28/05/2025: The place is truly enchanting from a naturalistic and landscape point of view. The activities designed for schools are also interesting. Good food. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. The only flaw is the lack of shade especially at the amphitheater and the lack of toilet paper in the bathrooms.

What's most surprising is the respect for the ingredients and the apparent simplicity with which a classic dish becomes contemporary without forcing it or trying to impress at all costs. 06/09/2025: The food and service we not very good this place is not worth the visit

24/08/2025: This morning I came to have breakfast with my family and I found myself serving the tables a lady with little desire to work. I waited for half an hour. I asked if I could order and she told me that she had other tables to serve and was going to receive orders from customers who came after... in that case we had to get up and change bars... Oh... I forgot, my table was left dirty with what the previous customers had ordered.

23/08/2025: The place is always very busy, the croissants are good and there is a wide choice of flavours and shapes.

19/07/2025: We stayed at this hotel for 9 days and upon arrival, upon entering the room, we found three beds instead of the four we booked. They added a fourth bed. It's a shame that the room is a triple, and with the fourth bed, it was cramped, so we couldn't even open the closet. The room was very poorly cleaned and the towels were dirty. We requested a duvet for the fourth bed and are still waiting for it. The balcony was never cleaned. As for the restaurant, we were disappointed. The appetizers were always the same, with only peaches, watermelon, and apricots for a couple of days. Bananas, which are the fruit most eaten by nonexistent children, were also available. The prices at the hotel bar and the beach bar were different, and the portions varied completely depending on the bartender. The entertainment was nothing special, and the mini club for children 12 and up was nonexistent. It's a shame because the hotel and the beach are lovely. The bar and pool for adults and children near the beach are excellent.

19/07/2025: The hotel is definitely not 4 stars, at most 3, and that's barely. The big advantage is that it is close to the beach, which you can reach by underpass. The beach is clean and the sea is nice. However, the pool hotel is right next to a landfill, which you can smell. The worst thing is the hotel system. Clearly designated place for sitting with strangers, very uncomfortable. The rooms are old, full of mosquitoes, stains and mold in the fridge. The food is very poor, even hospital food when it comes to breakfast. Eat the same thing for a week and no choice. Lunches and dinners are a little better. I definitely do not recommend the hotel anywhere. If you want to experience Italy, go somewhere else. Moreover, as no one else has written here, if you are not Italian, they treat you completely differently.

02/07/2025: Nice bar, clean and tidy, friendly staff but absurd prices, out of any concept. Tiny and not very good fior di latte ice cream (a spoonful to be clear) €3. Also I understood that there is a price difference between a cone and a cup. The coffee was good €1.20...in line with current prices let's say.

06/05/2025: In visita al centro commerciale, ci fermiamo per un caffè. Bar piuttosto fornito a prezzi giusti. Caffè discreto e personale che mi è parso attento e gentile.

30/08/2025: Take three random, disorganized, tactless, and polite people, put them in charge of a crowded space with chairs and tables (alas, in the town's main square), and you'll find yourself at the Stardust. There were 10 of us when we arrived at this completely empty place—a godsend, some might think...but no. The incompetence in taking the order (6 beers, 2 gin and tonics, and 2 Cokes) was hard to understand. We ordered platters as an appetizer and then wanted sandwiches...but they hadn't run out. We asked what else we could eat and were told they mainly serve drinks, not food. Well...then allow me 2 pieces of advice: 1st, remove the food category from your menu, and especially the blackboard in plain sight with platters, sandwiches, and fried foods written on it. 2. If you only want to serve drinks, at least try to do that well, since when we asked for a second and third round of drinks, you rudely, annoyed, and arrogantly told us we were wasting your time going back and forth. I'm sorry, gentlemen, but that's not how things are done. You should change your profession.

29/08/2025: The owner is kind... with these prices, he's also unpleasant. Besides the poor quality of the cocktails. You're taking away the pleasure of going out for an aperitif. On vacation, it's nice to visit places and go on excursions. Even going out for a meal or an aperitif, often convinces people to buy drinks at the supermarket and do it in their apartment. Make cocktails or aperitifs. You're also taking away the pleasure of going out for an aperitif. Absurd.

27/04/2025: Premetto che ero già stato piu volte in questo locale (la mia ultima presenza risaliva al gennaio 2024) quasi sempre di sabato sera. In tutte le occasioni avevo sempre avuto una discreta impressione generale tra qualità della musica live e a sprazzi anche del cibo. Decido di tornare dopo un po di tempo insieme ad un paio di amici per trascorrere un sabato sera tranquillo. Piú che parlare di cosa ho mangiato o del fatto che il locale fosse fondamentale semi vuoto fino alle 23 circa mi soffermo sull’episodio a mio parere “discutibile” che ha minato la credibilità del locale. Intorno alle 23.15 per un “imprevisto” siamo costretti anzitempo a lasciare il locale con l’intento di ritornare molto presto.. Nel farlo saldiamo il conto e chiediamo alla cassa se fosse possibile rientrare piu tardi, ci assicurano di si ricordando il numero del tavolo. Poco dopo lo scoccare della mezzanotte rientriamo prontamente presso il locale e al momento del nostro rientro ci viene detto che si trattava di “dopocena” e per farlo avremmo dovuto pagare ben 10€ a persona per la consumazione! Chiaramente una mancanza di rispetto simile per chi ha avuto un imprevisto dopo che ci era stato detto che saremmo potuto rientrare non può essere tollerata. Sarebbe stato più opportuno dirlo prima che il secondo ingresso si sarebbe dovuto pagare. Un pò come andare in discoteca, fare 2 passi fuori e al ritorno mi facessero pagare l’ingresso da capo: mai visto! Specialmente perché avevamo prenotato il tavolo delle 21.30 proprio con l’intento di rimanere a lungo. Onestamente c’è stato poco da controbattere.. L’episodio si commenta da solo.

25/08/2025: Welcoming beach, helpful and friendly owner...very kind staff...both at the tables and on the beach...top week...from 16th to 21st August...as for the rented house, very uncomfortable place up in Lentiscosa dei Cosentino...but luckily we had a good time at the beach!

18/08/2025: A beautiful beach resort on one of my favorite beaches in Marina di Camerota. We spent a good three weeks here (July 2025), so we also had the opportunity to have lunch and use all the amenities. The resort is well-equipped; nothing is missing. The umbrellas are spaced close together, it's true, but this is somewhat of a local practice. The food service has always been impeccable and courteous, and the prices are fair, even for umbrellas and loungers. The only complaint, and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that some common areas (such as bathrooms, walkways, etc.) weren't cleaned and tidied up with due attention. It often happened, even early in the morning, that the restrooms were dirty and full of trash. I would recommend paying more attention to these aspects. P.S. There's a charge for cold showers (50 cents)... but this is also a standard practice at almost all beach resorts in the area.

14/08/2025: A terrible experience from start to finish. We ordered a pasta dish and a meat dish: the wait was interminable, hours. Some people at the table didn't even receive their dishes. When the main courses finally arrived, the meat was so salty it was inedible. The house wine was awful, almost undrinkable. This place is definitely one to avoid. I would have given it 0 stars if I could. P.S. An outside fan wouldn't hurt.

16/08/2025: I found the restaurant very dirty and the service was not at all attentive. They don't greet you, ignore your questions, and are annoyed by the presence of other customers. The bathrooms are out of order. It's a shame because the location is attractive.

16/08/2025: ONE STAR IS ALREADY TOO MANY.. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND EQUALLY TERRIBLE STAFF.. APPETIZER: It included 4 slices of cheese and 4 slices of salami. Pasta completely tasteless, not to mention the main course that arrived after about two hours. We asked for water about 4 times, which arrived after an hour from a fountain outside. The restrooms aren't up to standard because while you're eating, people walk past you with the door open. To pee, you have to rest your legs on a sort of shower next to the toilet. While we were in the dining room, we were covered in smoke from the kitchen. The whole dining room complained. A terrible experience, we'll never return. And I assure you, there are many other things to say.

25/08/2025: Good morning, I'd like to report an unpleasant incident at your establishment. This morning I stopped in for a coffee. When paying, I asked to use a card, but the staff reacted with obvious annoyance, as if paying such a small amount was a problem. Furthermore, the attitude was rude and unwelcoming, even though I was the only customer there. Finally, the coffee served was so poor that I couldn't finish it. As a tourist, I would have expected a different welcome: I believe a establishment should value every customer, regardless of the amount spent or the payment method.

25/08/2025: A ham and melon cost 15 euros, not even on the French Riviera at these prices. Poor service.

16/08/2025: Think of it as Zero Stars! There were nine of us, two of whom didn't order anything. This was enough to unleash the owner's ire, who asked them to leave in a rather questionable manner, saying, "If you don't order anything, you get up and leave. In my place, you follow my rules..." At which point we were forced to leave, all astonished, but above all disappointed, by the lack of professionalism the owner showed towards a group of young people, gesticulating rudely. Do you realize we're in 2025? Do you think hospitality in Calabria still deserves this embarrassment? You'll never see me again, nor my friends, nor anyone else to whom I will strongly advise against this place, ditto Nicastro. In response to the owner's comment: You should tell me if you've ever seen, in any other place, a group of twenty-five-year-olds order ONLY BOTTLES OF WATER! I wonder if the management license was granted by the Lamezia municipal administration or by the Marinella consortium. I'm shocked by your behavior that evening and your response to my review. Apparently, your customers are lying. Good work!

06/08/2025: A terrible experience, to say the least. The owner is extremely rude. He speaks rudely to people who could be his children or even grandchildren. There were nine of us, seven of whom had ordered food and the rest hadn't. He made everyone leave the table because they hadn't ordered anything. If only I could, I'd give it 0 stars! My advice to the owner is to vent in other ways, but not to the customers.

24/08/2025: You should just be ashamed!!!!! We ordered 4 zeppole, two eggplant fritters, a capricciosa pizza, and a beef burger sandwich, cheddar salad and bacon (I had the mayonnaise and ketchup removed which were listed on the menu), a large water and a Moretti beer.... we had to pay 21 euros... at the cashier we paid 24.50... they increased the sandwich from 5 to 8 euros and the pizza from 4.50 to 5 euros... when I complained that on the downloaded PDF menu and on the one hanging on the wall outside there was a different price, they replied that it was old and needed to be updated.... it's a shame that those who were Calabrian and paid before us had paid the price that was written everywhere. If you are on holiday in Locri and therefore you are not Calabrian, do not go to Poldo, you could have unpleasant surprises because the price suddenly changes... I would have paid you not only the 3 euros more... since I am on holiday I do not care about the euro ...but for the fooling, take someone else. Shame.

23/08/2025: I don't recommend it. The prices displayed both on the sign outside and those you scan with the code aren't real. When you go to pay, you end up with a different amount. I ask for information on the bill and am told the prices are up to date. I hope law enforcement does its job and checks out these scammers who inflate prices without updating the menu. Being fooled like this is truly shameful.

29/07/2025: Il posto si trova a due passi dal mare ed è sicuramente un posto sicuro dove mangiare un menu con panino con la salsiccia, patatine e bibita a poco prezzo. La carne ottima e il servizio veloce (non era una serata particolarmente affollata); vasta scelta. Punto in più per la cura nella pulizia dei tavoli e delle sedie.

24/07/2025: Un boccone al volo in attesa della proclamazione, cibo buono, posto pulito, sicuramente è stato fatto un cambiamento e si vede. Si può sempre migliorare.
