21/08/2025: We had to get up and leave. Lunchtime at the "i Napoli" restaurant, the waiter was arrogant and rude. We'd told him the digital menu didn't work, and he replied loudly, "It's your phone that sucks, it works for everyone else." I've never experienced anything like this in my life. I strongly advise you avoid the "i Napoli" restaurant if you don't want to poison your day.

21/08/2025: If I could choose 0 stars, that would be the rating the dining room service deserves (lunchtime). The waiter was rude, unwilling to listen, and actually mocked the customer loudly in front of a packed dining room. I strongly advise against sitting in the dining area due to this waiter's rudeness. A word of advice: talking rudely back to people doesn't do you any good.

29/06/2025: Hotel Ferdinando a Sant’Angelo is a little jewel of a hotel. Well cared for by its owner that also run it. It has beautiful thermal pools and a stunning restaurant on a terrace with a view over the sea. My room was very comfortable in size, clean and with a little patio overlooking the sea. Breakfast in the morning is served outside and everything is homemade. Thanks so much for the hospitality and I will be back for sure.

29/08/2025: I came to eat at the beach with a lot of coins in my pocket, and €5.50 fell into the cracks. Some cracks are so big that even phones can fall out (I tried mine, and it fit perfectly). €5.50 isn't much, but imagine being a kid who lost €10.00 at the beach—how would that feel? The food was good, but the experience was one star. I strongly advise against visiting this beach. I advise the owners to seal the cracks with waterproof rubber. I hope this review isn't answered with a copy-and-paste from the beach owners. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

25/08/2025: I took a few days to write this review because I was on vacation and didn't want to ruin my life. However, given how ripped off I felt, I had to do it. I'll start with the negatives because, in my opinion, they're extremely serious. Be absolutely careful with the appetizers. Obviously, the problem isn't just the price; on the menu, it says "raw appetizer" (40 euros). Without specifying what the menu includes, he immediately jumped into recommending the raw appetizer verbally. I asked the simple question, "Is it advisable to split the appetizer between two people?" The answer was, "Of course." I should start by saying that I never trust people when they speak verbally and I always prefer to order what I see on the menu. But I trusted him and asked what the APPETIZER included. From what he told me (3 oysters, 2 prime red prawns, 1 langoustine, 2 cockles, 2 clams, 1 sea bream tartare), basically, in the dish, he brought me one langoustine, one cockle, and 4 shrimp, 4 small ones of choice, in addition to what I wrote above. Definitely a surcharge. I went to pay for the appetizer, it cost me 80 euros because he increased the price... well, 1) who asked you that? 2) I would have understood an increase if you wanted, but damn, you made me pay for an appetizer extra for those two stupid additions? At this point, I would have ordered 2 appetizers. Well, don't trust him when he starts talking, only order the entrees and what you see on the menu. People who do everything verbally always tend to cheat, and in fact, I was practically robbed. Luckily, money isn't an issue for me, and for 40 euros I didn't want to ruin my vacation, but honestly, it could be really annoying. As for the food, I have nothing to complain about, and I even told him after complaining. But paying €152 without wine for an appetizer and two entrees in a trattoria is truly embarrassing for a restaurant with no awards, no facilities, no excellent service, just quality food. At that price, you're truly getting a Michelin-starred experience, and I'm not kidding. I feel sorry for the staff, who are truly good and kind, but I was really upset that I ordered one appetizer and paid for two. Oh, and of course, I want to mention positively that they are very attentive and knowledgeable about gluten-free food. I personally would go back for the quality of the food and the staff, but as soon as he starts talking at a rapid pace during the ordering process, stop him immediately and make things very clear from the beginning, otherwise you'll find yourself with some strange surprises at the end of the bill, to say the least.

15/08/2025: The restaurant is a little out of the way from the center, but it's worth the detour. The pizzas are perfect, the best we've had so far. The setting is pleasant. The prices are very reasonable; the prices for drinks aren't listed; you have to ask beforehand.

23/08/2025: Really great place to stop and enjoy! The prices are the cheaper of the area and for that prices you have a really good food. We had to wait a bit for our dishes and for that reason they give us specialty for free. A great pleasure to diner there!

21/08/2025: Our favourite place to eat at Maiori. Friendly family run business that really cares about the quality of food and providing a lovely authentic experience. We have been three times already and planning to go back again before we fly home. The pizza was my daughter’s favourite pizza on holiday - trust me, she tried at least one a day in the last 12 days! The sea bream is amazing and their chicken special is like my mum’s. Wholesome food! You just need to go either at lunchtime or early evening to guarantee a spot as it gets busy - and so it should be!

12/09/2025: Spectacular! We ordered carbonara and a grilled fish platter, all incredible. The waiters were super friendly and attentive. An oasis of tranquility just minutes from the chaos of Amalfi. Highly recommended.

22/08/2025: You arrive in this village on the square where there is the usteria, a bar, and the pharmacy... incredible. It seems like a fairytale village on one side, and invisible on the other. Where we went in the square there were more than ten tables and lots of people waiting. You really come here because the food is good, there is no other reason. Friends who frequent the usteria brought us. The cold cuts and cheese were good. I ate the excellent homemade ravioli. They are good at cooking cod, their specialty (which my friends ordered). The pizza is EXCELLENT 😜

21/08/2025: Varied and excellent appetizers. All the cod variations are a must-try. The pizzas are well-made. Everything is excellent!

06/08/2025: The staff was super efficient and friendly, and the location was stunning. The seafood menu is recommended, but don't miss the zucchini flowers and the sublime ricotta. We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday.
