12/06/2025: Peaceful dinner without confusion with friends. Excellent food based on fresh and tasty fish, the only shame is the cooking of the mezze maniche. The overcooked pasta ruined the dish that had some magnificent tuna chunks. Absolutely good prices

22/05/2025: Abbiamo cenato da Fabula gustando una meravigliosa pinsa, nostro figlio di 10 un fantastico panino ("il più buono che abbia mai mangiato"). Ambiente meraviglioso dove tutto il personale è accogliente da quando arrivi fino a quando ritorni la prossima volta 😁. Qualità e cura del servizio e cucina fantastica per tutte le circostanza. Veniamo spesso e torneremo sicuramente per la tranquillità e la serenità che si respira e per l'attenzione che hanno al cliente.

19/04/2025: Ritornato oggi per pranzo. Fermata obbligatoria quando vado sulla jonica. La semplicità delle pietanze e la grande qualità degli ingredienti uniti alla gentilezza della titolare ed al calore dell'ambiente fanno di questo ristorante una fermata obbligatoria per gli amanti della buona cucina. Ottimi anche i dessert e gli amari alle erbe ed al cioccolato preparati dal personale della casa.

03/04/2025: At the beginning of April on Thursday evening the gem Rende may be very quiet. The cuisine and service in the traditional restaurant are still in top form. We got very good quality. From antipasto to dessert. It was a wonderful evening.

12/06/2025: Never was a name more appropriate! It really seemed to me like I was back at a family dinner (at my mother-in-law's, my mother's, my grandmother's...), both for the fresh ingredients and for the cooking. The smell already when you enter the place is the typical one of our homes at lunch time. Very kind staff.

13/06/2025: My experience was pretty mediocre. I will start by saying that I had high expectations given the advertising and photos/videos on various social media and I was quite disappointed. There were 5 of us and we decided to stop on a Thursday night for a pizza, it was just us (which didn't surprise us too much since they probably work more on weekends), but we decided to sit down anyway since we were hungry (especially the kids) and we didn't care if there were people or not. Our pizzas definitely had high quality ingredients, but the dough was quite raw. Three of the pizzas we ordered were without mozzarella, but my ortolana arrived classic with mozzarella on top even though I'm sure I specified that I wanted it without. This mistake can happen and it happened to me frequently in other pizzerias (even though they were usually more crowded and it was more understandable), so I pointed it out to one of the waiters, but I told her that I could still eat it and remove the mozzarella myself since I preferred not to have it redone and wait for another pizza. She insisted on having it redone and took it away, but shortly after the same waiter who had taken the order brought me the same pizza again, reiterating that he had taken the order with mozzarella and that he had not made a mistake and leaving almost irritated. Honestly, I was more upset by the lack of professionalism of the service than by the pizza itself, even if the cooking of the pizza really needs revising. That said, this was my experience that evening and I hope for their sake that it was an isolated case, due to the fact that it was a Thursday and that we were the only customers.

20/06/2025: We went to La Torre Vecchia for lunch. The pasta with fish and the fish platter were delicious. The starter (crudo with buffalo mozzarella) was nothing special. The restaurant is simple but has a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. The prices were a bit more expensive than other nearby restaurants, but still reasonable.

07/03/2025: There are a few nice views and lots of beautiful and probably not entirely poor people to admire in this harbor. It's best to walk a little further outside the village, because afterwards there's a worthwhile, deserted beach.
