Pizzeria La Spiga In Pignataro maggiore

Excellent pizza. The service needs some work, but it's above average (four stars are encouraging).

I stopped here with my family, on our way down to Puglia from a very long journey, at 10:00 PM, asking to be seated. The very kind young man immediately said yes, but specified that due to the amount of work done, the mozzarella had run out. We decided that it was not a problem and stopped anyway. Never was a problem more propitious! We ordered one of their specialties as an appetizer (the parmigiana) then 3 pizzas with cheeses that could replace the mozzarella. Each one better than the other! Products of the highest, if not unique, quality! In addition to the well-leavened dough, beautifully honeycombed crust and super digestible. I didn't give 5 stars to the atmosphere only because I don't like the poor art style that doesn't match the refinement of the ingredients. The location needs to be reviewed but for now, best pizza ever.

The food is good, the price is fair. Small place.
