13/09/2025: Unfortunately, we went for pizza, but they haven't made it for two years, so the information here on Maps is from a while ago. They don't make pizza at Appia Antica, but they have a big heart and know how to treat their customers. Even though we sat down and got a bottle of water, and even though we got up and left when we learned there were no pizzas, the owners' kindness and helpfulness never wavered, always with a smile, courtesy, and professionalism. Oh, and they even offered us a bottle of water. We'll definitely return for the restaurant, which, even though we can't review the food, has that something extra that makes all the difference... HEART AND HUMANITY

The food was fresh, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. We tried several different dishes and each one was impressive. Prices are absolutely fair for the quality offered. 18/05/2025: It goes almost unnoticed because it is located along the road that goes to Bacoli in a narrow point where it is difficult to stop. But you can park comfortably on the port behind it from which the bar is easily reached through an alley. I had a simple breakfast of coffee, cappuccino, croissant so I do not feel like evaluating the food. What I really liked, however, is the bistro atmosphere of the Parisian Rive Gauche, with that elegant spontaneity that makes you feel immediately good, and at home. The owners (I think), both very kind, correspond to the place and have the same elegant, sober spontaneity. In short, as I often say in my reviews, the food is not the only thing to evaluate: if I go to a place I want the overall experience to be positive, and this is one of those cases. Well done.

07/09/2025: My first experience ever at a restaurant with tastings, 11/10 rating. Excellent staff, excellent chefs. The dishes were so beautiful they seemed so horrible to eat. I was very, very satisfied. I'll definitely be back. P.S. Advice: SCRAPPING THE PASTA is a great way to make a mop of bread. They like it. Thank you so much for everything. See you next time.

06/06/2025: Weer heerlijk genoten van het 'chef menu's van Chef Vincenzo Cucolo in restaurant Aquadulcis in Valle della Lucania, wat een feest. Met behoud van smaak weet hij je telkens weer te verrassen met gerechten bijna te mooi opgemaakt om op te eten. Hoewel het restaurant al enkele jaren een vermelding in de Michelingids heeft is voor ons is iedere gang is een Michelin ster waard. De wijnen zorgvuldig uitgezocht door sommelier Francesco zijn een smaakvolle aanvulling op de gerechten.

28/09/2025: We stumbled upon this beach by chance; the owner kindly explained everything to us. The beach is clean and well-maintained, and the sea is beautiful. We had an aperitif (the price should be reviewed, in my opinion), and then lunch. The first courses were well-prepared, flavorful, with tasty fish; for the second course, we shared a grilled fish dish—fresh, flavorful, and well-cooked. In conclusion: a beautiful day!

22/09/2025: My wife and I ate at this delicious restaurant on Sunday evening, September 21, 2025. The welcome was excellent and friendly. They recommended the catch of the day, and it was an unforgettable taste surprise. The calamari was the best I've ever had. The pizza was excellent. I'm also writing this review to remind myself where to go again. PS. Try the zuppa inglese... simply fantastic.
