The food was really good, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I didn't give it a full 5 stars because, in my opinion, the portions were a bit small given the prices. However, I recommend it and would gladly return.

An excellent dinner in a small square sheltered from the chaotic center of Tropea.
A good appetizer (my companion only had that, mindful of Calabria's generous portions 😁) and an EXCELLENT fileja with sheep's milk ricotta and nduja. To finish, a fresh bergamot truffle that I highly recommend.
Extremely friendly service (kudos to the young man who waits on the tables, he's truly excellent, a true professional) and quick. It's a shame it was our last night, otherwise we would have returned to try something else.
The final bill was very fair. A worthwhile place.

This restaurant is located at the edge of the historic center, in a small, busy square. The terracotta-baked pasta dishes are very distinctive; the anchovy tartare stands out, as it's truly exceptional. Main courses are average, good, but nothing truly unique.

In the heart of Tropea's old town, a traditional restaurant serving freshly prepared dishes, offering a taste of traditional Calabrian cuisine: from handmade pasta (fileja) to 'nduja spread on bread, fritters with PGI onions (from Tropea, of course!), and fine wine. All served with warmth and discretion by a friendly and helpful young man.

Service is a bit slow, but the food is quite good. Outdoor tables under a large umbrella create a simple atmosphere. One complaint, however, was with the first courses: the toppings were practically nonexistent, but they were accompanied by a tomato sauce that wasn't even listed on the menu for either course. As a result, both the pasta with olives, capers, and onion (3 olives and 2 capers) and the one with eggplant and swordfish (4 pieces of swordfish and 5 eggplant) tasted like tomato and nothing more. The tuna, on the other hand, was very good.

The food is good, but perhaps the presentation of the grilled swordfish could use some updating.

My favorite place in Tropea. Not far from the tourist-heavy center. Traditional, high-quality cuisine, and Domenico is always ready to offer advice. Very good first courses with excellent tomato sauce. The tuna was delicious. The only tiny flaw is that I expected a little more from the appetizers. Efficient service.
Thanks also to Osman and his smile. We'll see you again.

The best restaurant in tropea, so good that we had to go back 2 days later. One of the best meals I have ever had in my life you could not ask for more, lovely pasta, unreal swordfish and the tuna steak was the best cut of fish I have ever eaten. Atmosphere was also amazing, playing great music and off the main strip so none of the classic tourist trap stuff. Could not recommend more to anyone visiting Tropea
