01/10/2024: It's not good. I went in to get a granita and what they gave me was €3 and ONE scoop of ice cream not even equivalent to half a plastic cup. I hate it when in Amantea if they don't see you as a local, they make fun of you like that.

16/05/2025: Het verzorgde interieur schept verwachtingen. Heel stijlvol vergeleken met soortgelijke restaurants. De verwachtingen werden volledig waar gemaakt. Heerlijk eten. We hadden geen grote honger dus geen pizza maar twee kleine gerechtjes. Beiden uiterst smaakvol. Hele prettige, ongedwongen maar vriendelijke bediening.

30/04/2025: Buona pizza, ottimo servizio. Prezzi leggermente sopra la media. Menù molto vario e completo per soddisfare tutti i gusti.

13/04/2025: Abbiamo chiesto 2 tagliate di picanha con cottura media accompagnato da patate al forno, la cameriera mi ha detto che non poteva farla media ma solo al sangue, dopo più di 30 minuti è arrivato il tutto completamente freddo chiediamo di rifarla, dopo altri 10 minuti è tornato tutto indietro senza sapere quale delle 2 era la mia figurate che hanno messo tutto in forno con tutto il piatto. Morale della favola? Da chiesta cottura media portata al sangue dopo riscaldata era completamente bruciata. Forse era meglio fredda 😂

25/04/2025: È un Ristorante sobrio, elegante e di qualità! Personale cordiale e capace. I Piatti degustati sono buoni, con particolare riferimento agli antipasti ed ai primi piatti. Le fritture di pesce, forse sarebbero da migliorare, non tanto per la qualità del pesce, ma per l'olio eccessivo che rimane nell'incarto presente nel piatto. La scelta dei Vini è sufficiente. La cucina è a vista (parziale) ed anche con il locale pieno, il personale lavora con serenità e professionalità. Si spendono tra le 60 e 70 € a persona se non si prende del Vino dal costo eccessivo (oltre 30€) Un plauso a tutto lo staff... Lo Consiglio!!

06/03/2025: Eccezionale ristorante di pesce, lo consiglio vivamente. Poi in sala c'è Stella che saprà sicuramente consigliarvi il vino giusto da abbinare alle meravigliose portate che l'Excalibur ha da offrire. Non dimenticate di concludere il pasto con un buonissimo gelato alla nocciola. Complimenti!!!

27/04/2025: Tardamos una hora en llegar, pero valió la pena el viaje. El único día que pudimos llegar fue el Lunes de Pascua y el restaurante nos aconsejó que tenían un menú fijo obligatorio ese día. Decidimos ir a por él y fueron lo suficientemente amables para agregar un filete florentino que es la razón específica por la que íbamos allí. Fue una gran experiencia gastronómica. La variedad de comida era muy buena y sabrosa. Gracias. El menú es solo UNO y es obligatorio Este es el menú: Inicio - preparados y carnes curadas Lasaña con ragú blanco cocido lentamente y champiñones porcini SEGUNDO Rica parrilla típica del Lunes de Pascua Acompañante verde POSTRES Pastiera Amargo/café 35 BEBIDAS EXCLUIDAS filete florentino Es extra, y el filete florentino comienzan desde 1 , 5 kg

04/06/2025: Quelli della pizza is a pizzeria located right at the beginning of Mendicino. It is a historic place opened since 1982. A place that has managed to update itself positively over the years. The location is very nice and spacious with seating mainly inside but, when the weather allows it, in the warmer months, also outside. Equipped with a parking lot that is not very well lit but very large. The menu is varied, in fact it offers a lot of choice. The pizza is typically Cosenza, low with a thin edge and well cooked, very good. The side dishes are also tasty. The price is right. I highly recommend this place to spend some nice time and eat an excellent pizza 😁🍕🍷

25/05/2025: From a tasting of cold cuts you expect to try various cold cuts instead they serve me four slices of one thing and four of another equal thing, and what kind of tasting is that? Then a cheese tasting 4 pieces of parmesan??? It doesn't seem like a cheese tasting with just one cheese, I was really disappointed

26/04/2025: I had dinner in this restaurant yesterday, during a stop in Castrovillari on my way back to Sicily. I can say that the dinner here was worth the stop in this country! We had the place to ourselves, except for one table which was occupied shortly before we left. We were pampered with the offer of sparkling wine and toasted almonds and taralli at the beginning, then they also brought us excellent toasted bread with 3 samples of different oils. We liked all the dishes we ordered (2 first courses, a second course and the Pizzo truffle for dessert). At the end of the meal they also gave us a small bottle of oil as we had really enjoyed the tastings! The environment is cared for down to the smallest detail and the waiters are very helpful in explaining the dishes in detail. A definitely recommended place for a pleasant meal at an excellent quality-price ratio.
