21/08/2024: An interesting food and wine experience. The Abruzzino restaurant knows how to harmonize Calabrian tradition with innovation, especially for those who choose to try the 6 or 8 course menu. Personally, I greatly appreciated the friendliness of the service and the ability to satisfy some of my food requests. Some notes: definitely try the desserts. In particular, grandmother's snack based on bread and oil (made with ice cream cream), crouton and a milk cream base. Followed by the coconut foam sprinkled with chilli pepper and filled with blackberry ice cream. The serving of ice cream sticks is interesting and playful, where you could see some pairings of flavours. I wasn't fully convinced by the minimal style (too much) of the place and instead I would have preferred it to be more welcoming and lively in colour. Pet friendly venue.

25/11/2024: I don't recommend it, they brought 7 pizzas for 14 people, it was a pizza round. A waiter pretended to be the manager when we challenged him about the quantities, he initially said it wasn't true! After taking the lead he saw we were right, he said he wasn't responsible. Not very serious people.

28/08/2024: We only stopped for lunch. Excellent cuisine, first courses and truly delicious baked porchetta. The owner is truly a beautiful person. The place is really relaxing. We will be back

10/11/2024: Coming in early in the morning by chance because we are on our way back from holiday, finding the staff smiling and cheerful and on top of that drinking an excellent coffee is the best incentive to make us say.... We will come back here on purpose!

29/10/2024: In the square of Gizzeria Lido there is a Tobacco Ice Cream Bar, from times gone by... The beating heart of the seaside village on a beautiful seafront and one of the largest beaches in Italy.

12/08/2024: Abbiamo prenotato alle ore 21.00, siamo arrivati e abbiamo aspettato mezz'ora per ordinare. Abbiamo ordinato l'antipasto arrivato dopo più di mezz'ora, per non parlare dei panini, arrivati alle 23.00 (un'ora dopo l'antipasto) La carne nei panini era cruda , il servizio lento e pessimo. Non ci ritornerei.

18/08/2024: Очень калоритное место, шикарное домашнее вино. Рекомендую заехать на обед. Кормят не по меню, а блюдами дня. Очень все вкусно, впрочем, как и во всем регионе.

12/12/2024: Leaving aside the very high prices, even if the environment is nice and nice, the food is truly meaningless. I had some cannoli, an ice cream and a Soverato truffle. The cannoli were at least 3 days old, soggy and the ricotta didn't have much flavour, the Soverato truffle seemed to be made with the poorest cocoa from Eurospin and the zabaglione and fior di latte ice cream was 100% made with powder, anything but handcrafted!!! So-so service, not up to what they say they are, all scene.

24/11/2024: Disgusting liquid and lumpy hot chocolate, really disgusting, when I communicated the problem the staff were rude, I won't go back again.

16/08/2024: Delicious homemade food. You can tell that it is made with local products and with taste. After having been to several restaurants in Catanzaro I can say that it is the best place to eat in the area.
