14/08/2025: My girlfriend and I went there on the evening of August 13th. The two waiters were very friendly and helpful, and the place was beautiful and welcoming. The food was truly delicious and typically Neapolitan. The care and passion put into it reminded me of home cooking. Even though I've never been to Naples, I'll definitely be back.

You choose your own meat from the desired cattle-raising area, with different flavors of the meat based on breed and area (Italian, Portuguese, Irish, Spanish, etc. Large pieces of at least 1 kg are grilled and sliced up. You get your own heated iron plate on the table to cook the pieces the way you want them. Exquisite service and quality. But it costs.

07/09/2025: Il Veliero is always a guarantee! Every time I return, I'm satisfied: the dishes are carefully prepared, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The cuisine successfully combines tradition and quality, offering authentic flavors that make you want to return again and again.
Another strong point is undoubtedly the staff: extremely kind, welcoming, and always available, they make you feel at home from the first moment.
A restaurant where you eat well and feel at home: highly recommended!

11/09/2025: It's hard to find a better pizza in Battipaglia. Light dough, superb ingredients, courteous and helpful staff, excellent draft beer (and that's no given). And, crucially, they respect the Battipaglia pizza tradition, which is soft and shallow. So, here you won't find air-infused crusts, "gummy" dough, or chewy, bubblegum-like textures, which are now popular everywhere, even in our country, imitating the pseudo-Neapolitan pizza.
