Stunning location in the Siderno countryside. We ate outdoors, helped by the pleasant day, under citrus trees, surrounded by nature, all very relaxing. Fixed menu based on the local products found, so everything is very fresh and genuine. As an appetizer, various cured meats and cheeses, while the ricotta is still warm! Crispy and dry aubergine, potato and pumpkin meatballs. As a first course, macaroni with super tasty cherry tomatoes, very simple but delicious! As a second course, meat stew, well cooked but I must say that the portion was a little small, 2/3 small pieces each with bone... side dish not received... but would have been appreciated. The portions in my opinion need to be reviewed. For dessert, a kind of homemade creme brulee, I really liked it. I could have given more to the service given that the owner is very nice and friendly but some of the answers to our requests could have been formulated in a better way. Local wine but good. All €35 each, also considering the day of celebration I would say in line.

Ristorante molto particolare ed eccellente. Piatti a km zero e frutto di una ricerca dei sapori ed ingredienti antichi. I piatti non vengono portati su ordinazione dei clienti, lo chef, sicuro che nessuna pietanza proposta tornerà indietro, porta a tavola i piatti preparati che sono vari, abbondanti ed tutti eccezionali. Abbiamo pagato 30 € a persona compreso il vino. In più lo chef ci ha allietato con canzoni e strumenti musicali, ovviamente ach'essi frutto di una ricerca di melodie e strumenti della tradizione popolare. Super consigliato

Search for ancient foods and flavors. 0 km food cooked in a masterful way. The dishes are not chosen by the customer but brought to the table directly by the chef. Nothing comes back or is not consumed. Everything exceptional. Highly recommended restaurant. Final with musical performance by the chef who, in harmony with the dishes, uses traditional instruments (lyre, etc.). The performance is of the same level as the dishes cooked: exceptional

Posto che serve un menù fisso, menù fisso che non è dato sapere cosa sia se non a voce dal cuoco ( spiegazione molto edulcorata e priva di referenze storiche). Il prezzo è eccessivo per quello che si paga e tutto dalle bevande ( solo 3 acqua gassosa e vino) sono a detta del cuoco di sua produzione. Cucina tipica da provare se non si è della zona altrimenti meglio evitare. Il cuoco, poco disponibile e a tratti sgarbato.

The owner and chef offers traditional dishes with zero km ingredients. We tasted all excellent dishes: mixed starter, homemade pasta with wild asparagus, simply delicious, goat with cardola and sweet plastro', all washed down with an excellent Nerello, red wine. Absolutely not to be missed!!

30/03/2024: Excellent restaurant with truly delicate and light flavours, however the service is very slow and unwelcoming.
14/03/2024: Orecchiette with broccoli mousse and dried tomatoes to give crunchiness is a reinterpretation of the orecchiette with turnip greens and crusco pepper, the dish is very balanced even if I didn't notice much broccoli. An error in the delivery of the dishes was soon remedied. The scabbard fish pie is excellent. Cinnamon apple cake served with berry or chocolate sauce. I asked if there was also custard and, with great professionalism, they replied that they will immediately add it to their menu. What to say? Years of experience make themselves felt. In all senses.
