It was a wonderful discovery for us who are looking to eat in a genuine, simple and respectful way of our excellent traditions. The pizza and bread we enjoyed together with the porchetta prepared by them were excellent. Very good! Even meat and first courses. Genuine wine. The owner was very kind and you can see that he is a person who knows the raw material and also knows how to cook well, without unnecessary frills. Absolutely worth returning for those who want to eat well in a rustic, simple but good environment, in the presence of a beautiful fireplace that pleasantly heats the environment. External veranda and open space. Many parking spaces. Absolutely honest prices. Compliments! We will be back 👍

03/05/2025: I went to The Sign for dinner with some friends. Although I have always frequented Pozzuoli, I didn't know this place, and I was really happy to have discovered it. The guys are all kind, nice and patient. The place is very welcoming and has both an indoor and outdoor space. The menu has a wide choice for each course, several original options and the portions are generous. The sandwiches were all delicious. At the end, they offered us a round of bitters. We were also surprised by the cost, because compared to the average, we found it convenient. I highly recommend it!

From the moment you park your car/scooter or arrive to the area where La Ruota is located, it feels like a different and more authentic place on the island, full of locals enjoying the last rays of sun, families and older people chatting casually on the street. The food - fantastic! We had to have another portion of the fried anchovies (alici) - they were divine! Generous portions full of flavor and taste, overall, this place is underrated and deserves the best review. Great service too - always ready with a smile and a joke! A

11/02/2025: We didn't know where to eat and they recommended this restaurant to us and I must say that it is excellent, the food is good, the waiters are polite, cordial, gentle, excellent quality and good prices, nothing exaggerated. And I recommend the polpo e patate.

11/06/2025: We ate well in this restaurant a few steps from the Cathedral of Policastro. Innovative and well-assorted dishes such as the fish parmigiana or the octopus salad with burrata. Then little Federica served us various foods with great kindness. Well done Federica!!!!

15/05/2025: Very interesting place in Ercolano that offers quality cuisine just a few steps from the excavations. We took a tasting menu to try more courses and I must say that we ate dishes of absolute quality in the ingredients, cooked to perfection and also beautiful to look at in the plating. Special mention for the raw and cooked amberjack which was amazing from my point of view. The only slightly negative note is the service which in my opinion is absolutely not up to the standard of this place. The girls are certainly kind but you can see that they have little experience and are unable to take care of the customer as they should in places that apparently aspire to a higher level of catering compared to many other places. Having said that I did not feel like penalizing the review with less than 4/5 because everything was very good and with a quality/price ratio so far really excellent. See you soon.

02/07/2025: Lovely bowl of pasta, just wish there was more meat in the ragu but the flavour was definitely there. Quite a flat atmosphere but great if you want something quick and tasty
