26/03/2026: Let me preface this by saying that I've known Bruno and Fortunato all my life.....whether alone or with friends, I've always felt at home in what I call "my haven of taste." The Schinella brothers are a guarantee, always striving to provide the best possible service to their customers. I've read some complaints, but those who strive to do and give the best may not be able to satisfy everyone's palates, especially since, with all this TV these days, we all feel like food critics. Getting back to the point, I would definitely recommend the place. The wine and spirits list is truly unique, with fantastic labels for those who understand and know wine. The pizza is excellent, with excellent leavening. Any softness in the center isn't a cooking issue at all, but rather an abundance of ingredients. In any case, the Neapolitan-style pizza is soft in the center: "rusks are not pizza." The meats are top-quality and the first courses are delicious and tasty. A big hug to the Schinella brothers for their dedication to the wonderful memories of those cutlets their mother used to prepare, which Fortunato was always forced to share with me, all washed down with a good glass of red wine and lots of laughter.

25/03/2026: Definitely recommended. The food was well-prepared, the Angus steak was excellent, and the staff was professional. Despite it being a Tuesday, the place was packed (unexpectedly), the staff was sparse... but everything ran smoothly.

13/04/2026: I had breakfast there; the photos I uploaded are the products I brought home for my parents. The white cream croissant is highly recommended; it's super full of cream, and the croissant dough is better than any other I've tried. The cream and chocolate Danish pastry also gets a thumbs up (not pictured). I was pleasantly surprised to find the pain suisse. Unfortunately, in Reggio Calabria, few people try their hand at making French breakfast pastries. However, they still have some work to do. Perhaps they used too little butter, and I wasn't thrilled with the filling either. Perhaps an egg cream with a more intense flavor would have been better in this case. The pastry was laminated well. As for breakfast on-site, a small tip might be to ALSO serve the croissant on a small plate. I've noticed that in Reggio almost all the cafés hand it to you, which can be a bit annoying. Even those who eat breakfast standing up might want to put the croissant down for a second while sipping their cappuccino or coffee. Overall, it's fine. If you want a good breakfast, I recommend "Cafè Rinascente Pasticceria."

12/04/2026: It's one of the best pastry shops in Reggio Calabria. The pastries are always fresh, and there's a wide selection, even for breakfast croissants. You can dine at the bar or at one of the tables. The place is very spacious, and there's also a dining room downstairs. I recommend the semifreddo and cakes; I especially loved the cheesecakes, which were delicious and beautiful!

05/10/2025: The place has a wide selection of wines, is very clean, and the staff is friendly. We waited a bit for the first course (cooked lightly salted), but the porchetta and appetizers were good.

15/03/2026: Carefully following the owner's directions, given that the restaurant is located in a unique spot on Strada Statale 106, in the blazing August sun we arrived at what we might call a step back in time: an ancient olive mill that even centuries ago could and did provide refreshments to customers waiting to take home the oil from their own olives. The cool, air-conditioned space, divided into two spacious rooms, is steeped in the history of simple times gone by, yet still distinctive, like its cuisine, its sumptuous dishes, its house specialties, the varied home-cooked menu, the enormous fireplace, and the kind and attentive wait staff. We left the restaurant as if we had stepped out of a museum of Catanzaro cuisine, calm, full, and satisfied.

27/02/2026: I agree with the positive reviews from many other users. The place is welcoming and the staff is friendly and helpful. The quality of the food is unquestionable. Excellent value for money. It's now a must-visit for me when I'm traveling to or from Catanzaro.

13/08/2025: Nestled in a stunning landscape, opposite the renowned Sant'Adriano Park, the Corsini restaurant shines with its own light! Expertise, kindness, cleanliness, and meticulous attention to detail are just some of its distinguishing features, but above all, the excellent quality of the products used in the dishes, expertly prepared by chef Franco, stands out. The attentive eye of manager Mario and maitre d' Enzo ensure that guests feel pampered and satisfied. I highly recommend trying the fish specialties. Excellent value.

The staff is very friendly, but I especially remember Fiorella, a cheerful, sweet, and always available girl who truly makes you feel at home. ❤️ The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the food is exceptional. We will be back with absolute pleasure. ❤️
