04/12/2025: We went to this restaurant for lunch on Sunday. Everything was truly delicious and cooked with skill and love. The ingredients were of the highest quality. A cured meat appetizer unlike anything you've found anywhere else. The pasta with mushrooms was plentiful, delicious, and especially "with mushrooms." The wood-fired pork shank was sublime, soft and juicy. The homemade desserts are also worth it. The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. We'll be back!

07/12/2025: Mr. Condoluci, I'm not used to responding to keyboard warriors, as you can see from my history. I'd simply like to explain to you that the decision to serve an aperitif/appetizer at the buffet isn't always tied to the restaurant, but to agreements made with the bride and groom. In any case, plates, cutlery, and bread are generally placed at the entrance to every buffet. If, during a lunch/dinner—where diners nowadays enjoy several dishes each—the station is left uncovered for a few minutes, you should know that the service is possible thanks to human staff, not robots. So, the attitude of a polite person like yourself would be to inform the Maître d'Hôtel or any waiter, who I can promptly assure you will resolve your issue. But honestly, criticizing a wedding service to the point of not recommending it seems excessive to me. Remember, these are jobs that are most often handled with extra, therefore non-regular, staff, which can easily lead to trivial distractions. In the next review, please advise us to pay a little more attention ⚠️ to these things, but not to so strongly discourage a restaurant that has been successfully serving many ceremonies for years. The good thing about Ristorante San Michele is that we were born restaurateurs, not made over time—this is what makes this place stand out! 22/10/2025: I was very disappointed at a wedding dinner with an aperitif and appetizer buffet. There were no silverware and people were walking back and forth with plates in their hands. Many people didn't get to taste the food, and the table service was also very poorly organized, with a very long wait between courses. The dinner featured beautifully cooked fish, but it's a shame everyone wasn't able to fully enjoy everything. The appetizer could have been served at the table, allowing everyone to enjoy the many delicacies, especially the elderly and parents with young children. In my opinion, I don't recommend the appetizer buffet for everyone.

09/12/2025: We went there on December 8th for lunch, after visiting the village of Bova. It's a simple place, but it serves carefully prepared local specialties. We had a complete antipasto, which we were advised to share between two because it was quite generous, and we did. It included a selection of cured meats, cheeses, 'nduja, and various small hot appetizers. Everything was delicious. Then we had homemade pasta with sausage and mushrooms, mixed grill, and roast goat. We also enjoyed a jujube tart, coffee and liqueurs, house wine, and water. We loved everything and spent €68. If we were to return to the area, we would definitely return here.

01/01/2026: After a wonderful stroll along the idyllic beach of Scilla, we found a restaurant open on New Year's Eve.!! What a coincidence, and what a beautiful restaurant with a delicious menu. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was friendly, the service was friendly, and the food was excellent. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻We will definitely be back.

From the first moment, you're greeted with professionalism and courtesy, in an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail. We chose the Argentine sirloin steak and sirloin. The sirloin was excellent, as were the picanha and suckling pig. The Brazilian side dishes were excellent! The quality of the ingredients is excellent and clearly evident in every dish: balanced flavors, refined presentations, and a cuisine that expertly combines tradition and creativity. The service is attentive, never intrusive, and truly makes guests feel at the center of the experience. Kudos to the owner, Tonino, who is attentive to every request of the guests in the dining room, making you feel at the center of the experience. Kudos also to the entire staff. We'll definitely be back!

13/12/2025: Delicious pizza, friendly staff, lovely location, everything perfect, the bill surprised me. I haven't seen a €4 Margherita in 10 years. It must be said that the place is a bit out of the way, so you have to maintain high standards and competitive prices if you want to fill the place.

05/01/2026: Newly renovated restaurant. Very kind and friendly staff. Very crispy supplì, fried well and without oil. I highly recommend the lasagna one, but the corte d'assise and pumpkin ones weren't very creamy on the inside. The sandwiches are good, with good quality ingredients and compositions. A little to complain about the Smash, as the burger wasn't smashed well. The homemade bun was truly excellent.

28/09/2025: The best granita I've ever had in all of southern Italy!! Homemade granita made by the owner, with a real fruit flavor. If you're passing through Reggio Calabria, don't hesitate to order one. I recommend the strawberry one—with cream it's even better. The service is friendly, the waiter is very pleasant, and the location is hard to beat, right next to the cathedral.

29/01/2026: We stumbled upon this pizza restaurant by chance and decided to stop and try it, given the numerous reviews. The place is very large and crowded, but despite everything, they seated us in just a few seconds, so the welcome was excellent. Let's just say it's a meeting place for truck drivers, primarily, or people on their lunch break. But let's talk about what we ate. The portions were certainly generous, enough to make many people's mouths water, but often, abundance doesn't mean goodness. In fact, I have to give the first courses a five because (and I'm talking about what we tried) they were flavorless and not of sufficient quality to be memorable. I give the second courses a 7; yes, I'm going out on a limb here because I was very satisfied. For better or worse, you still leave feeling quite full. Quick service, a 7 Cleanliness: a 6 Bathrooms: wheelchair accessible, acceptable cleanliness. Ample parking. The place is wheelchair accessible. Bill: low prices Would I recommend going? If you don't want to spend a lot and can handle the TRUCK-SIZED menu and portions, then please feel free to come.

08/11/2025: Excellent restaurant. Located on a quiet street, yet not difficult to reach. The atmosphere is relaxing, with pleasant jazz music playing at just the right volume. The service is excellent, fast, and courteous. The dishes are very good. I particularly enjoyed the mezze maniche with bacon, potatoes, and provola cheese, and the incredibly tender braised beef. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.
