccoli con cotechino sbriciolato e fonduta di cacio ricotta, e un ottimo maialino come secondo piatto. Ogni piatto era ben preparato e gustoso. Questo ristorante per noi ha un significato speciale, ci ricorda momenti importanti, tra cui la festa a sorpresa dei 40 anni di mia moglie. Anche in quella occasione, come sempre, è stato tutto ottimo.

01/01/2025: Per il mio compleanno cercavamo un locale bello e dove si respirasse aria irpina, gentilezza, familiarità senza eccessi e buona cucina. La locandina ha corrisposto in pieno alle mie aspettative. Bella la sala, elegante e non affollata, personale professionale e cortese, ottima cucina. Lunga vita alla Locandina!

They don't need reviews, whatever you eat at Abellinum it's all fresh!
