20/01/2026: A quick dinner after an afternoon strolling through ancient history. The atmosphere is family-friendly, they offer traditional cuisine, and you can taste the attention to detail in the ingredients. We had pizza and fried food. Both were delicious. The pasta frittata was #1! The pizzas with seasonal ingredients also deserve praise!

16/03/2026: We ate at Zi Pasqualina restaurant, and I must say it was truly a wonderful experience. Here, you can experience authentic Neapolitan cuisine made with love. We ate wonderfully: fresh, high-quality ingredients, and excellently cooked. Every dish had the flavor of tradition, the kind that makes you say, "Now that's what good food is!" A huge compliment to the owner, Sabino. He's a delightful person, always present and attentive to his customers, and makes you feel right at home. The staff also deserves applause: very kind, professional, and always smiling. It's one of those places you go once... and then want to return again and again. Congratulations, keep up the good work!

05/01/2026: We had lemon provola, arancini, potato croquettes, and a white pizza with provola and sausage: everything was delicious, not to mention the lemon and limoncello delight. The owner was incredibly friendly.

Not only was the food delicious and well priced but the people that run this place were fun, kind and clearly love what they do. The atmosphere was authentic and filled with friendly locals. Whenever we’re fortunate enough to find ourselves back in Napoli, Trattoria Romano Gaetano will be our first stop. Grazie mille.

06/12/2025: Visited December 3, 4, and 5, 2025, for lunch with two people. We left a piece of our hearts there, as they say in Naples. We had lunch there three days in a row, which speaks volumes about the quality and deliciousness of the food. But above all, what really struck us was the warm, homey atmosphere. From the very first day, we began to fraternize with the neighborhood residents who regularly frequent this restaurant. I'd like to thank Gaetano, Aniello, and their family and wish them all the best, because it's a memory of Naples that we'll always carry with us. The restaurant, right in front of the Salvator Rosa metro station, is very popular, and since they don't accept reservations, you'll have to wait in line for a coveted table. Believe me, it's worth the wait because the food, and as mentioned, the welcome, are worth it. Homemade cuisine based on the market and Neapolitan classics, including an amazing Genovese, are served on a regular basis. Open only for lunch. Highly recommended.

28/10/2025: Excellent McDonald's, with very fast and efficient service. The food is delicious. The only drawback is that it has few exclusive tables, so you have to use the shared tables with other restaurants to eat, which can be tricky during peak hours. Worth a try.

15/02/2026: Beerhouse has become one of my all-time favorite places. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is perfect for a quiet evening or a get-together with friends. The beer selection is truly top-notch, with many unique options and excellent recommendations from the staff, who are always friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. The food is also excellent: sandwiches and appetizers made to perfection, generous portions, and above-average quality. The place is always lively, but never chaotic, and it exudes that authentic pub vibe, just as it should be. If you're in Salerno and want to drink well, eat well, and be somewhere with a great vibe, Beerhouse is a surefire choice. Highly recommended.

02/04/2026: Trattoria Da Armandino sits right on the beach next to the marina, we stopped in for an excellent lunch. Everything we ordered was outstanding, with the scialetelli and clams, seared tuna, and fried mozzarella being our favorites. My son said the cannoli was the best dessert he has ever had, but I thought the homemade lemon cake was even better. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and checked in with us often.

13/03/2026: Extremely nice place, good food. We had pasta with potatoes and provola and spaghetti di Nerano. They even seated us despite the time, almost 10 PM.

17/10/2025: A bit of a touristy place, but the flavor and quality of the dishes are top-notch. The Neapolitan-style pasta with potatoes and provola is excellent.

15/10/2025: It's as if they cook with the thought in mind that you'll never return—and indeed, after this experience, that's exactly the case. The place is incredibly cramped: if the people at the next table have to leave, you have to get up too. The waiter didn't even want to wait for us to look at the menu, clearly saying that "time flies." The food arrived cold and flavorless, made with cheap ingredients. Nothing special—something you could make at home for two euros. Plus, the chef's treatment of the waiters is simply disgusting. A place that thrives solely on hungry tourists, certainly not on quality.

24/11/2025: Spent a few evenings here in October, great place for a drink and bite to eat in a busy part of town, with plenty of other bars nearby. Great service, highly recommended
