22/01/2026: Beautiful ambiance; I personally found the place truly peaceful, thanks in part to the much-appreciated classical music in the background. The appetizer was rich and tasty; the addition of grapes to complement the flavors of the cured meats and cheeses was much appreciated. The truffle carbonara was a bit salty, but still delicious and creamy. Fair prices! I would definitely return! Thanks to Francesco, who welcomes guests with warmth and professionalism.

28/09/2025: For me, the best gluten-free pizza! I've tried many gluten-free pizzas, but none compare to this pizzeria. It's the only one that truly reminds me of the authentic flavor of traditional pizza! Light dough, well-cooked, quality ingredients: it's a guarantee every time. For those with celiac disease or intolerances and looking for a real pizza, this is a must-try! Highly recommended!

10/12/2025: We stayed for the Immaculate Conception long weekend with a group of friends, and we have to say we had a great time! The staff were knowledgeable, the rooms were clean, the food was excellent, and the owner, Luca, was top-notch! And the entertainer, Luca, kept us entertained. Highly recommended, we'll be back. 03/12/2025: Beautiful place, our guide Luca was fantastic, excellent experience for both adults and children, the children were intrigued by Luca's stories and so were the adults. The meals were super abundant and high-quality and the atmosphere of the fireplace that envelops the relaxation room is magical, an experience shared with a group of friends and their respective families truly in total relaxation.

13/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant today. The welcome was perfect, and the owner was incredibly attentive. He pampered us by seating us in a more private and quiet room since we arrived with our sleeping baby. He then explained the menu and recommended dishes. We had a traditional appetizer, followed by onion soup and spaghetti with fish, followed by fried calamari and chips. Everything was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the owner's presence was a real pleasure. We're so happy to have discovered this highly recommended little place; we'll definitely be back.

09/10/2025: I stayed at the hotel for two nights with a friend and ate at the restaurant one evening. -The hotel is fantastic. It's in a fantastic location right in the heart of Tropea, and we were even lucky enough to have a small balcony overlooking the square. The breakfast was good, and the coffee was delicious. -The food was good. The enthusiastic owner gave us great recommendations for fresh food and treated us to local delicacies. 25/08/2025: Off the beaten path, you'll find authentic cuisine. Pizzeria Ristorante San Francesco offers just that: traditional Calabrian cuisine, as it should be. Following Google's info (thanks to reviewers), we found this place. There's no showy display designed to impress (the exterior doesn't attract tourists, but perhaps that's a good thing). But inside, the truth comes through: excellent ingredients will win you over. A few dishes, but enough to get to know the area, all homemade with home-grown vegetables (grown directly by the owners). The first courses are delicious, as are the appetizers, pizzas, and second courses. But even the wait before tasting excellent Fileja alla Norma or alla Calabrese is worth it. The flavor explodes in your mouth. Simple, yet genuine and sincere, flavors that are missing from the surrounding tourist restaurants. Added to this is a rare kindness and courtesy that make the dinner even more enjoyable and make you say: I'll be back again (which we did). If you have a car and want to experience the simplicity of Calabrian flavors, I recommend going there—it's really worth it. We've been back three times. Congratulations.

20/10/2025: A very nice pub/restaurant near the Reggio Calabria airport. A lovely discovery last winter, and every time I pass by, it's a must-try! The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the real highlight is the potatoes seasoned in various ways, which are a true delight! A unique dish, never tried before! A true specialty! Recommended.

11/08/2025: *A Must-Visit in Reggio Calabria* Stopped by this place and it totally impressed me. Cozy Irish pub vibe, wooden interiors, and walls full of unique details that make you want to look around. The food is outstanding — juicy burgers, amazing potatoes, and delicious cheeses and desserts. Everything pairs perfectly with their great beer selection. Service was friendly and fast, making the whole experience even better. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

15/12/2025: I returned to this place after a long time for an evening of live music with a rock band featuring a friend of mine, Elio. The food is always excellent, the service is fast, and the staff is really friendly. I really appreciated the personal contact compared to using apps or QR codes to order. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming: an ideal place to eat well, listen to good music, and hang out with friends. We'll definitely be back!
