Service was impeccable, we were served by a very charming young gentleman, he explained our dishes fully. Our early 20.00 booking was a little bit early, the ristorante is usually busier around 21.30, that's why the 4 score for atmosphere. 06/03/2025: I believe it is right for me to spend some of my time to share the experience I recently had for the sale of my property with the Toscano agency in Catanzaro. I would summarize everything with a brief summary in terms of timeliness, professionalism, management competence and results beyond all expectations. Being in possession of a point of comparison compared to other agencies in the cities and having gained previous experience with them, to date I can affirm that Toscano qualifies as the best. My property was sold in less than a single month and 900 km away, as I am currently outside the region. The agent Ivo Nisticó managed my property, immediately proving to be a professional in the sector, accommodating all my requests, with extreme courtesy, patience and old-fashioned good manners. Furthermore, Ivo pays particular attention and care towards the client, making himself available even outside of working hours, a very rare characteristic and related to the passion he shows for his work. Another note of merit of this reality goes to the head of the agency, namely Doctor Pizzuti, always present, friendly and decisive, a man with a strong empathy and who in my opinion fully covers his role of being a support, guide and example in the professional growth of the team of Toscano agents. 20/06/2025: The pizza is good and also the scrocchiarella, even if in my opinion there has been too much poetry made around it, I understand the peculiarity of the dough but it is focaccia, good but still focaccia. The size of a scrocchiarella is not well explained by the waiters, with the risk of ordering more than necessary. Everything is nice and clean, even the bathrooms. It is not very nice to see plastic tables and chairs in an environment that has a different character. The only flaw, and I want to hope it is a distraction error, the cover charge is indicated on the menu at 1 euro, while on the bill you pay 2! It's fine, just know it😀. Controversy aside, go there, it's worth it!

17/06/2025: I was at dinner, a plate of tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, truly exceptional. I would call it porcini with tagliatelle for the quantity of porcini mushrooms in the plate. High professionalism of the service.

22/03/2025: The Calabrian arancini were excellent, not too spicy and tasty. The Calabrian pizza, with the addition of chili peppers, was spicy to the right point. Honest prices and very good quality. I ate the pizza late at night and slept well, a sign that it is easily digestible.

The dishes are well-prepared, plentiful and also perfect for sharing. The quality of the fish is evident from the first taste: clean, fresh and well-enhanced flavours without excess. The service is quick and attentive, with courteous staff who immediately put you at ease. The location immersed in the countryside is another strong point: fresh, quiet, and perfect for a summer dinner away from the chaos. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, difficult to find elsewhere for this quality. Definitely a place to return to willingly!

04/06/2025: Very nice and welcoming place, the staff is very kind and it feels like being at home. From the outside it looks like a private villa, which initially fooled us a little! It has a lovely garden with wicker armchairs and sofas and cushions that you can see are hand embroidered. The interior is very welcoming and spacious. We ate fish... lots of small appetizers, a first course with tagliolini and second courses with fried food, mussels with pepper and mixed fish in soup. All excellent. If I have to make a comment, perhaps the pasta was a little too al dente, so much so that it almost seemed disconnected from the sauce.. but I think it's more than anything my personal taste. For the rest recommended!!

26/06/2025: Driving past it on the street, you wouldn't believe such a fantastic restaurant exists. We had a wonderful evening here, with the best meal we've had in ages! All the courses were exceptionally delicious and beautifully presented. The service was exemplary, and the prices were very reasonable. I'm a chef myself and have worked in Michelin-starred restaurants. I wouldn't give Canonici any Michelin stars, because they're not good enough! We will definitely be back. Thanks to the whole team 🥰

It is one of those rare places where the quality is always constant, indeed, in recent years it has been able to evolve and improve, especially in the kitchen, where creativity and attention to detail can be seen in every dish. The owner is a discreet but always attentive presence, capable of making every customer feel at home with great professionalism and courtesy. The dining room staff is equally impeccable: kind, knowledgeable and always available, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cuisine deserves a special mention: well-prepared dishes, balanced flavors and high-quality raw materials. You can clearly perceive the passion and desire to grow which have led to an important evolution over time, making each visit an ever new and pleasant experience. A true point of reference for those looking for good food, hospitality and passion. Highly recommended.
