16/09/2025: A beautiful B&B. But only for those who can climb stairs easily and have no problems. It's located in the center of town and only accessible on foot. Excellent breakfast, though the restaurant is closing in September. Fortunately, there are other restaurants nearby. Definitely recommended if you can walk well.

09/07/2026: This is a family-run restaurant nestled in the greenery of the Rende countryside. The rustic atmosphere is in keeping with its description, a nod to its origins and tradition. The highlight is undoubtedly the food and the ingredients, all locally sourced. Typical local cuisine, generous portions. During my last visit, we ordered the rich and varied mixed antipasto, and the mixed grill of meat and French fries. The prices are fair. The well-kept animal pen and chicken coop in the back are a lovely sight.

28/09/2025: Not easy to get to without a car. The house antipasto with their own cured meats and cheeses was truly excellent, and the first courses were phenomenal! Highly recommended! The staff were friendly and helpful!

12/09/2025: We had dinner at the farm, excellent homemade cuisine using their own produce. The 'nduja was delicious, spicy but not too spicy; we even bought 10 jars. The homemade pasta and lamb were delicious, very tender. Generous portions. Everything was delicious.

16/06/2026: We had a lovely dinner here. The octopus salad and tuna carpaccio were very tasty, although a few pieces were slightly frozen. Sea urchins were not available, but alternatives were suggested. The swordfish was delicious, but the plate felt a bit empty and could use more vegetables instead of just thin carrot slices.

03/05/2026: The most authentic experience in Calabria you will find. The agriturismo Ritorto is beautiful, they have their own food production and will put on the table most of their products. Starters were amazing, rich of flavours and tastes, pasta with goat meat was delicious as well as their liqueurs. Thank you for your great hospitality!

07/05/2026: Arriving here as part of a group, and seeing the abandoned buildings in the neighborhood, and its location immediately adjacent to a busy highway, my expectations were low. Having a Grimbergen on tap and a delicious dinner raised them a bit. Then these were dashed the next morning when breakfast was only bread and coffee. No fruit. And there were a total of six yogurts for two groups totaling 60 people. So, f you’re like me and like to have a coffee first before eating, you were SOL on any protein. The rooms were amply sized, and the mini split provided enough white noise to erase much of the traffic noise, and ear plug eliminated the rest. I’d have raised my rating one star if breakfast had been even ok. The hotel knew weeks in advance about the two groups staying, and it’s their responsibility to ensure adequate food for the guests.

21/02/2026: The owner was kind and welcoming. The room was large, well-heated, and clean. The breakfast was generous with a wide selection of dishes.

08/07/2026: We entered the place to go inside, and halfway through, I heard a guy behind me at the bar/cash register say, "No, but not with sand on your feet" (or something similar), which wasn't referring to us. As we sat down, they kind of invited us to get up because you can't come in wet (we weren't wet at all). Of course, we left... saying we had sand on our feet is fine, but if we really have to point out details, then we should definitely pretend to be waiters, who usually make unpleasant, almost sexually explicit jokes. For us, the impression is negative.

05/01/2026: Newly renovated restaurant. Very kind and friendly staff. Very crispy supplì, fried well and without oil. I highly recommend the lasagna one, but the corte d'assise and pumpkin ones weren't very creamy on the inside. The sandwiches are good, with good quality ingredients and compositions. A little to complain about the Smash, as the burger wasn't smashed well. The homemade bun was truly excellent.

The food is divine, and the quality of the ingredients is undeniable from start to finish. The appetizers are delicious, carefully crafted, and prepared with the freshest ingredients. The pizza is simply exceptional! Light, easy-to-digest dough, and enhanced with top-quality ingredients and combinations that truly make the difference. The service is attentive, and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommended!
