28/05/2025: A truly suggestive place that presents itself on the market in a decidedly different way compared to the competition. The room is really beautiful, you also have to book online 3 days in advance (not one more, not one less). Upon arrival, it feels like being in a video game museum, but the immersive experience has just begun. As soon as we sit down, the inevitable QR makes us immerse ourselves again in a new chapter of Super Mario, with a menu that recalls exactly the original and also mini themed games on their website to while away the wait. Personalized cocktails and cocktails of the day (for those who want). After ordering an appetizer and pizza, we are strongly suggested (if not almost forced) to order dessert immediately as well. And we notice the same thing at all the tables. I can't deny that this bothers me a little: maximum yield is fine; but I think this is really too much. We order two appetizers and 3 pizzas (there are 2 of us). The service is very fast, perhaps too fast to allow us to fully enjoy the pizza. Furthermore, everything is very fast, and this strategy is imposed by the restaurant that strictly asks to make a single order that includes everything. When eating, it almost seems like an all you can eat, and this is definitely limiting. There is really nothing to say about the pizzas, the leavening is excellent, digestibility excellent and conviviality at the highest levels. In terms of atmosphere, however, there is a lot of work to do because dinner must be a pleasure and should not be based on speed. The attention to the customer is also evident from these little things that would make an immersive experience (just like Bob aims to be) even more complete and well-rounded. In any case, I can't help but give 5* because the quality is truly excellent

21/05/2025: Keyword: excellence. Maniacal care for ingredients, trademark environment and experience and impeccable service. Simply unique pizzas, a pleasure to be enjoyed with just your hands. Some sweet pizzas have recently been removed from the menu, I hope the one with milk cream and caramel will be reintroduced (maybe even by the slice). The new reservation system is excellent. As before, I will return again. 🔝

26/04/2025: Torno con un gruppo di amici in questo ristorante del quale conservavo un ottimo ricordo. La qualità dei piatti è forse anche superiore ai miei ricordi gustativi della visita precedente. Tuttavia il servizio non è più all’altezza della qualità della cucina, forse per la mancanza di personale. Ritornerò sperando di vedere un recupero anche nella qualità del servizio.

Apparently, the owner’s grandmother coined the name, capturing the essence of the restaurant’s philosophy. The menu features a full Italian experience, from primi to secondi, with handmade pasta and exceptionally fresh seafood that immediately caught my attention. The wine selection is quite impressive, highlighting excellent Calabrian options alongside select French bottles. The presence of numerous local patrons underscores its reputation within the community. While slightly removed from the tourist trail, Pastificio Statiola is a true gem for those seeking authentic, high-quality cuisine at a fair price.

21/05/2025: When you say good the first time! We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant pizzeria in the province of Varese. The place is well furnished and clean, spacious and well-spaced tables. The service is fast, punctual but at the same time discreet. Let's move on to the food: A pleasant note is definitely the fried food. We tried the cuoppo, and apart from the large size, we were able to appreciate how tasty and dry it was. The pizza was good, light, digestible and above all made with high-quality products.

01/02/2025: Posto carino, ci sono i giochi da tavola e l'atmosfera è accogliente . Si può prendere un buon thè, hanno una vasta selezione, oppure un classico drink se si va post cena . Speciale menzione per Elisa, simpatica, dolce e paziente. Ci ha spiegato il gioco che avevamo scelto e fatto sentire accolti.
