Eating a Trieste-style sandwich is a whole different story. A welcoming, meticulously designed place, with attentive and meticulous staff, impeccable cuisine, and top-notch sandwiches.

Rude staff, and that alone is enough to qualify the whole thing. The sandwiches come first, and the fries after, when it should be the other way around. Maybe we need to study the restaurant business, but above all, politeness.

Quiet pub, welcoming atmosphere. Located in the center of Nicastro. Very clean. Good food, excellent wine, and the chocolate cake was delicious.

27/07/2026: I am SO SORRY that this amazing place is closing down and transforming into something else. I hope you keep the linguini & white clam sauce on the menu because it puts every other version of it I’ve ever had to SHAME, from the big juicy sand-free clams to perfectly seasoned pasta. The bread is always amazing. The beef Wellington was like butter. The seafood salad is a delicious and delightful bargain and I truly hope you’ll keep all of those on the menu as well as the gorgeous tiled floors that always reminded me of Paris. Also please don’t mess around too much with the rest of the interior! I’ve lived in RVC for 29 years and every restaurant before Aperitif failed fast, and I’m sure it had much to do with the deafening noise level- a problem that Aperitif solved. Please keep up the fantastic service & I look forward (with some trepidation) to your next chapter! We don’t need another taco place in RVC!!!
28/06/2026: Nice and clean place. We tried the fish, and it was delicious! Fresh, tasty, and well prepared. We'd definitely visit again.
