17/07/2025: The shopping center doesn't have enough restrooms and has only one bar, which isn't enough for the number of customers. Furthermore, you can't use the ATM at the bar, as it's always out of order.

09/08/2025: We went to this restaurant for the first time, drawn by the excellent reviews. We made a reservation for 8:00 PM, called to let them know we'd be 10 minutes late, and when we went in, they told us the kitchen wasn't ready. They could have told us the kitchen opens at 8:30 PM and we could have booked for that time. We ordered several courses, including two tagliolini with lobster, but the waitress explained that that evening they only had tagliolini with squid ink, so we ordered them even though we would have preferred the regular pasta. While we were eating, two regular tagliolini with lobster arrived at the next table. When we went to the cashier to pay, we mentioned what had happened. The waitress, taken aback, became a bit condescending, disappeared into the kitchen, and sent someone else to charge us, giving us a whopping €11 discount. If they wanted to make up for it, they should have eliminated at least the cost of one of the two tagliolini. Also, a 1L bottle of Coke for €8 seems a bit excessive. Anyway, aside from the inconveniences, the appetizers were average, nothing spectacular, and the other two first courses were good. As for the second courses, however, we didn't get served a rubbery fried calamari.

02/09/2025: I had dinner with friends. I had the carpaccio and tartare appetizer. Delicious. Then I chose the duck, which also turned out to be an excellent choice. The Florentine steak my friends had was tender and good quality. The pecorino fondue was also very enjoyable!

01/09/2025: We visited this restaurant after reading excellent reviews, but unfortunately, we weren't entirely satisfied. The place was okay, with no outside seating and friendly service, but the food wasn't what we expected... the first courses weren't bad in terms of flavor despite the overcooked pasta, but the second courses could have been better plated. In my case, the duck breast with berries and bitter cape amaro wasn't as flavorful as the meat, which was also tough. The roast potatoes were good. The place was okay, but not as exceptional as described.

24/08/2025: Friendliness and hospitality are definitely not part of this management...basically, they're transparent...and it's the customer who has to make themselves known and ask. The ice cream is average, nothing special.

24/03/2025: During my recent visit to Fu Lu Chinese-Japanese Restaurant in Polistena, I found the quality of the dishes varied. The sushi was fresh and well-prepared, meeting expectations for a restaurant specializing in Asian cuisine. However, the Chinese dishes didn't reach the same level of quality, falling short of expectations. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere welcoming, but I hope they improve the preparation of the Chinese dishes to offer a more balanced dining experience.

23/08/2025: The beer is very good, but the burgers are the best. It felt like being in America. Perfect meat, tasty bacon, and a perfectly made bun. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Congratulations, indeed.

28/06/2025: Good food. We had pizza and pasta. Cold beer and local wine. Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly, helpful service. They prepared dishes for us that were not on the menu. The place is open during siesta.

La semplicità delle pietanze e la grande qualità degli ingredienti uniti alla gentilezza della titolare ed al calore dell'ambiente fanno di questo ristorante una fermata obbligatoria per gli amanti della buona cucina. Ottimi anche i dessert e gli amari alle erbe ed al cioccolato preparati dal personale della casa.

17/07/2025: What an amazing dinner!! The ambiance was perfect, and the staff were lovely and incredibly attentive. The food and wine pairing recommended by the maître was outstanding, definitely one of, if not the best restaurant in Scilla.
