28/06/2026: A beautiful historic building in the center of Gerace. The room was spacious, but the air conditioning had some issues that made our stay uncomfortable. The breakfast was good, and the garden restaurant deserves a special mention. Not only was the location stunning, but the food and service were truly excellent.

11/07/2026: A welcoming place with very friendly, kind, and attentive staff. Every time I've been, they've always been very quick, so I didn't have to wait hours before trying something. The pizza dough is easy to digest, and the combinations are always spot-on and never boring. Above all, they consistently respect seasonality. Highly recommended, especially because it's one of the best places in the area for value.

17/06/2026: I appreciate the precision: Eridania granulated sugar. Good thing you specified it, otherwise I would have thought it was sugar from a remote Himalayan plantation, hand-harvested by Tibetan monks. Next time, please also include the brand of flour, oil, and perhaps the name of the hen that laid the eggs. Actually, no, you're already doing that. Because for 7 fried balls for €5.50, the description seems decidedly more elaborate than the product. At this point, for pizzas, I would also suggest: "golden egg yolk from Sila hens raised outdoors in the organic farmer's garden under the setting sun." A perfectly ordinary product, a description worthy of a documentary. A little less marketing and a little more substance wouldn't hurt.

13/08/2025: We ate better here than at the more popular places around Calabria. Any recommendations? We had excellent fish: mussels, linguine with mussels and clams, and fried calamari and small fish. The service was excellent and fast. The prices were more than fair. I highly recommend it!

28/06/2026: I'll start by saying that I know this pizzeria; it makes good pizza (when it's not crowded), but this evening we were once again shown the lack of attention and professionalism in taking orders. Aside from the long wait—about 1 hour and 20 minutes for the pizza, which ultimately arrived with the wrong parmesan shavings (having specified a milk protein allergy). It's happened to us in the past, but I don't think we'll ever return, especially considering the lack of attention to ensuring we don't leave. In fact, they even charged us a €2 cover charge each. I recommend reviewing your organization.

15/06/2026: During my stay in Lamezia Terme, I had the pleasure of dining at Desìo Fucina di Gusto, and I must say that I rarely find a pizza of this caliber. As the founder of Civico 25 and someone who works in the restaurant business every day, I pay close attention to the quality of the dough, the ingredients, and the care taken in the final product. At Desìo, I found an extraordinarily light, well-leavened, fragrant, and flavorful pizza, the result of meticulous preparation and great professionalism. I can honestly say that few pizzerias in the area achieve this level of quality. It's not just about the pizza, but about passion, research, and respect for the customer. You can clearly sense the love that goes into every detail, from the welcome to the service, down to the last bite. Congratulations to all the staff for their hard work every day. When quality, dedication, and passion come together, the result can only be this: one of the best gastronomic experiences I've had in Lamezia Terme. 03/08/2026: We went for lunch after visiting the Catholic church without a reservation. The atmosphere was welcoming and clean. We ate well: the appetizers were plentiful and delicious, and the fried food was freshly prepared, hot, and dry. The wine was excellent, as was the first course: homemade pasta with goat sauce. Since there were two of us, the owner asked us if we wanted to sit with other travelers. I must admit, it was a great idea; it was a lunch with friendly people.

09/07/2026: This is a family-run restaurant nestled in the greenery of the Rende countryside. The rustic atmosphere is in keeping with its description, a nod to its origins and tradition. The highlight is undoubtedly the food and the ingredients, all locally sourced. Typical local cuisine, generous portions. During my last visit, we ordered the rich and varied mixed antipasto, and the mixed grill of meat and French fries. The prices are fair. The well-kept animal pen and chicken coop in the back are a lovely sight.

06/06/2026: I spent a wonderful evening with my friends celebrating my brother's graduation. An unforgettable evening, with well-prepared food, homemade dishes, and excellent wine. An experience to repeat 🌞
