07/06/2026: My husband and I had dinner on Sunday evening. We shared an appetizer from the apothecary, which allowed us to try a bit of everything (cured meats, cheeses, meatballs, olives, and some really good beans!), then I ordered the dish of the day (pasta with snails and 'nduja), and he ordered the caserecce pasta with capocollo and fennel. Generous portions, both pastas were very flavorful and rich, with truly excellent ingredients. To finish, a fresh lemon sorbet. With a bottle of water and a quart of red wine to round it all out, we spent €45, definitely satisfied given the quality (and quantity) of the dishes. The various meat-based main courses also looked very interesting, given the high demand from other diners. We hope to have the opportunity to return soon to try them! The wait staff was kind and courteous, the atmosphere was unique and old-fashioned. Well done, keep it up!

08/05/2026: What a hidden gem. Everything was perfect. Waitress was very helpful and had no rush. Food was so tasteful. Room was very nicely decorated. And prices very reasonable. No Michelin bling, but honest hospitality and great food. Just what we was looking for. This was a great recommendation from our host.

08/07/2026: We entered the place to go inside, and halfway through, I heard a guy behind me at the bar/cash register say, "No, but not with sand on your feet" (or something similar), which wasn't referring to us. As we sat down, they kind of invited us to get up because you can't come in wet (we weren't wet at all). Of course, we left... saying we had sand on our feet is fine, but if we really have to point out details, then we should definitely pretend to be waiters, who usually make unpleasant, almost sexually explicit jokes. For us, the impression is negative.

28/06/2026: I'll start by saying that I know this pizzeria; it makes good pizza (when it's not crowded), but this evening we were once again shown the lack of attention and professionalism in taking orders. Aside from the long wait—about 1 hour and 20 minutes for the pizza, which ultimately arrived with the wrong parmesan shavings (having specified a milk protein allergy). It's happened to us in the past, but I don't think we'll ever return, especially considering the lack of attention to ensuring we don't leave. In fact, they even charged us a €2 cover charge each. I recommend reviewing your organization.

15/06/2026: During my stay in Lamezia Terme, I had the pleasure of dining at Desìo Fucina di Gusto, and I must say that I rarely find a pizza of this caliber. As the founder of Civico 25 and someone who works in the restaurant business every day, I pay close attention to the quality of the dough, the ingredients, and the care taken in the final product. For my second course, I chose a sliced ​​beef with porcini mushrooms, truly exquisitely executed: tender, juicy meat, perfectly cooked, and fragrant porcini mushrooms that added a rich, enveloping flavor. The dish was rounded out with a side of crispy, dry French fries, fried to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere welcoming, and the wait times more than reasonable. Overall, a place where you eat well and where I would gladly return to try the rest of the menu.

It's a concept that truly satisfies every palate. We'll definitely be back sooner or later to try the grilled meat: seeing the cuts displayed in the blast chiller is truly mouth-watering! The place is small, colorful, and very unique, with an atmosphere reminiscent of typical Cuban fare. The staff is always friendly, smiling, and helpful, which makes every visit even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place to lovers of good meat!

Simply divine food, all homemade by the hands of a chef who prepares what she cooks for her customers for her family with love and her husband, the owner of the butcher shop where the available meats are cut on the spot.
