09/04/2026: The perfect place to spend an evening pampered by excellent food, great drinks, a warm atmosphere, and service from those who know how to treat customers with genuine hospitality and warmth. We ordered the Apericena mari e monti (sea and mountain aperitif), where every bite (a generous amount, I'd say) was truly excellent, from fish to meat. It was accompanied by a gin and tonic, featuring a selection of gins and tonics that are not at all easy or predictable to find elsewhere—DELIGHTFUL. The background music and atmosphere of the place made you truly appreciate the moment. The icing on the cake? Valeria, who delighted us with impeccable and friendly service, truly makes all the difference for an evening of fun and relaxation. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

01/03/2026: There's definitely room for improvement. Slow, though always courteous, service. Prices for the fish dishes are average. Vegan versions are available. Personally, though, I'd lower the price. I paid €15 for a plate of fettuccine with zucchini, the same price as the equivalent fish dish. Another thing to work on: the portions. A couple of friends shared a first course. The two "small portions" were as big as my entire plate...which I paid for in full. The appetizer platter while waiting for the first course was very welcome. The atmosphere was informal but very pleasant and relaxing, with the lights set among the olive trees (August 2024).

12/11/2025: A fantastic experience! The chef is truly an artist: every dish is meticulously crafted, with beautiful decorations and top-quality sushi. You can taste the passion and freshness in every bite. Highly recommended for those who love authentic sushi and attention to detail!

11/05/2026: Let me start by saying that I'm from Trieste, born by the sea, and I know and appreciate seafood very well. I happened upon Rosa dei Venti one weekday in early May and was fortunate enough to chat with the owners, Berna and Lucio. As soon as I saw their eyes light up when they explained the menu and their story, I immediately knew I was in good hands, and I let them do the rest. From the first courses, I sensed the quality of the ingredients (locally sourced), the attention to detail, and the unexpected, never banal pairings. These aren't experiments in nouvelle cuisine, which often please the eye rather than the stomach, but quality and tradition presented in an original way. Among my favorites, besides the appetizers (delicious surprises I won't spoil), are the pasta with scorpionfish, lemon from their garden, and the toasted bread... so delicate! Then the shrimp... the crudités... the potato-crusted cod... the fried foods (the surici were tops!)... And then finishing with Berna's desserts and their own fennel and black cherries... Amazing! There were three of us, and even though we gorged ourselves, there was no weight on our stomachs, we slept very well: quality pays off. All this for a price less than €15-20 compared to the average restaurant in Trieste.... My only regret... is that they are unfortunately too far away :-) I hope to return someday...
