02/11/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The food was completely bland and tasteless — honestly something worse than terrible. The atmosphere felt like a wedding hall, with no warmth or character, and during our meal The Simpsons were playing loudly on the TV, which totally ruined the mood. The service was fairly good, but not enough to save the experience. The prices were outrageously high for the quality offered. I honestly wonder how there can be so many positive reviews — or if there’s something I’m missing.
28/09/2025: I have been there and continue to go.... I have celebrated my wedding promise, baptism, my daughter's first birthday and many other occasions and have always had a great time.

30/08/2025: We had a wonderful birthday celebration. The location is surrounded by nature, the service is prompt, the dishes are exquisite and traditional... and the owner is very happy to chat with us, explaining the origins of the various dishes... and to delight our ears with the sounds of the Calabrian lyre or guitar. An experience we'll definitely repeat!

24/09/2025: The rooms are small and a bit dated, but tidy and clean. The staff is attentive and courteous. The most satisfying thing was definitely the food. The portions were generous and of good quality. The menu was rich and varied, with a wide selection of both meat and fish. Recommended especially for its location, as it's close to the sea and has an agreement with Bagno 95.

24/08/2025: Guys, in one word: EXCELLENT.
I had a whole tagliata and found it to be excellent in terms of flavor and quality of meat. Then I tried my companions' pizzas at the table, three different pieces... exceptional compared to the average. Definitely the best I remember eating at a restaurant in the last three years. The location is stunning, surrounded by greenery (ZERO mosquitoes), and the live music was classy... not loud, but it created a pleasant background. From the back, we could admire a breathtaking panoramic view. Overall, everything was very beautiful. I'm sorry I can't say the price because I didn't pay, but at least my tagliata was perfectly in line with the average of restaurants far less worthy than this one.

Clean establishment, pleasant setting.
Excellent value for money.

11/07/2025: My wife and I went on Friday, July 11th, and were served by a rude and racist waitress who seated us at the bar in the restaurant, which was 70 percent full. She also refused to let us bring a pizza. It's a shame that an employee like that would ruin the place.

A truly unique place, meticulously maintained and incredibly welcoming.

14/12/2025: We ordered something wrong ourselves cos we don’t understand Italian. Personally don’t like the fried mussel shell with flours and shellfish.. This place better to eat fresh from sea, the pasta is good.

09/09/2025: Delicious local food, a family-run atmosphere with very friendly staff ready to accommodate every need. Compared to all the exorbitant prices you hear about at Lido Gelsomino, the prices are more than affordable. It will be my vacation spot again next year.

The fish isn't fresh; everything tastes the same. Poor value for money.

29/11/2025: It was my first time dining here. The place is gorgeous and welcoming. Decorated with objects found on fishing boats and swordfish. The chairs are sea blue. It's what I call a seaside restaurant, which Reggio Calabria truly is. Truly beautiful. The owner is very welcoming and attentive. The staff is very professional and attentive to everything. The menu is excellent, both for the quality of the food and the execution of the dishes.
I recommend it and will definitely return.

25/11/2025: Welcoming Mexican-themed atmosphere. Typical Mexican cuisine, and for those who aren't into Italian dishes, there's also traditional Italian fare. The staff is courteous and attentive to the diners' needs. Dinner with family and children was excellent; we sampled many traditional dishes at reasonable prices.
Highly recommended; the kids loved it too.
07/10/2025: The staff makes you feel at home, the place is colorful and even the food is Mexican-themed, but not only that: I also really enjoyed the pizza!
