06/09/2025: It was a truly exceptional experience, we ate very well, we met Ettore, the restaurant manager, a polite, kind, exceptional person, we will gladly return and I recommend it to everyone.

25/08/2025: The 3 stars are because we found them open on a Sunday night. If I had to rate it otherwise, it would be 2 stars. The pizza made here is far inferior to the pizzas in the city and in most cases cheaper, the dough is thick, the toppings are cheap, nothing to do with the classic Neapolitan pizza. As a Diavola pizza, I got a plain salami pizza. The kindness of the servers lasted until we sat down and it turned out that we weren't going to spend too much money, we were just eating our pizzas. In addition, there was no large wine, water, or beer, even though they were all on the menu. And the fact that the service fee is 1 euro per person (which is average and okay by the way), and on top of that! they charge 10%, is simply unprecedented, and the waiters running around mindlessly didn't do much for it, apparently only one young guy did all the real work. If you don't have high expectations, are just hungry, and don't mind the fact that you're in Naples, you'll be fine. But I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for classic Neapolitan pizza!

19/08/2025: The upstairs dining room offers more sophisticated service, but the outdoor gazebo is more homey and casual. The dishes, however, are the same, and I can guarantee it because I've tried both locations. The fried pizza is the best...try it and believe it.

12/09/2025: August 19, 2025, Tuesday. I want to clarify that it was Tuesday: this is because, of the many restaurants, pizzerias, and trattorias in the area, NOT ONE WAS OPEN. So I ended up eating here by chance: and, as I told the owners in person, I was lucky. I didn't pay attention to whether a person with a mobility disability can use the restrooms independently. I liked everything: I occupied a cool room inside alone, and I liked what I ate. Paccheri with octopus, squid, and tuna €18. Fried anchovies (and what anchovies, some looked more like sardines) €10. A small bottle of water, a medium beer, a coffee, and a cover charge: total €37.50. The fish all seemed fresh to me: while I was eating, I also saw five bags of clams arriving, so I guess there's plenty of fresh fish. They also gave me two lemon wipes, which you have to ask for in some restaurants. If you choose to visit the Baia Thermal Baths on a Tuesday, I recommend it: it's just a stone's throw from the Temple of Diana, on the way to the Temple of Venus.

11/08/2025: My wife took me to this gelateria, which for her is a piece of childhood history, tied to the memory of the fantastic hazelnut gelato. Despite the passage of time, the flavor has remained authentic and unforgettable. Every time we return to Naples, we must stop by. Although all the flavors are delicious, I highly recommend trying the hazelnut gelato, a true excellence.

02/09/2025: Noisy. 3 of the 9 of us ate while the rest of the group waited 15 minutes to be served because the waiter had gone to the wrong table.

28/07/2025: Un très belle endroit avec une jolie vue sur la mer depuis la terrasse. Les serveurs sont très accueillants et la nourriture est fraîche et délicieuse. Ce n’est pas un restaurant bon marché mais la qualité du service et des plats méritent le prix.

27/07/2025: The place is great. Polite girl at the reception, we had difficulties with how to get from Naples, contacted the hotel and they were ready to help us and not leave us to our fate. When we arrived, we went out to the parking lot at 30m, we were met. The room has a good view, and overall is neat. There is a restaurant downstairs (and quite a good one) and this is a huge plus. Breakfast is included, also a big plus. I also want to note the common areas for recreation, there are sun loungers, tables and lemon trees.

20/08/2025: Ricciullilo was perfect in every way. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, despite it being the busiest time of the year. Do not miss the food. It was the best we had in two weeks in Italy. Their pasta and fish dishes were incredible. The lemon tagliolini is something I am still dreaming about. The swordfish, bruschetta, and amberjack were also delicious. We paid 50 euro for renting their sunbeds, and it was worth every penny. The service was remarkably friendly, and we are so grateful for to have spent three of our five days in Ischia at Ricciulillo. We miss you already Luigi and Chiara!

09/09/2025: Worth a revisit...Visited on a Saturday, very busy...Good cuts of meat and well prepared, very large sandwiches but overcooked hamburgers, mixed grills definitely overcooked and worth a revisit. Certainly it must be said that Saturday evening is not the best day to visit a grill restaurant...We will return.

28/06/2025: Mediocre aperitif, not very tasty, stale canapés, nothing special. No chips. Central area, few parking spaces. Internal garden in summer not very usable because it is closed and has little air circulation. Good coffee cream.

26/08/2025: I'll never go back! We waited an hour for a sandwich and a pizza, which were both truly unpleasant. The pizza was full of oil and the fries were cold and dry. The sandwich was no exception: the fries were inedible, very greasy and very cold. It seems like the products are prepared in advance and then reheated, like the sandwich.

21/08/2025: We got a table after just 10 minutes of waiting, but it took them over 30 minutes to take our order. The chicken was delicious, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and not dry. The potatoes were excellent, and the fried foods were also very good, especially the Bandidos. They're not frozen, they make them themselves, and they're delicious. We also ordered the turkey leg, and that was delicious too.

13/04/2025: Esperienza terribile... iniziando dal proprietario che è una persona scortese ed antipatica. Servizio lentissimo, dopo 2 ore è arrivato qualcosa a tavola ...un piatto che non so descrivere, frittura con una poltiglia all'interno dal sapore disgustoso. Abbiamo preso poche porzioni per assaggiare ed alla fine rimanevano intatte. L'unica portata gradita è stata i "fagioli alla messicana". Per concludere arrivano 2 paella di pesce al tavolo, io che l'ho mangiata anche in spagna e conosco il sapore ed il costo di questa pietanza quando è fatta bene ,sono rimasta totalmente disgustata, il pesce di certo non era di qualità, probabilmente congelato ...un gusto veramente terribile. Rimaste intatte anche queste. Il conto??? 40 euro a persona,la paella 180? Un conto di quasi 500 euro? Ma stiamo scherzando????? Ovviamente usciti da lì molti di noi sono stati male, dolori allo stomaco, problemi di digestione. Mai e poi mai consiglierei questo posto! Carissimo ed orribile sia per il servizio che per le pietanze di bassissima qualità,un ladro! Scontrino? Nemmeno a parlarne,lo ha scritto a penna!!! Ecco come fanno i soldi oggi

06/04/2025: Update March 2025 (at the bottom) A place for connoisseurs. You won't find the usual Mexican/Spanish tourist cuisine, but typical traditional dishes cooked with the same local recipe. The owner (if you know how to get it, he's a very nice and knowledgeable person) boasts thirty years of experience in South American cuisine on site and does it out of passion. The menu is particular and the products are top quality. The paella (if you want to try his) you will have to book it and not on Saturday because he "only cooks fresh products and the original paella needs 3 hours of preparation". La Madrugada is a culinary experience and as mentioned above is for connoisseurs. The environment is quiet and very small (3/4 tables) so booking is mandatory. The prices are quite high but it can be worth it in terms of value for money. Update March 2025: I confirm that the quality of the place, the freshness of the products and the goodness of the cuisine requires a review of the organisation: in the place there is only the owner and the helper (who however only takes care of the kitchen) and it is the owner who manages the orders, table service and preparation of the dishes, this significantly slows down the arrival of the dishes resulting in you having to wait almost two hours to finally be able to taste the paella; A waiter is necessary to manage orders, especially when you have to explain the dishes on the menu, serve at the tables, welcome customers: it is unthinkable to do everything alone because it inevitably takes time away from preparing the dishes and the wait becomes very long and sometimes unnerving. So you are warned, you will eat well, but the wait will be long

28/08/2025: Great welcome, excellent meat, it's not easy to please, but they succeeded here. Excellent table service, where the customer is almost pampered.
