10/05/2026: You always go back to places where you've had a good time. We returned exactly a year later for our wedding anniversary... the welcome and attentive service... the fish was very fresh and delicious... highly recommended!!!

20/04/2026: Let me start by saying this happened two years ago. I'd been following the restaurant's page for a few months, and I'd been anticipating dinner since Milan. I booked a few days ago and can't wait. Expectations are high! The day of the dinner arrives, and we're excited. We're already fantasizing about the place, the table we'll be assigned, the atmosphere. Of course, the threatening clouds don't help... We arrive, and the place is fantastic; we're overjoyed. The view is spectacular, the decor, and the background music make it all truly enchanting. Furthermore, the room is really small, for just a few intimate guests. The waiter welcomes us, and I can tell by his expression that something's wrong. He suggests, "While you wait, would you like a prosecco? Take a stroll on the terrace and take some photos." Meanwhile, I see him running to join the other waiters; they're talking and looking at us. The owner arrives, a very nice man. He asks me to move my car and leave it on the street, as beyond the gate is an apartment building. In fact, I think it qualifies as a home restaurant. Okay, I'm going to move the car. I come back and see the deeply disappointed and slightly angry faces of my companion and our guest. Meanwhile, they're holding the prosecco, but I'm not getting anything. I ask and they tell me the table isn't available and we have to leave. How come??? I've been eagerly awaiting this evening for months, booked about a month ago, and now that I'm here I have to leave??? After booking and asking for confirmation, do I have to leave??? The owner approaches and, jokingly, as if to defuse the situation, tells us that the weather on the Strait is unpredictable and that a storm wasn't forecast, which, meanwhile, is raging. He informs us that he has no room and that he's been making calls to inform people not to come. My number, despite the confirmation call two days earlier and numerous messages even two weeks ago, hasn't been found???! This leaves me speechless! He laughs, jokes, tries to defuse the situation, but we are truly astonished! This is not how you behave! If you don't find my number, go back and call other customers whose numbers you have, and secure my table (there were two tables set for four). And, really funny, you don't make me move my car in the rain only to be told to leave because there's no table. A 60-year-old aunt was with us and she expected everything, but not that we had to make a reservation elsewhere at 9:00 PM! I've never had anything like this happen to me! Never!!! I find it all absurd and incredibly unprofessional. I'm sorry, but this is our experience, terrible! Will I go back? I think it's right to give everyone a second chance. Of course, I'll call even half an hour before going.

22/01/2026: Beautiful ambiance; I personally found the place truly peaceful, thanks in part to the much-appreciated classical music in the background. The appetizer was rich and tasty; the addition of grapes to complement the flavors of the cured meats and cheeses was much appreciated. The truffle carbonara was a bit salty, but still delicious and creamy. Fair prices! I would definitely return! Thanks to Francesco, who welcomes guests with warmth and professionalism.

25/01/2026: My family and I arrived in Nicotera Marina from Argentina to visit the town where my father, Jose Di Giorgio, was born. We stayed at the Hotel Nautilus and received a warm welcome from Tonino. We were given a beautiful and comfortable room. We enjoyed breakfasts with delicious coffees and fruit juices. For dinner, we savored typical regional dishes: swordfish, seafood, and fresh fish, all expertly prepared! It was an excellent stay, discovering a beautiful town with stunning beaches and breathtaking sunsets. I highly recommend the hotel and hope to return. Thank you, Tonino and his staff, for your hospitality and service; we felt right at home. Best regards!

30/04/2026: Disappointing! On Thursday evening, the day before the holiday, there was nothing to eat in the food menu... no chips, no sandwiches, no tramezzini. Let's hope the aperitif offered is at least satisfying. You've almost left yourselves in the lurch...

30/04/2026: One of the best ice cream shops in Calabria: top-quality products, a variety of flavors that will leave even the most hesitant tastebuds reeling, and a staff and owner who are exceptionally kind. Here, the ice cream isn't just delicious... it's a true experience.

02/11/2025: Best coffee in the area. Organic, beans that aren't burnt or oily, filter cleaned after each coffee by running water, perfect pouring with a rattail thread, no residue in the cup, technically perfect barista and always very friendly. Top.

01/09/2025: My partner and I are more than passionate about ice cream. We have tried the best, from the north to the south of this land, even in the most remote areas. Without a doubt, Paradise ice cream is ranked first among the best ice creams in Calabria. There are many reasons to make this choice. The flavors aren't very many. Don't expect to find Kinder Bueno and by-products, which now only taste of sugar, and you can no longer distinguish chocolate from hazelnut. Instead, you will find traditional flavors: exceptional pistachio, chocolate, with an even creamier, nuttier recipe, a mega-delicious black cherry variegated chocolate, coffee, or dark chocolate with an excellent structure, and some new flavors that always draw on the products of the southern lands, or citron, strawberry made with fresh fruit. Add to all this, a fair quality-price ratio, the courtesy of the owners, and last but not least, impeccable cleanliness. It has now become my regular stop, but I would also travel 50 km on the pretext of taking a walk along the Paola seafront, visiting the sanctuary and go and enjoy a "paradisiacal" ice cream

13/08/2025: We ate better here than at the more popular places around Calabria. Any recommendations? We had excellent fish: mussels, linguine with mussels and clams, and fried calamari and small fish. The service was excellent and fast. The prices were more than fair. I highly recommend it!

27/07/2025: I went to Free Poke and loved the interior: everything is Hawaiian-style, colorful and well-kept, truly beautiful. The staff was very friendly, especially one really nice lady, I think she was the owner. You can choose between medium and large poke, but some ingredients cost a small extra. I thought the medium poke would be a little more generous, as is often the case at other poke joints, but overall it was good. Both the white and black rice were cooked perfectly. All in all, a good dining experience 🌺🍚🥢
