14/08/2025: Last night, in the middle of our Calabrian vacation, we discovered this pub right below our accommodation... and what a discovery! Two amazing sandwiches, made with quality ingredients and truly exceptional flavor, accompanied by delicious beers. Friendly staff and perfect prices. If there were more than 5 stars, this one would get at least 10! The guys upstairs ✨️

29/08/2025: "Authentic and creamy gelato" Lots of new flavors, fresh, authentic, and made with quality ingredients. The gelato is creamy, and the flavors are intense and natural. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is welcoming. A truly pleasant stop in the wonderful village of Altomonte, highly recommended!

08/07/2025: Very good local ice cream and a coffee place with long tradition. The outdoor seating provides a beautiful view of the square and of the village and its surroundings. Both ice cream and most of their biscuits selection are gluten-free and they know how to handle avoiding any contamination.

29/08/2025: I've been to many restaurants in many countries. I've never seen such poor service in my life. The food was tasteless. Very simple dishes took over an hour to arrive. The salad I ordered never arrived. When the bill came, I saw several different prices and asked for them to correct it. In short, it was a bad experience.

29/08/2025: We arrived at 21:30, it's 22:30 and we're still waiting for food. Furthermore, it says closing time is 23:00. There's zero interest, almost no one speaks English, and it's incredibly difficult to communicate. I was embarrassed when I saw what they presented us as pizza. We ordered a salad, but it didn't arrive; there was a mistake on the bill (and the table across from us had the same problem tonight). They sent two limoncellos to apologize, but I don't think such things can be compensated. They shamelessly charge a service fee, and we are paying for a service we can't even receive. It's truly sad...

24/07/2025: I’ve Been here in June’24 and despite I was unlucky to wait for over 40 minutes for my dish to come the prize was to enjoy the best fish filè I had in my life. A very simple grilled fresh fish with a flavour to remember.

24/07/2025: Fresh and well-cooked products, excellent and light fried calamari, fair price, place that is truly worth it, the only flaw is immediately informing the customer of the dishes that are not available or that have run out of the menu!

17/07/2025: Hello I'm giving 5 stars so as not to penalize a restaurant owner who I hope will be constructive, because that evening was a disaster. The restaurant owner asked me to be honest when writing my review. We arrived at 7:10 p.m. because the website states the hours are 11 a.m. to midnight. This is incorrect. They were kind enough to serve us at 7:30 p.m., even though the kitchen actually opens at 8 p.m. We were delighted! In the meantime, we had a bottle of water on an outdoor terrace whose seats were completely ruined, dirty, and the cushions (white ones in the photos) were missing. Your photos on your website are 5 years old and are completely misleading, as is the state of your ponds, which are teeming with algae. Regarding the restaurant, The table service was excellent. The lady was extremely polite and helpful. On the other hand, a kitchen employee came to the end of the terrace twice to observe. Our dishes were really way too salty; at this point, it's not about liking or not liking, it's a mistake that keeps happening. My trio: I couldn't eat the shrimp because they were practically raw. I tried a forkful of swordfish; it was extremely cooked, as hard as a brick, while the salmon was edible, so I ate it. My daughter ate her dish (whatever the name is in Italian), and she was sick during the night. The music wasn't suitable. We paid 69 euros, which is a totally reasonable bill if we had been able to eat something good that evening. This wasn't the case, and we regret it as much as you do. Don't try to make excuses for bitter customers. We're not. Only your tables and chairs under the chalet are very comfortable and clean. Outside, the place was probably great a few years ago, but it's time to repair, clean, and especially update your photos/time. That evening, it wasn't good, that's all. Sometimes it's better to say... okay, you may be right, I'll find out why rather than write nonsense. Have a very nice day.

24/08/2025: Very friendly and the food was truly delicious. The arancini are a true specialty and not at all greasy. The croquettes are also delicious! Some people even become art critics when it comes to food, but I can say with certainty that my Sicilian grandmother would have been thrilled! The service was also quick despite it being busy.

16/08/2025: The potato croquettes were excellent, but the potato and nugget skewer was cold and bland. The arancini Bolognese was fantastic! There was a bit of a wait at the counter, but overall, the dishes were very good.

07/07/2025: A beautiful discovery near Reggio Calabria. The restaurant is truly splendid, with a breathtaking view of the Strait and a very particular table arrangement inside a garden with Mediterranean plants. The cuisine is excellent, elegant, but substantial and typically regional. I really enjoyed the zucchini fritter, the red shrimp, the zucchini rolls, the sardines and the lobster pasta (the tomato sauce was delicious). The menu changes depending on the catch: synonymous with quality and seriousness. The wine list is rather short, but with some interesting regional selections. The service is nice and helpful.

The first courses are the heart of the culinary offering.
