14/01/2026: A must-try if you want to try traditional food. The ingredients are excellent, as are the dishes. Everything was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The meal was excellent, accompanied by the pleasant presence of the owner, who explained the dishes and recommended the best ones based on our tastes. The quality/price ratio is excellent. The typical local first courses are definitely worth trying. Everything was delicious, we'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere was rustic and convivial. And then there's Mrs. Graziella, a force of nature! The prices were very reasonable. I had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

After a lunch some time ago where I enjoyed excellent first courses, a rich appetizer, and prime meat that melted in my mouth, I returned on Sunday evening for pizza. The result? Extraordinary, incredibly light, fragrant, and topped with top-quality ingredients... congratulations!!!

10/03/2026: I had dinner with friends at Riviera yesterday, and I have to say it's the best restaurant in Soverato, in my opinion. We were greeted by Domenico, the waiter, who was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to every situation. He presented us with the freshest fish of the day—truly excellent—and showed us every dish that could be made with the fish that was in front of us, which Domenico had previously explained to us. Everything was truly delicious; the fish melted in your mouth, and you could taste all the freshness and deliciousness. At the end of the bill, I expected to pay more, but I can say that the value for money is truly exceptional. I highly recommend it, and we'll see you again soon.

01/10/2025: In mid-September, my family and I went on vacation near Santa Caterina and had a wonderful time at the Lido. We were there almost every day, especially for lunch. We tried almost the entire menu, including the tasty appetizers, the delicious first courses, including the gnocchi made by the fantastic, unparalleled chef, the exquisite second courses, the highly digestible pizzas, the delicious side dishes, the ice creams, the desserts, the phenomenal Calabrian liqueurs, etc. Our family spent a joyful and peaceful time as guests of the Leto family and their serious and dedicated staff. They all work hard to make your stay in their company a pleasant one, always with a smile, with tranquility, calm, and serenity, with the backdrop of their sea, that of Santa Caterina, which sweetens and makes the presence in the Lido dei Fiori di Ciliegio invigorating. Well done, well done everyone, Ad Maiora 👏👏👏

Safe and Sound is one of those places that doesn't just aim to "satisfy your hunger quickly," but to give you the feeling that someone has really thought about what you're eating. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and relaxing. The pace is right. And above all: you can sense a focus on quality without flaunting it. The dishes arrive balanced, beautifully plated, without heavy or redundant execution. Here, the focus is on clean flavors, clarity of ingredients, and an approach that respects what you eat without overdoing it. And this is a rare commodity at lunch. The service was one of the most convincing points: helpful, quick when needed, but also very accommodating to specific requests. This isn't a given at lunchtime, where many places cut back on attention to detail. If I had to point out room for improvement (for cognitive honesty, not destructive criticism): some dishes could be a little more daring in their aromatic layering. There's no need for radical changes, just that final "click" that makes a dish memorable even in the memory. Overall, Safe and Sound is a place well worth a lunch break in Catanzaro Lido: solid, clean, well-managed, with a contemporary identity. And with a little more attention to the fine sensory details... it could become one of those places you'd recommend without even having to argue.

04/09/2025: What can I say? While I was looking for a place to eat fish and chips because my partner is English, I stumbled upon this little gem. The place is delightful, the music is great, the food is delicious, and the food is truly beautifully presented. Mediterranean flavors revisited in an innovative way. A wonderful surprise. We come to Catanzaro every year, and we'll definitely be back; it'll be one of our favorite destinations. Thank you so much!
