If you're looking for the classic laminated menu with the same old options, you're in the wrong place. At Capo Blu, nestled in the splendid setting of Miseno, the experience begins even before you pick up your cutlery. Here, the cuisine is alive, dynamic, and literally "narrated."
The true specialty of Capo Blu is its constant evolution. There's no static menu: the menu changes every 10 days, closely following the seasonality of the ingredients and the chef's creativity. The wait staff approaches your table with a black palette with a handwritten wine list and "pronounces" the menu, literally describing each course. The dishes are then narrated verbally. It's a ritual that bridges the gap between kitchen and table, where each course is explained not only in terms of ingredients, but also in terms of the idea behind it. This approach guarantees absolute freshness: you eat what the sea and land offer at that precise moment.
The appetizer: definitely order it!
Composed of five dishes served in a sequence designed to amaze. Don't call them simple "tastes": they are elaborate mini-courses that play on contrasting textures and temperatures.
The appetizer costs €20, each first and second course €18.
Why go?
The atmosphere is typical of Miseno: relaxed yet refined, with the scent of salt wafting into the dining room. The quality-price ratio is good, considering the research that goes into every single menu change.

A very nice and cozy place, with reserved parking for guests, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and even nice music at the right volume. We were told they change the menu every 10 days, so today we ordered the tasting of five appetizers (shrimp tartare, farro salad with cod, fried red mullet, a revisited cuttlefish and peas, and gratinated razor clams with cauliflower), all excellent and plentiful. We still found room for two excellent first courses: Ziti alla Genovese with octopus and spaghetti with artichoke cream, bottarga, and lupini beans. Highly recommended.

Very nice place, very interesting menu. All the appetizers were very good and tasty, there were three main courses to choose from, also delicious, and the homemade desserts were excellent. Reservations are essential. The atmosphere is very intimate and welcoming. The service is fast and very friendly. I will definitely be back.

We didn't have a reservation and received a very friendly welcome and were seated right away. The antipasti was excellent (5 small courses), and the wine recommendation was also excellent. The main courses were fantastic (risotto and tuna). The service was very attentive and spoke good English. A definite recommendation ♥️
