09/12/2025: We went there on December 8th for lunch, after visiting the village of Bova. It's a simple place, but it serves carefully prepared local specialties. We had a complete antipasto, which we were advised to share between two because it was quite generous, and we did. It included a selection of cured meats, cheeses, 'nduja, and various small hot appetizers. Everything was delicious. Then we had homemade pasta with sausage and mushrooms, mixed grill, and roast goat. We also enjoyed a jujube tart, coffee and liqueurs, house wine, and water. We loved everything and spent €68. If we were to return to the area, we would definitely return here.

The food was simply exceptional: refined, abundant dishes prepared with great attention to quality. All our guests were thrilled, and I still receive compliments on our choice. A special thanks also goes to the staff: professional, helpful, and always attentive to our every need. They made us feel pampered from start to finish. Thank you!🩷

Mr. Marcello served the numerous dishes, accompanying them with detailed explanations about the origins of the products. The food was of the highest quality, cooked by Mrs. Giovanna. 26/01/2026: Terrible experience: over an hour and a half of waiting despite a reservation. Unfortunately, my experience at El Puente pizzeria was completely negative. I had reserved a table for 9:30 PM, but upon our arrival, the management was embarrassing. Initially, they tried to seat us in a small, makeshift space, practically "facing the wall," a completely inadequate solution that we logically refused. The result? They only seated us at the actual table at 11:00 PM. Waiting an hour and a half beyond the scheduled time is unacceptable, but what was most painful was the total lack of courtesy: during the endless wait, we weren't even offered a glass of water or a small snack to apologize for the inconvenience. Terrible organization and poor customer service. Not recommended if you're looking for punctuality and professionalism.

11/01/2026: This isn't your typical "grab-and-go" pizzeria. It's a place where pizza is elevated to the highest level. The only downside is that the dining room is quite small, which makes for an intimate atmosphere, but on busy nights, it can be a bit noisy.

07/01/2026: Today I stopped into this pastry shop for the first time to buy some nougat (which I've yet to try). Seeing a display case packed with fresh pastries, I decided to buy four mini torciglioni to have breakfast at home with a coffee. Unfortunately, I have to admit that the torciglioni were terrible: they had a strong smell of oil, and when tasted, they were not only very greasy, but—even worse—they had a distinct taste of used oil, probably used for frying for a long time. From this experience, I reported a strong acidity and burning sensation in my esophagus throughout the day. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this seemed rather serious for a pastry shop that has been in business since 1964. The owner who served me was very kind and helpful; so I hope that, after this review, she can take charge of the situation and ensure that I never find, display, and especially sell, inedible pastries again. The quality and freshness of the ingredients, along with the care taken in their preparation, should be the cornerstone of a pastry shop of this caliber. I hope to return in the future and find pastries that live up to its reputation.

The atmosphere is elegant yet warm, with attention to every detail without being formal. The dishes were a revelation: ultra-fresh ingredients, original yet balanced combinations, and exceptional presentation. The service was very professional, attentive but never intrusive. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and ready to discreetly satisfy every need. The quality/price ratio is also excellent, especially considering the attention to detail and the overall high standard. A place to return to and one I recommend without hesitation to anyone looking for a special dinner. Congratulations.

08/11/2025: Excellent restaurant. Located on a quiet street, yet not difficult to reach. The atmosphere is relaxing, with pleasant jazz music playing at just the right volume. The service is excellent, fast, and courteous. The dishes are very good. I particularly enjoyed the mezze maniche with bacon, potatoes, and provola cheese, and the incredibly tender braised beef. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.

17/02/2026: I spent many summers in Caulonia, but during the summer it becomes difficult to truly appreciate a place. The prevailing cuisines I've savored over time, as a Lodi native imported by love, were those of my mother-in-law and aunts (woe betide anyone who misses an appointment). Marcello was therefore a surprise. The restaurant has been "clean" since its renovation, easier to get to than it was years ago. A beautiful terrace that I imagine would be pleasantly enjoyed on spring/summer evenings. Excellent food. Typical appetizers, which are actually not at all typical because everyone prepares them differently; here at Marcello's they are very pleasant and "saucy," just right, not too heavy, with light and tasty fried foods (the zippuli on sunnu are made in a unique way!!!). Truly well-made first courses, with a courteous assize court above all others. The wine list is understated but well-chosen, and doesn't overdo it, excluding any "international" options. Overall, a very fair quality-to-price ratio. Impeccable service. A table near Alexia, but with good music. The spacious space is pleasantly accommodating even the potential for English beer-fueled noise. Worth a try, even in the summer.

I highly recommend the high-quality craft beers, and there's also a wide variety to choose from. The service is professional and high-quality.
