03/03/2025: Very positive experience in this super welcoming place, with a design that I appreciated, really beautiful. The quality of the food is of a high level, everything made by them from the fries to the Montanarine and finally to the pizza, which on days set by them has a contemporary dough and on others you can choose between classic and cereal. I tried the classic and I must say very light, very good.

02/02/2025: Very welcoming and pleasant place to look at, precise and professional staff, very good pizza, the only sore point is the noise of people's murmurs which unfortunately amplifies inside the place so after a while it starts to get annoying, if it could be improved in the future it would be Perfect.

01/03/2025: Sono arrivato lì alle 00:16 e nonostante non ci fosse praticamente nessuno, sono passati 45 min il nostro tavolo da 5 non ha mai ricevuto nemmeno una ordinazione. Nonostante abbiamo chiesto 5 volte ai camerieri passanti di ordinare, loro si sono limitati a dire che tra poco avrebbero presa l’ordinazione. Al che io, urtato da questa situazione che non mi è mai successo in vita mia, mi sono alzato e me ne sono andato, e lo stesso cameriere che non si sa per quello motivo è passato 8 volte per il nostro tavolo senza prendere lordinaizone, ha avuto la faccia tosta di sfottermi e chiedermi se me la fosse presa, senza poi contare quello che ha detto ai miei amici riguardo al mio conto. Mi dispiace e perché sono sempre venuto in questo locale da anni, e dopo questa esperienza sto rivalutando di cambiare completamente luogo

14/02/2025: È il mio posto fisso ogni qual volta che ho voglia di dolce, ma stasera mi hanno delusa in tutto e per tutto, non ci ritornerò più, personale antipatico e apatico ma non mi ha mai dato troppo fastidio finché appunto una cameriera si è permessa a guardarmi schifata dall'alto verso il basso e ignorare me e la persona con cui ero fin quando non ce ne siamo andati senza prendere nulla servendo però tutti coloro arrivati dopo (ci ha salutati tranquillamente ma sapeva benissimo chi eravamo e che stavamo aspettando perché ci passava continuamente d'avanti e il bar era praticamente vuoto) solamente perché quando è arrivata al tavolo le ho detto che non eravamo ancora pronti per ordinare (ancora non capisco il motivo di ciò in quanto il bar era occupato da pochissimi tavoli). Pochissimi camerieri non sono apatici come gli altri, una sicuro forse massimo due, per il resto l'indifferenza più totale, sembra che ti giudichino costantemente.

Starter, main course and sides were absolutely delicious! Thank you! P.s. There’s no wheelchair accessibility, not great. Overall a good experience

08/03/2025: After years of research I can say that Papuga makes the best sandwiches in Catanzaro. Excellent quality products, everything has its own flavour. The place has its own identity and the guys who run it are very professional, kind and helpful. The only thing I would improve are the potatoes on the side of the sandwiches, I would prefer them to be more homemade, but it's personal taste. For the rest, well done guys. ❤️

15/02/2025: 5 de 5 Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra comida, el restaurante, sus alrededores pueblos, y el chef. El antipasto era una abundancia de mariscos frescos! Comimos delicioso pulpo a la parrilla con papas, camarones en una delicada mezcla de miel y jugo de naranja con una pizca de café, músculos perfectamente cocidos al vapor, increíbles buñuelos de cebo blanco, y seguido de eso con exquisitos linguini con scampi y cicali y una fantástica mousse de café. Huelga decir que volveremos!

02/04/2025: After having overcome the ingenious and coercive booking procedure for April 1st, here we are at Bob alchimia ectera at 7:37 and 22 seconds, all already seated and ready to hand over into the hands of expert professionals not only the responsibility of our experience but also of the interpretation of this experience, and therefore to begin the countdown of the approximately 50 hypnotic-performance minutes of our dinner. In the Italian popular-gastronomic imagination, pizza is not exactly a luxury dish and occasionally a break from the diet, but in Bob's digital menu you are catapulted into a paradise of caloric indulgence with the playful and retro nature of the 80s. So for both tactical and economic reasons you are hounded by the waitress ready to haggle exotic aperitifs, filtered, pale and unfiltered beers, slices and wedges, arriving at already offering dessert and we, like malnourished children from the third world, in the panic of a measured and judicious choice with two slices and two classic pizzas and many expectations and curiosities, find the time to observe and catalogue the various choreographed pirouettes of the waiters, and the not exactly impeccable service, and apart from the two single-portion hazelnut and mushroom dishes with a flavor difficult to describe so good, my margherita, in a confused sequence of false positives, wrong tables and starlings before finding the right path, arrives together with the death stare of my wife who in mode telepathically suggests to me "where the fuck did my pizza go?". Having solved the adventurous-brilliant task in about 15 minutes, we decide to skip the dessert to test the battalion of tireless guys in charge of production and their obsessive attention to detail, and so we ask for the intervention of yet another waiter, and he comes back to the charge, and a little annoyed by our request for an encore, he looks for answers in his wristwatch evidently mandatory for the time management courses imposed by the management. So, from the effort of "work" to get in to the effort of "fun" to have dinner, a coffee and the bill, we asked ourselves: "and now what do we do?"...well after having discussed all the possible alternatives and obviously glanced at the clock we hugged each other to be able to live with this goodbye.

27/03/2025: Peripezie per la prenotazione! Una volta entrati posto gradevole ansia per la fine della cena(che deve concludersi entro 60 minuti ) Pizarro jn caduta eccezionale pizza tradizionale nella media. Nel complesso 8 meno meno. Non è per chi è in cura per l'ansia o disturbi simili...

23/02/2025: Locale eccellente sotto molteplici punti di vista. Innanzitutto la qualità delle materie prime tra antipasti, burger e pizze è l’aspetto più importante e abbiamo notato una particolare attenzione e ricerca da parte del titolare. Successivamente la proposta delle birre e la conoscenza da parte di chi ci ha servito ieri, ma anche lo scorso mese, merita di certo i nostri complimenti. Per ultimo il locale nella sua interezza. Per un appassionato di cinema, mangiare in un contesto del genere: tra macchine da presa e quadri inerenti magari “i soliti ignoti” o “la banda degli onesti” fa certamente effetto. 15/02/2025: Excellent food, not exactly low price. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined when the waiter brought a bottle which, as can be seen from the photo, was dirty with bird droppings. Clearly, in such a situation, it is inevitable to doubt the hygienic conditions. Having pointed out the problem, in addition to a generic apology for a truly absurd episode and the simple replacement of the bottle, no reduction was offered on the total price, not even on the cost of the bottle itself. Absolutely unacceptable.
