22/06/2025: A pleasant surprise!! Waiting for our flight near the airport of Reggio Calabria we discovered this pastry shop, bar, fantastic ... We had an aperitif with honors, we had the spritz with cutting board all really delicious, if you are in the area and have to wait for the flight I recommend this place Thanks to all the girls on the staff, greetings to the bartender who makes top spritzes

19/10/2025: This place was exactly what I was hoping for. The food is cooked in the traditional style of Calabrian cuisine. At first, my husband was skeptical of the place, as it was empty when we got there, but Calabrian people typically have dinner a bit late. The place quickly filled up with locals and many families and groups. I ordered the antipasto and I was so full! I asked if they would bring out a gluten free version of the dish, which they did. The menu itself will help indicate any allergens present in every dish. My husband and I got to ask many questions as he was curious of their home made pasta, which was very unique. He described it as very soft while not falling apart. The chef then came out to chat with us and we got to thank her for the fantastic food. Everyone was so kind and patient with us asking so many questions!

19/10/2025: Every time we go down, we come to this restaurant for dinner to sample traditional Calabrian dishes, and every time we've been satisfied. This time, we had the goat stew and the black pig stew. Simply spectacular. Attentive and friendly service, beautiful atmosphere. Congratulations! 😋

12/10/2025: The pizza is good, the service excellent, the only flaw is that the place isn't soundproofed. You have to shout to talk to your neighbor.

18/08/2025: Small, discovered by word of mouth, but truly excellent rustici, in fact it's always busy. I order ahead to avoid long lines: they ask for the pick-up time and everything is hot and ready to eat. Always very kind and friendly despite the number of customers. Never change!

The warm and thoughtfully designed lighting creates the perfect atmosphere for both an evening with friends and a romantic moment for two. The cuisine is excellent, with a wide variety of menus to satisfy all tastes. The service is fast, attentive, and very professional. Highly recommended for any type of event: from intimate dinners to large occasions. 👌🍽✨

22/08/2025: Villa Arangea is truly a special place! The owners are wonderful, kind, and helpful, and you can immediately see how much passion they put into their work. They make you feel at home, always with a smile and a rare level of care. The pastry shop is also exceptional: delicious desserts, fresh and meticulously crafted, each one better than the last. Every time, it's a surprise, and it's hard to choose because you want to try them all! A place I wholeheartedly recommend, because it combines quality, hospitality, and a great deal of human warmth.

22/09/2025: I'm coming to Reggio Calabria from Messina for a sad event after a day with two others. In the evening, before returning home, we searched Google for a place to dine in Gallico. We chose yours, a welcoming place, excellent food, and a fair price. Your colleague, Ivano, was there, and with his professionalism and kindness, he managed to serve us, cheering us up. 06/10/2025: We had an all-around excellent lunch. Very accommodating and friendly restaurant owners. We felt very comfortable, and the food was excellent. You can see that in the photos. A top-notch place, reservations are recommended. We'll be back next year when we're in Scilla. Thank you!

29/09/2025: Raw fish starter was the best - oysters, red prawns, sworsfish carpaccio and crawfish were fresh and tasty. Pasta on the other hand was on the mediocre side. Ravioli and rissoto felt like something i could have made myself on a workday.

11/10/2025: It’s very pretty and the food is ok but the service quality is very poor; it takes ages to get anything, and there’s no lock on the toilet door AND staff just don’t pay attention so you have to yell at other customers not to come in when you’re in there. I don’t recommend it, there are other better places on the same street.

30/09/2025: I'm at home now!! A truly excellent place, especially convenient before the Reggio Calabria exit, spacious, very kind and helpful staff... extensive menus of meat and fish that are truly delicious... on a trip to Sicily, highly recommended for breakfast, lunch or dinner💪

18/10/2025: Anyone who has never eaten fish can say it's fresh... everything frozen, appetizers without salt, fish canapés soaked and devoid of any fishy flavor, endless concoctions and a complete spectacle to behold. Lobster linguine with a cream mixture that hides the flavor of the frozen lobster.

09/06/2025: The cold cuts appetizer was really really great. The service was always impeccable. I liked the pizza a little less because I felt it wasn't very tasty but it was certainly due to the excessive saltiness of the cold cuts. Unique in some respects in the area.
