02/05/2026: I visited Ristorante Maris, a historic establishment that has been around for over thirty years, and precisely for this reason, my expectations were quite high. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to the reputation it has built over time. The location is rather small, so much so that the terrace was needed to accommodate a larger number of customers. The service, while courteous, seemed sluggish at times; for example, drinks were served at an unsuitable temperature. Even on the culinary front, I would have expected something more, especially for a restaurant specializing in fish. The portions seemed rather small, and the dishes, overall, were less rich than one might expect from a place with such a long tradition. I recognize the restaurant's history and commitment, but I believe some aspects could be revised to offer an experience more in line with the expectations that a name like Maris inevitably generates.

23/08/2025: Good food, modest portions, 1970s-style terracotta terrace, ample parking. The end... Besides: The ordering process is a bit cumbersome. If you're sitting at a table and have quickly decided what to eat because you have to leave, you still have to wait for all the tables of 20 people who sat before you to complete their orders. A nice location for receptions and children's entertainment, well-known among locals, but I wouldn't exactly call it "on the sea," but more accurately "with a view of the beach and sea." Prices are average, the pizza is cheap, but overall, it's not in line with the competition and the area. Mentioning Heinz Beck on the menu is decidedly misleading and leaves one "astonished," to say the least. Disappointed by the wait. Not worth the trip or the stop. Everyone else can easily go and sit at the bar while waiting.

The house specialties, prepared with great attention to quality, are a must-try. The extremely friendly and always smiling staff make you feel at ease right away. The professionalism and organization of this small restaurant is incredible, as is its ability to efficiently handle so many guests, as is the kindness and helpfulness. The cuisine is excellent, very homemade. The ingredients are of the highest quality, from the always fresh salads to the cooked vegetables. The meatballs in tomato sauce and the pizzas are delicious. Kudos to the management. The prices are fair. I would gladly return. Although the cellar is cozy, it's limited.

09/11/2025: The croissants are undercooked (but that can happen). The problem is that the staff is very unfriendly, and on top of that, after we left, they charged us for an extra coffee and the croissant itself, which they changed for us. We'll never stop here again. Only the location is good.

08/04/2026: The cod morzello was truly excellent, flavorful, and carefully cooked. Also not to be missed are the classic pipi e patate, expertly prepared according to tradition. But the real surprise is the gluten-free arancini: divine! Large, tasty, and made with high-quality ingredients. The frying is impeccable: dry and not at all greasy. A rare and precious attention to gluten-free. Highly recommended!

13/12/2025: A family-run, vintage-style trattoria. Ugo's wife and daughter, who work in the dining room, welcomed us with great kindness and courtesy. I met Ugo, the chef. He's a genuine person, kind-hearted and very polite. I complimented him on his kindness when I called for information and a reservation. She's very professional and patient with our orders. His daughter also made the same pasta, was kind, and accommodated our every request. There was nothing to complain about regarding the quality of the food. It felt like eating at home, and the photos of the dishes speak for themselves. Highly recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟

01/12/2025: I recommend this trattoria to campers; I went to try it because it specializes in cod. The atmosphere is very simple, with a bar counter that feels like an old inn. I tried the spaghetti with cod, which was very good and delicate, then the fried cod with potatoes, peppers, and olives. I didn't see any olives, but the peppers were very good. Overall, I was very satisfied with what I ate; you can taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion. The staff was very kind and helpful. The bathrooms were neat and clean. If I'm ever in this area again, I'll definitely come back.

20/11/2025: Very tasty. Nice atmosphere. The pizza is delicious and the meat is very tasty. There are desserts too, but for some reason they're not on the menu. The place is not cheap.

05/09/2025: Highly recommended. The pizza is easy to digest and the pizza dough appetizers are delicious! (Gianpaolo, the pizza chef, is a guarantee!) The meat and fish dishes are also excellent. Excellent value. The staff is very kind and welcoming 😊

08/10/2025: Dinner was an amazing experience. It was a set tasting menu. Antipasto consisted of at least 7 items, a variety from sea and land. The pasta and seafood secondo were delicious. The wine that was recommended was also delicious and paired well with the meal. The decor is so quaint. The restaurant is actually an old storage room "Catoja" where wine, cheese, salami, etc were stored before refrigerators. The tablecloths were hand crocheted. We requested local music and they were happy to oblige. It was my birthday and our server went to the trouble of putting a candle ony dessert. We would not hesitate to return.

10/09/2025: I've been away for quite some time, but last night I had the pleasure of returning. A pleasant late-summer evening, the pizza was superb, even the fried foods. Fantastic location, very well-maintained, and the rooms were even larger and more comfortable. The only downside of the evening, unfortunately, was the lack of communication between the dining room and the pizzeria regarding orders. While we were quietly enjoying our appetizer, the pizza arrived. Truly unpleasant. We had it left on the table anyway, but by the time we ate it, it had gone cold. I should point out that there was no confusion, especially considering it was a late-summer evening.

03/05/2026: Traveling coast to coast, we stopped at this agriturismo with very high expectations for the food based on the reviews. The location is definitely beautiful, the rooms are clean. A true agriturismo, they serve only their own food. Be warned, though: the dinner wasn't particularly generous and lacked a wide variety. Nothing special, but it fell short of our expectations. We started with a first course of homemade pasta with tomato sauce—the homemade pasta was definitely appreciated. After that, we had a second course of a tiny slice of pork and salad, with no other meat available. Luckily, some of their homemade cured meats arrived later. Mr. Antonio kept us company all evening, which was certainly appreciated. Pier, for us, was the best. Perhaps our expectations were too high, and we were a bit disappointed. The lady only smiled at us when we left. Generally speaking, if you're passing by, stop by; the price is a bit high for what's on offer, so lower your expectations.

05/04/2026: Truly a great place. A true agriturismo with home-grown produce. The food is excellent, and the family who runs it is truly friendly and helpful. The prices are super fair.
