24/03/2026: For a while now, because I've been frequenting "al bivio" for a while, I've wanted to review the restaurant. Unfortunately, due to personal and family issues related to health reasons, I've never found the time to do so. Now, urged, I can no longer avoid doing so. I won't go into detail; although "al Bivio" in Davoli Marina certainly deserves it. Everything was excellent: from the professionalism, courtesy, and helpfulness of the manager, Sandrino Perri, and his staff; to the cleanliness of the premises, the table linens, the air conditioning, and, above all, the quality and deliciousness of the dishes served! Ample parking is available in the surrounding areas, and the price is reasonable for the quantity and, above all, the quality of the menu. My rating? 10+!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, dominated by a room with a roaring fireplace that immediately invites you to relax. It's the kind of place you don't expect: refined in its simplicity, far removed from the usual stereotypes. The Dining Experience The Appetizer: The true star of the evening. A succession of typical Calabrian courses that celebrate tradition with care and the excellent quality of the ingredients. The selection of meat cuts is also excellent. The Service: Impeccable. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always attentive, without ever being intrusive. The Bill is average, with a fair and affordable quality-price ratio. This place is not just a restaurant, but a symbol of the redemption of a region, Calabria, that has been unfairly labeled for too long. Here, tradition meets modern and impeccable management, demonstrating that excellence is at home.

17/08/2025: A must-see in Badolato. The atmosphere is youthful and casual, and you'll instantly fall in love! The service was impeccable, with special attention to the children's needs. The pita is fantastic, and the vegan options deserve a special mention! Well done, guys!

23/10/2025: Excellent service, excellent food, and a restaurant located with the best view of Diamante. If you go at sunset, it's truly incredible. If you want a cozy and delicious experience, I recommend it.

27/08/2025: A top-notch culinary experience. The appetizers were refined and well-balanced in flavor, while the masterfully cooked tuna was the true highlight of the dinner. The excellent Gewürztraminer paired perfectly with the dish. The friendly and delightful owner made the evening even more enjoyable. A restaurant definitely worth recommending.

On the train back from Parma to Bari, expecting a stop in Pescara, we called the pizzeria to ask if they could deliver the pizzas directly to the platform... and they said yes! Punctual, friendly, and truly out of the ordinary. An experience that deserves a special mention!

27/12/2025: Their pizzas put all others to shame! I’ve tried other pizzerias in near by towns or cities like Palermo and they are still the best and affordable!! Everyone there is friendly and remember you when you go back. Fresh ingredients, great crust hmmm.

17/09/2025: A very small but welcoming inn, with parking available in their on-site parking lot. The owners, two gentlemen from Ravenna, are very kind and friendly. The restaurant is nestled in the greenery of the Catanzaro Sila mountains, just a stone's throw from Villaggio Mancuso. The food is all delicious and fresh. The price is fair for what you get. Definitely a place to eat, and I highly recommend making a detour to get there. The food is also beautifully presented.

17/08/2025: At the end of a beautiful hike along the Cuturello trail in Buturo, organized by the Carabinieri Biodiversity Protection Section of the Cz Carabinieri, we stopped at this truly special restaurant. A unique, almost magical place. The decor is elegant, as are the owners, who are kind and discreet. A menu to be savored slowly, allowing the palate to linger, curious, on the expert use of raw ingredients and the intelligent and unexpected combinations of flavors and colors. I will certainly return... also because I'm curious to learn more about the story of this Lombard couple in Calabria. Thank you, a nourishing experience in so many ways.

09/09/2025: It's a pub located in Scalea, right near the historic center. It's a family-run place, and the staff are very kind and always available. The food they serve is very good, with local and authentic products. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: We spent €43 for four people and ate really, really well. We arrived hungry, nervous because we didn't know where to eat, and confused because we didn't know what to eat. When we arrived, they gave us a really nice welcome. I don't know if it's family-run, but they made me feel that way—really kind and adorable. The three of us created our own burgers, and we were all four satisfied with what we ate. The cover charge is €1, very cheap—I'm mentioning this because it costs a lot in other places. Honestly, I really appreciated it. The price is fair, the food is good, the music is great, and the restrooms are super clean. Highly recommended. We arrived by chance on that street, so we didn't book. I don't think it's necessary, but maybe it depends on the time of day.

27/08/2025: One of the best bakeries in the area, the pizza is incredible!! The bread is too, and I recommend the pangoccioli, so soft and tasty, I could have eaten 100 of them! The owner is friendly and kind, and the colorful interior is also very beautiful.
