08/07/2026: We entered the place to go inside, and halfway through, I heard a guy behind me at the bar/cash register say, "No, but not with sand on your feet" (or something similar), which wasn't referring to us. As we sat down, they kind of invited us to get up because you can't come in wet (we weren't wet at all). Of course, we left... saying we had sand on our feet is fine, but if we really have to point out details, then we should definitely pretend to be waiters, who usually make unpleasant, almost sexually explicit jokes. For us, the impression is negative.

13/08/2025: We ate better here than at the more popular places around Calabria. Any recommendations? We had excellent fish: mussels, linguine with mussels and clams, and fried calamari and small fish. The service was excellent and fast. The prices were more than fair. I highly recommend it!

28/06/2026: I'll start by saying that I know this pizzeria; it makes good pizza (when it's not crowded), but this evening we were once again shown the lack of attention and professionalism in taking orders. Aside from the long wait—about 1 hour and 20 minutes for the pizza, which ultimately arrived with the wrong parmesan shavings (having specified a milk protein allergy). It's happened to us in the past, but I don't think we'll ever return, especially considering the lack of attention to ensuring we don't leave. In fact, they even charged us a €2 cover charge each. I recommend reviewing your organization.

15/06/2026: During my stay in Lamezia Terme, I had the pleasure of dining at Desìo Fucina di Gusto, and I must say that I rarely find a pizza of this caliber. As the founder of Civico 25 and someone who works in the restaurant business every day, I pay close attention to the quality of the dough, the ingredients, and the care taken in the final product. At Desìo, I found an extraordinarily light, well-leavened, fragrant, and flavorful pizza, the result of meticulous preparation and great professionalism. I can honestly say that few pizzerias in the area achieve this level of quality. It's not just about the pizza, but about passion, research, and respect for the customer. You can clearly sense the love that goes into every detail, from the welcome to the service, down to the last bite. Congratulations to all the staff for their hard work every day. When quality, dedication, and passion come together, the result can only be this: one of the best gastronomic experiences I've had in Lamezia Terme. 03/05/2026: I think this restaurant has immense potential. For many reasons. It has a fantastic view and a brilliant chef. The fish was incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked. I particularly enjoyed the first courses and the mixed fried fish. The appetizer and house wine, in my opinion, need to be revisited. I was pleased to note that the bread was excellent and fresh, even though it was Sunday, which is quite a feat. The place doesn't quite live up to my aesthetic tastes, and I think it deserves a general overhaul and a different look. My compliments, however, are the courtesy and the value for money. See you next time.

08/04/2026: A get-together with friends over a pizza and a beer... what can I say? The food is good, with excellent appetizers. The pizza is the classic thin crust, without the gourmet touch for those who like it. Excellent service, fair prices. We'll definitely be back.

22/03/2026: I visited this restaurant and had a great experience. I started with a carpaccio appetizer, featuring fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and generous portions—perfect for a meal. For my second course, I chose a sliced ​​beef with porcini mushrooms, truly exquisitely executed: tender, juicy meat, perfectly cooked, and fragrant porcini mushrooms that added a rich, enveloping flavor. The dish was rounded out with a side of crispy, dry French fries, fried to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere welcoming, and the wait times more than reasonable. Overall, a place where you eat well and where I would gladly return to try the rest of the menu.

Personally, I would have liked a little more spiciness, but that's a matter of taste and doesn't detract from the quality of the product. It's classic comfort food done right: the kind that truly satisfies you and makes you want to come back. One of the things I appreciate most is the ability to create your own burger exactly how you like it, choosing the weight of the meat and adding all your favorite ingredients. It's a concept that truly satisfies every palate. We'll definitely be back sooner or later to try the grilled meat: seeing the cuts displayed in the blast chiller is truly mouth-watering! The place is small, colorful, and very unique, with an atmosphere reminiscent of typical Cuban fare. The staff is always friendly, smiling, and helpful, which makes every visit even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place to lovers of good meat!

Simply divine food, all homemade by the hands of a chef who prepares what she cooks for her customers for her family with love and her husband, the owner of the butcher shop where the available meats are cut on the spot. I will return to this fantastic experience not for work but for the joy of being able to taste those authentic flavors again and the wonder of feeling like I'm in a wonderful home. 16/06/2026: In the heart of Cosenza, one of the few Calabrian restaurants I know that offers exceptional quality from every angle. A highly refined menu, expertly blending Tuscan elements with authentic Calabrian (Cosenza) traditions, for a simply breathtaking blend of flavors. All accompanied by a selection of top-quality wines and spirits, and exceptional service (let me tell you the funny story behind the restaurant's name). Homemade pasta topped with the best the region has to offer, top-quality ingredients, and modern combinations of classic elements from popular cuisines: an extraordinary experience, and a value for money that, for me (who lives in Milan), is simply unbelievable. It clearly doesn't market itself as a restaurant for tourists, and this is evident in the select clientele and the deliberately simple yet elegant ambiance. I'll try to return whenever I'm in Cosenza.
