04/09/2025: The food is good, but the prices are exorbitant and unjustified, especially for a place that insists on making it clear that it's a butcher's shop, not a restaurant. Even then, it would be difficult to return.

13/10/2025: The old farmhouse is like stepping back in time. I recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, carefree weekend. Clean air, a clean, warm room, and a comfortable bed. Authentic, plentiful, and delicious cuisine. You won't regret it!

07/10/2025: I was expecting homemade pasta, but they "bought it" instead. I was expecting a ragù, but instead I ate a sauce with a little minced meat. I was expecting to smell animals to give credibility to the dishes, but instead I didn't see any... well... not to mention the waiter, who was emptying the plates in front of me and then snatched a plate away from a fellow diner while she was still eating...

11/09/2025: I don’t write a lot of reviews. I have to tell all what a fantastico experience we had at Vela Bianca this evening. Free m the moment we were seated until the time we left, we were treated so well. The manager, Michael, was kind and welcoming. Our primary server, Mucharo, took great care of us nd we adored his sense of humor. The food was amazing… best meal in Sorrento so far. We’re hoping to come back again before we leave. Highly recommend!

02/09/2025: My wife and I went for pizza for the first time at Pizzeria Casa Giglio, and everything was delicious. I had a pizza with mortadella and a ricotta-filled crust, and it was delicious. The fried food was also excellent. The place is small but very welcoming. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely be back. I recommend it to everyone.

09/08/2025: We visited Osteria 'O Ciardin on a Saturday evening with a reservation. The restaurant wasn't very crowded, and we dined in the outdoor garden. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The menu is based on seasonal produce, and we enjoyed two appetizers: the peach salad, a pleasant discovery, and the delicious sciurilli and zucchini parmigiana. For our first course, we chose delicious spaghetti with corbarino tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella, with the typical sweet and sour flavor of this tomato, and a summery Genovese with fusillo sangiliano, much more delicate than the Neapolitan version, enriched with lemon zest and featuring the typical fusillo of Sant'Egidio. We washed it all down with a delicious Falerno wine. The bill was in line with the quality and deliciousness of the dishes we ate. Highly recommended for an al fresco summer dinner in a family-friendly setting.

Quick service, no long wait for either appetizers or main courses. - Cuisine: As an appetizer, we tried a small homemade seafood tortano, with tuna mortadella and other seafood specialties instead of the traditional cured meats...very good and unusual. For our first course, we tried the seafood nerano with shrimp, also very flavorful and plentiful; for our second course, we tried the seared tuna with baked potatoes, equally good, but in smaller portions. I didn't particularly like the dessert: I didn't taste the white chocolate, just the accompanying creams. Atmosphere: Quiet, with pleasant background music. - Venue: Well-kept and modern. - Area: In the center of Vomero, on one of the cross streets of Via Scarlatti. Parking is very difficult, but there are several parking lots nearby. Review: We had a pleasant evening, with good food and good wine. We'll be back!

First of all, there are various breakfast options to choose from (not only in Italian style), secondly, these are interesting compositions and taste very good, and thirdly, you can end such a meal with very good coffee (and fantastic cake if you like that).

We then had lunch at their restaurant, "Pappone," and I must say it was a truly unforgettable experience! The setting was incredibly clean and comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we entered. The staff was truly polite and kind, extremely helpful, and attentive to their guests' needs. 26/09/2025: Shortly after opening at 7:00 PM, there were plenty of free parking spaces and seating. We tried three different burgers. All were delicious. However, they were very difficult to eat with rather blunt knives and forks. It's best to use both hands 😄. In general, the various dishes are reasonably priced. The beer menu, however, doesn't include standard beers. A large selection of specialty beers, but also at comparatively high prices. The service was attentive and quick. The menus and drinks were available in English.

22/09/2025: I've been to this place many times, always very good, not so much last Saturday, the staff perhaps a little inexperienced, but certainly kind, the food has always been very good but this time the pizza didn't blow me away, but that can happen, what left me a little so was the bill.... but I understand that nowadays Pompeii is the little Monte Carlo and rightly everything costs more....
