28/08/2025: Lunch with friends on the eve of Ferragosto (August 15th). The place was packed, but the waiters were always present. We ordered several appetizers, including potato and mushroom tart, beef carpaccio, sautéed potatoes with onion, French fries and cardoncelli mushrooms, grilled caciocavallo cheese, and caciocapra with porcini mushrooms. Tagliatelle with mushrooms was the first course, and we finished with tiramisu served in a cappuccino cup and maritozzi with tiramisu. Considering the time of year and the number of people present, the experience was positive. Many tables were eating pan pizza, which looked good, but we didn't try it.

26/08/2025: A fantastic place, a restaurant and pizzeria with an entirely gluten-free menu. Quality local products. Three evenings in SILA, three evenings at Semaforo. We tried everything from pizza and pasta to sandwiches, and gave them all 4 stars. Recommended

The pizza is excellent: light, well-leavened dough and quality ingredients enhance the flavor without weighing you down. The fish also deserves special mention: incredibly fresh, carefully cooked, and impeccably served. 23/08/2025: Very good restaurant, very tasty fresh fish. They were very kind to prepare everything gluten-free, without cross-contamination for a celiac. The fried food could be improved, but the rest is exceptional. The only thing to note, however, is that the wait for the gluten-free fried food was long (45 minutes). On the other hand, since they couldn't provide a gluten-free dessert, they offered us figs. Excellent prices.

23/08/2025: Delicious dinner. There were two of us, and we had a peppered mussel dish, mixed fried fish, two seafood linguine dishes, and a hazelnut dessert. Everything was delicious, but the service was very slow because it wasn't organized. For a crowd like last night, they needed at least five waiters, divided between the two rooms. The owner (I think) was very friendly, as was the rest of the staff. The only downside is that if I mention a spider in my glass, the waitress has to change it, not inspect it to see if it's real. Otherwise, it's very good; I'd go back.

09/09/2025: Hotel with basic amenities, but very close to the highway, convenient for breaking up journeys to/from Sicily

04/09/2025: Terrible experience. Dirty, almost no breakfast. You're not allowed to choose your breakfast. You're stuck with a single croissant (you can't choose a flavor), and they make you coffee or cappuccino. Terrible service. Two stars only because one is for the dog on the terrace.

This restaurant was recommended to us, and we wanted to end our Calabrian stay on a high note by eating traditional dishes...well, they gave us excellent advice. It's a beautiful place, a very rustic tavern. Just looking at the table setting, you could tell it would be a success...beautiful, rustic. The staff were incredibly kind, and the menu was delicious, featuring traditional ingredients and generous portions. And finally...the price was excellent, we don't drink wine...appetizer, first course, second course, dessert...€25 each...highly recommended. They also do pizza, but unfortunately it was our last night...maybe there'll be another chance.

10/09/2025: We had dinner there a week ago and I highly recommend it. Good, fresh food, typical Calabrian dishes well-prepared and presented in their simplest form. The location is quaint, being an old mill, so I'd remove a few ornaments, paintings, altars, etc., as it doesn't need them. My only suggestion to the owner, who is very kind, is to clarify the prices of the dishes on the menu; it's hard to tell the price of each individual dish! Otherwise, everything is exceptional!

26/08/2025: It's like eating at your grandmother's, Mrs. Graziella is a kind lady and she cares about making you eat good, homemade, Sunday-style food, it makes you remember when you ate at your grandmother's as a child, simple foods, oil, water, wine, there is no menu to follow but Graziella knows what to make you taste, it's the rustic place par excellence, like home.

04/09/2025: What can I say? While I was looking for a place to eat fish and chips because my partner is English, I stumbled upon this little gem. The place is delightful, the music is great, the food is delicious, and the food is truly beautifully presented. Mediterranean flavors revisited in an innovative way. A wonderful surprise. We come to Catanzaro every year, and we'll definitely be back; it'll be one of our favorite destinations. Thank you so much!

05/08/2025: A very cute, well-kept, and welcoming place, featuring sea green hues with a tropical touch. The warm, original lighting is beautiful. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. You can choose from a variety of meat, fish, and even vegetarian/vegan dishes, with special attention paid to celiacs. The dishes are carefully prepared. We had three appetizers: paprika potatoes, savory zeppole, and vegetarian tacos, followed by a special rosti with beets and pumpkin seeds and a vegetarian bagel. There were also several fish and meat options. We drank two craft beers and an excellent local amaro (Amaro dell'Eremita). The service was quick and attentive. It was an excellent dinner in a very charming place. The price was fair for what we ate.
