11/08/2026: We met at this place for lunch. They got everything wrong, if not more. In fact, I'd like to correct myself, they served the still water correctly. We ordered two first courses: gnocchi with courgettes and shrimp and gnocchi allo scoglio (seafood gnocchi), and two fried dishes: one with shrimp, calamari, octopus, and battered vegetables, the other a chef's mix, which, upon asking, was explained to us as having a few anchovies and a mix of other fish, again with battered vegetables. This forced us to skip the side dishes. We reached almost two hours of waiting, and meanwhile, we saw more tables arrive after us. Every now and then, the waiter would tell us they'd be ready in five minutes, which was obviously not true and was making us impatient. After a long time, the first courses arrived, and instead of fish in the gnocchi, there was a piece of meat with sauce. We were obviously very hungry, so we ate and moved on. Meanwhile, no supervision was available; the children were playing everywhere, and one of them, who, if I'm not mistaken, is the owner's daughter, played and dropped a slipper on our table while we were eating. After another half hour, the fried food arrives. There's not even a hint of calamari, shrimp, octopus, or vegetables. Two identical plates, almost exclusively anchovies. Which, by the way, we're not crazy about. Obviously, it was unbearable, so we got up and left. For the record, at least they didn't include the fried food in the bill. Absolutely, avoid if you're in the area.

10/08/2026: The seaside location is excellent for warm evenings. Apart from that, the service is fast and very knowledgeable, and the food in general—fish, pizza, etc.—is very good quality. I advise the restaurant to always pay attention to the selection of mussels, which are delicate. Everything else is excellent value for money. I absolutely recommend it.

31/03/2026: We went for lunch a few days after reopening after the winter break. Only one other table in the dining room was occupied by a couple. Punctual service, an updated wine list, quality ingredients (top-notch peppers and French fries), and sincere cuisine, not grandmother-style but country aunt-style, although the truly remarkable ingredients probably deserve more care and attention in their preparation. In short, high expectations weren't fully met, but the rating was more than met. A well-kept and very characteristic location. The price was fair.

07/01/2026: Family-run trattoria. Everything was excellent. Even the rosé wine. The appetizers and first courses were excellent: trofie with chickpeas and fennel, frizzuli with chickpeas and sausage, and the second course was excellent.

02/08/2026: Good and tasty takeout. Sometimes too much salt added. The place is always busy, and being small, it's difficult to fit in with so many people. The staff work well and are kind and courteous to customers. I don't think they're delivering yet. I hope they do so soon. Highly recommended! See you soon, and thank you.

06/04/2026: A truly huge selection of first courses, second courses and side dishes, all of which are delicious. Then there are the menus that vary from the weekly one to the weekend one. I don't know if the complete menu for 5 euros still exists... I recommend Lasagna and seafood rice.

27/01/2026: Pizzeria Artigiana – rustic, welcoming, and unforgettable 🍕🇮🇹 A rustic pizzeria we won't soon forget. The ingredients were excellent, lovingly prepared, and simply delicious. Every pizza was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The service was incredibly friendly; you immediately feel welcome and well taken care of. The small restaurant has a very special charm and makes every visit a truly delightful experience. We were more than satisfied. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

04/09/2025: A very well-kept restaurant, with helpful, friendly, and courteous staff. Delicious food made with quality ingredients, generous appetizers, carefully prepared first courses, delicious pizzas, and spectacular second courses. A wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available. Spectacular location with a breathtaking view of the entire Catanzaro Lido. I highly recommend going there. I'll be back many times!

17/06/2026: This agriturismo is nestled in the quiet, greenery. It's a family-run business, typical of Calabria. It's warm, welcoming, and very professional. We were lucky enough to dine on the traditional pasta (vermicelli) made in-house by chef Pierre! A fantastic experience. Five stars!

06/04/2026: Even though it was Easter Monday, the owner managed to get us a lovely table in the sun with a sea view. The first courses were excellent, from the seafood spaghetti to the calamarata! The price was very fair!

18/07/2026: Discovered by chance during our vacation, it was a pleasant surprise. A beautiful place with outdoor seating, very close to the sea. The traditional menu of meat, fish, and pizza is truly delicious. Each dish is carefully prepared, and the service is excellent. You feel like you're being looked after, and every dish is meticulously prepared. The value for money is unbeatable. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and chef at the end of dinner, who told us the history of the place. We'll be back, and we recommend you do the same!

18/07/2026: 5 stars for "La Grigliata" Botricello! We tried the Capricciosa and the mixed fried fish on two different nights. Both times: top quality, excellent ingredients, and fast service. You rarely find pizza and fish this good in the same place. We'll be back!

28/06/2026: The first day, everything was fine. I had black garlic spaghetti, which was very good. Today, I ordered a takeout cereal trio with tuna, but when I got home, I found chicken even though I'd paid for tuna. I also had a fish burger with onion jam, which had maybe half a teaspoon, you could barely taste it. Too bad.
