17/08/2025: My favorite place when I visit Calabria! Not only is the food quality top-notch, but the products are locally sourced. The vegetables are from their garden, even the pickles, and the cuisine is authentic and truly delicious! For me, it's like eating at Grandma's! The service is excellent. If you want to eat Calabrian specialties, you've come to the right place! Excellent value for money!

28/09/2025: A true tribute to good taste in Cosenza. While searching for the best cocktail bars in Cosenza through local reviews, I discovered this hidden gem that Francesco, after traveling and working as a bartender in top spots in London and Australia, decided to create in his hometown. Local liquors and ingredients, dim lighting, calming decor, and cocktails that left us speechless. Some of the best we've ever tried. Looking forward to returning to Cosenza and visiting him again.

31/10/2025: Unfortunately, what I ate wasn't to my liking. I was looking for a stuffed pasta, but it was all frozen. The same goes for the desserts. I don't recommend them.

30/10/2025: I'm always impressed by the price and quality. The quality is much better than tourist standards for Italian food. Great prices, even for fresh lobster (€20), but you can also get pizza for €4.50. I really like the chef; I have a vacation home there.

29/10/2025: I don't often write restaurant reviews, but we had the best meal of our holiday here – almost fine dining, and at very reasonable prices. The historic building is truly a gem among Scilla's already beautiful architecture, and dining on the airy terrace overlooking the sea is particularly lovely. But what really made the evening special was the incredibly warm and welcoming sommelier, who guided us through the evening with charm and humor and clearly knows his stuff – even if you only order a single wine by the glass! Thank you for a wonderful last evening in Calabria. We'll be back!

24/10/2025: On our walk through the beautiful Chianalea neighborhood, we discovered this restaurant. It can be a bit annoying to climb a long staircase to reach the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea, but the effort is worth it because the views from there are magnificent. The entire restaurant is tastefully decorated. This carefully curated setting helped us achieve a very high level of gastronomic pleasure. We found the swordfish steaks to be very well seasoned and full of flavor. The tomato and burrata salad was a perfect accompaniment. The tomatoes tasted real, which is hard to find. Pizzo's truffle was perfectly cooked: we thought it was delicious. We paired the meal with a very smooth Greco Calabrian white wine. Both the maitre d' and the rest of the staff were impeccable in their work.

31/10/2025: The sandwich of the month is excellent, the service is always prompt and available, the location is perhaps a little small and with too many tables but at the end of October it doesn't cause any inconvenience.

04/10/2025: A simple restaurant with excellent country-style cuisine. All the mushroom dishes were excellent (the porcini carpaccio was particularly good). It was a unique experience for us. It's a great base for hikes.

01/10/2025: Excellent food. Tasty dishes made with local ingredients (the mushrooms are excellent: the salad of ovule mushrooms and the lightly fried porcini mushrooms). Homemade tagliatelle with crumbled sausage, and a tasty, well-aged grilled meat. The wine list is varied, strictly Calabrian, and reasonably priced for its quality. The kitchen is open to the public, and the dining room is clean and tidy. Excellent service. We'd definitely return in good weather, especially for the stunning setting surrounding Mount Covello.

07/11/2025: Our go-to gelato shop. An endless selection of flavors to suit all tastes. For those with intolerances and diabetes, they can accommodate all your needs. You'll find the best gelato only here. We've been enjoying their gelato for years and it's never disappointed.

25/10/2025: The place is certainly beautiful.....but in all of Calabria I had never paid 4 euros for a granita without a brioche to go.

16/09/2025: Always a guarantee when it comes to granitas and pastries in general. The welcome, however, is a bit questionable. The owners are completely indifferent, busy playing on their phones or chatting with other people while you're sitting, waiting longer than necessary, with tables to clear, and waiters busy at the counter. It's a shame.
