12/10/2025: Phenomenal pizza by the slice. The "slice" is by weight, but the prices are absolutely fair. The aroma of the authentic bread is noticeable, as is the quality of the ingredients. A must for a quick, affordable, and quality snack. Recommended -- Updated October 2025 -- Margherita pizza, focaccia with mortadella, and focaccia with spicy schiacciata and smoked provola: seen, tried, and tasted. 08/10/2025: Great little café in the Fuscaldo Marina. The baristas are wonderful and very friendly. Coffee is very good and great Cornetto.

31/08/2025: It's located near the seafront. The place is modern and bright, and you can park nearby for free. They offer both pastries and ice cream, and the quality is certainly there, with a wide selection. They also have some gift items. Prices are a bit high, but the real problem here is the service: the girls at the counter are listless and unsmiling, and you have to wait a long time if you decide to sit at a table because they're chatting among themselves. The service definitely needs improvement.

25/09/2025: What a way to ruin everything that took years to build! It used to be a restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere, reasonable prices, and delicious food. I loved Tegamino (zuppa di cozze) there. They ruined the taste of the food, raised the prices, and hired rude waiters. Da evitare!

25/08/2025: The best pizza in Scalea and definitely one of the best I've ever eaten. Don't let the somewhat spartan location fool you: the quality of the pizza is absolutely worth trying. Super fresh ingredients, perfect dough, and exceptional flavor. Highly recommended!

17/08/2025: Easy to reach. The property is surrounded by greenery, olive trees. Ample parking. As soon as you leave the parking lot, the view opens onto a large, well-kept space with olive trees and a lawn. You can eat both outdoors and indoors. We chose the garden because of the weather. The tables were well-spaced. Our evening was enlivened by live music. The owner, Mr. Franco, was a wonderful host. Excellent and fast service... a special mention goes to the very kind Cecilia, polite and precise in her orders and recommendations... Excellent food, both the pasta dishes and the pizzas. The desserts were excellent. Compliments to all the staff.

16/08/2025: A fully equipped hotel with a sea view, pool, and entertainment, and the entire hotel staff were fantastic. The food was excellent, but sometimes the dishes were a bit salty and some local specialties, which, although good, weren't quite authentic (like the carbonara with cream), aren't their forte. Breakfast was excellent, with tarts and ring cakes, but the croissants were limited because they were only plain and not particularly crumbly. Overall, however, it's a hotel worth a vacation.

12/08/2025: I really liked the spa. Large hydromassage pool, salt room, infrared shower and two steam rooms - hamam and dry. The administrator was 20 minutes late, did not warn us that it would be later, this should be taken into account if you are pressed for time. The hotel itself is very presentable, with a large pool and a huge banquet hall.

04/06/2025: Durante uno stage di scuola di ballo, per cui abbiamo ovviamente già versato la quota per il maestro, ci hanno servito una caprese a base di mezzo pomodoro e mezza mozzarella per "soli" 15€. Servizio inefficiente. Hanno servito metà dei commensali e così...chi mangiava e chi guardava.

03/06/2025: Yesterday I went to this TERRIBLE place for the first time with a group of friends, being part of a dance school we visit many places but we have never been treated so badly: UNSPECIFIABLE staff, ARROGANT owner, RUDE, TERRIBLE service and if I can be of help to someone I strongly advise against it and those who write the opposite are friends or their relatives Good life and never again

15/06/2025: Complimenti a tutto lo staff della terrazza del gusto, dai camerieri al proprietario, entrando si percepisce gentilezza e competenza, cibo ottimo (abbiamo preso portate diverse, tutte consumate con gusto!), ciliegina sulla torta: una fantastica vista mare!

02/06/2025: Attesa infinita per un primo allo scoglio pieno di sabbia filetto di spigola nella media alla piastra ,con contorno di zucchine e melanzane grigliate oneste un piatto di orecchiette al sugo più un antipasto insalata di polpo buona prezzo del tutto 5900 euri. La cosa fastidiosa è stata l attesa in quanto altri clienti arrivati dopo sono stati serviti prima di noi anche avendo ordinato prima . Disorganizzazione nella linea in cucina. Mai più

26/10/2025: Terrible food, cleanliness, and service. Among the dishes ordered: rice noodles never arrived even after I pointed out they were missing, ravioli arrived after the reminder, and the highlight: soy noodles with shrimp, crab, and calamari... that is, 3 shrimp, 3 surimi, and cabbage. I thought: perhaps the surimi symbolizes the crab and the cabbage symbolizes the calamari... All the dishes were soaked in low-quality oil (the kind you never digest), and the spaghetti was very oily and broken... it felt like pasta. But pasta is known to be much tastier and healthier!

Attentive and meticulous to our every need and much more, we spent a week of work surrounded by the warmth of the family and appreciated the culinary excellence of the great chef Romolo... (5-star cuisine) Strategic location for those who want to spend a holiday just 50 meters from the sea, extremely clean and comfortable rooms. Thank you for everything - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED *****

20/08/2025: TERRIBLE SERVICE! The staff was rude, impolite, and completely unprofessional. We were at a table of five. One of our guests raised his hand to ask if there was table service, and the waitress looked at us, turned away with a disgusted expression, and yelled, "There's no table service." We were treated this way, so we decided to inform the owner, only to be treated arrogantly once again, except for one young man who embarrassedly apologized...

20/08/2025: Touted as a must-see location, but sadly disappointed. The service was quick, nothing to write home about. The sailing ship would probably be better seen during the day. We ordered fried food and tuna, but due to the smell and cooking, we didn't eat them. Terrible.

19/08/2025: Good morning, I feel compelled to give one star. Unfortunately, I dined at this restaurant, but it was a terrible experience. After ordering pizza, I had to wait 45 minutes. To tide me over, I asked the waiter for some bread. It never arrived, despite the staff chatting among themselves. When it arrived, the pizza was burnt. I asked for a new one, but after another wait, the new one arrived with ingredients that weren't as described, and the dough hadn't risen properly. When it came time to pay, I pointed out the various mix-ups, but the fact remains that nothing changed, and they still charged me for the pizza. The price was too high for two pizzas and a water. If you want to come to this place, it's best not to order the pizza.

28/09/2025: High prices, bathrooms: at best, they're indecent, dirty from morning onwards, almost all closed and without toilet paper, filthy sinks and no soap. Never again!!!

12/10/2025: A truly unpleasant experience. Orders aren't served in the order they arrive; everything is done "by feel," resulting in you being served after many other tables that arrived up to a half hour later, even though you arrived first. Dissatisfaction is widespread. A table of young people next to us left after waiting over an hour and a half for their food. Another table had their orders wrong, and instead of apologizing, the waiter continued to rant about them... the mussels were very good, as usual, but the rest of the dishes were far below expectations. Compared to a few years ago, I absolutely no longer recommend this place. The next door place, "I due fratelli," is much, much better; both the service and the food are significantly superior.
