Babà, graffa, and maritozzo. The podium, in my personal opinion, but the order between the three varies. Of course, it's not just these, but if you look for "that" flavor, you'll find it unchanged every time. The display changes with the holidays, with the punctuality of the San Martino nougats, the reliability of the mostacciolo al naspro—it couldn't be Christmas without them—with the certainty of the unsurpassed and always fresh almond paste desserts. It's difficult to find the bombarda anywhere else, except at De Pascale, which offers it unchanged and fused with the same timeless aromas. The secret of this pastry shop that has defied trends and remains fully embedded in the tradition and history of Avellino and its Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, lies in the choice to respect the time of memories, with an eye to innovation. A coffee at De Pascale is not just a coffee, but a moment of conviviality. You'll meet Roberto at the register, Francesco, whose advice in the exquisite wine cellar is a true lesson, and Sara and Tiziana, always cheerful, between the workshop and the counter. No less beloved by customers is Teresa, who, with charm, manages even the longest Sunday lines. Some places are bestowed with a sense of belonging, serving as landmarks for those who, alone or in company, have stopped there for refreshment.

Good quality pastry shop, the only shame is the bar counter area where the space is limited and it is often not easy to pass through.

We had breakfast at this pastry shop and were truly amazed. We each had two croissants, which is unusual, as they were so delicious, along with a latte macchiato and juice. You can tell the croissants are handmade, and most importantly, they use quality jams. The place is very clean, and the staff is very attentive. Top!

The cakes and pastries are of undeniable quality and deliciousness. A special mention goes to the babà, excellent! In my opinion, the coffee could be improved, with a sour, burnt taste.

De Pascale's Babà is an institution in Avellino. Unbeatable!
