24/02/2025: In my personal opinion, an experience that was quite FORGETABLE. Ghost pulled pork sandwich and approximate service. 20 euros for a sandwich and drink I think speaks for itself… I would add that I requested changes in the ingredients for the sandwich which I am still waiting for 😀

15/02/2025: The Romeo roastery was a pleasant re-discovery.. tasted it when it opened.. it shocked me on the occasion of an extinct event in Sant'Alessio! What can I say, a truly suggestive and modern environment suitable for various events from a simple Saturday evening to a birthday/party... but let's go to the food! Personally I had the opportunity to appreciate their Omero Hamburger... well cooked meat served with sweet and sour onion, cheddar bacon and their burger sauce... truly delicious! We end on a high note with an excellent dessert... a must for this type of activity... namely a cheesecake filled with Nutella! The environment is certainly pleasant also thanks to the presence of staff who are always attentive to the customer's needs! The frame of this beautiful picture is closed by the availability, kindness and smile of the owners... these are the things that make an evening and above all a place beautiful! 14/02/2025: Found by chance on Google, a butcher's shop with a counter and adjoining room, a nice restaurant. Excellent meat, plentiful, well cooked. The appetizer of local cured meats was plentiful and excellent. The wine is also good. Friendly, quick, helpful and polite service. In short, passing through Villa San Giovanni, if you want an informal place not far from the ferry boarding... I recommend it.

11/02/2025: I'm leaving this review because of the terrible service, below zero! In 37 years it is the first time that they have thrown me out of a place after having had lunch, without the possibility of staying any longer, and with the place still full of people who were still having lunch and therefore not closing (exactly 2.19pm). The excuse was the most inappropriate... with so many free tables they needed mine, ridiculous! I expressed my discontent both to the waiter who kicked me out, who did nothing but facilitate my exit from the restaurant, and to the person at the checkout, who did nothing but justify the waiter and his behavior. I said that something like this had never happened to me in my life and that maybe they should work on staff training! Obviously a place I will never set foot in again but I would really like to have a discussion with the owner.

16/03/2025: As they say, "good wine is small"... on the occasion of spending Sunday in the wonderful Scilla, we stopped in this small place located a few steps from the wonderful Piazza Belvedere, there is no denying that the lunch was above expectations, the best mussel pepper in Calabria (wow), finally I thank the owners Mr. Saverio and his wife Ilaria for the warm welcome, thank you for everything, we will definitely be back again 100%❤️
