29/08/2025: We loved it; we stayed here for two nights in August. The family room sleeps four, was very spacious, had a large bathroom, and had a balcony. The owners are very kind, and the property is clearly long-standing, yet completely renovated. Ample parking is available, and breakfast is served on the patio under a beautiful wooden canopy. It's a shame the restaurant closed this year, but the beautiful open kitchen makes for delicious food. Good value for money. Excellent location. We'll definitely be back.

01/08/2025: Nothing exceptional. Rooms are average, but quite noisy due to the proximity to the road. The hotel is very far from the sea.

06/07/2025: Siamo stati in questa pizzeria all’aperto in una serata d’estate. Il locale è carino, con uno spazio piacevole e ben tenuto, anche se purtroppo c’era davvero tanta gente e faceva molto caldo. L’attesa per ricevere la pizza è stata piuttosto lunga: oltre un’ora, il che ha un po’ rovinato l’esperienza. Il cibo era discreto, senza infamia e senza lode. Le pizze erano buone ma nulla di eccezionale, magari la salsa un po’ salata. Un punto a favore va sicuramente ai camerieri, sempre gentili e disponibili nonostante il caos e l’affollamento. Nel complesso una serata accettabile, ma da riprovare magari in un momento più tranquillo

20/08/2025: It's a bakery, but they also offer a bar and breakfast service. They have a wide variety of products, from the classic "mpiulato" (a traditional pastry made with bread) of Paola, to various biscuits, pizzas, rustic cakes, focaccias, and various types of bread, as well as small pastries. The brioches are generally good, and the prices are in line with the area. The real problem here are the girls behind the counter, who are truly rude and unprofessional: they make inappropriate jokes about customers, and they're always unsympathetic—it's truly indecent. Let's just say that if they didn't sell good food, no one would go there! Easy free parking nearby, practically in the city center.

18/10/2025: It's not about how I ate; I saw the emergency door blocked by the half-lowered shutter. I can understand that you do that so someone might not pay and run away, and those people exist. But you, the owner, can install a sound detector to warn anyone who opens that door. You can't put your customers at risk.

02/09/2025: Maybe it wasn't the right day, but I saw total disorganization. One dish arrived instead of four, and another didn't arrive at all. You had to wait ages between courses. However, I'd like to point out that it was early August, so perhaps they weren't expecting many customers, since they too were making a mess having parked their cars badly. The waiters, instead of doing their job, had to look for the parking attendants.

08/09/2025: Truly pleasant, with a youthful and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always attentive to the customer's needs. Excellent music selection makes the atmosphere even more lively. An added touch? The chessboards available, perfect for chess enthusiasts and for spending time with friends. A place that makes you want to return.

26/09/2025: A stunning place, with attentive and qualified staff to meet every customer's need. This restaurant serves only fresh fish daily. The raw fish is always fresh and excellent. The fried fish is cooked to perfection with fresh oil, so it always arrives crispy and dry. They can cater for up to 300 people for lunch and dinner, so they're excellent. Oh, and I forgot about the pizza, which is "super good"! You won't want to miss coming back, both to enjoy these wonderful dishes and to enjoy the breathtaking view, especially at sunset. You'll absolutely fall in love with it.

28/10/2025: A place to avoid, as the food arrived after an hour and was of terrible quality with so much oil that I was disgusted and no seasoning for a €15 first course and unfriendly waiters who seemed tired of serving. Thanks.

02/12/2025: Excellent options, even too many. Trying a mix of appetizers, I found a blend of flavors, from the exquisite octopus and shrimp to the thawed tuna, which I wasn't expecting; it was still cold. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the spaghetti with butter-filled clams. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. Prices were average.

21/11/2025: Guys, this isn't the first time I've been here for lunch. The fish is delicious and the portions are generous. The price is reasonable (not expensive). The restaurant is welcoming and very beautiful, even aesthetically pleasing. What more could you ask for? I'll be back and definitely recommend it.

19/08/2025: The owner (I assume), manager, pizza chef, chef, and, in short, Deus Ex Machina Raffaele deserves 5 stars for his helpfulness and the kindness he exudes from every pore. In my opinion, it's impossible to argue with someone like him. I have many Calabrian friends and acquaintances, but he's one of a kind. A visit to his culinary "laboratory" is worth a visit just for the pleasure of meeting him. My family and I were returning from a trip to Tropea and Pizzo, two pearls of Calabria's Tyrrhenian coast that have nothing to envy of the Sorrento peninsula (I'd almost say "quite the opposite"). We were hungry, however, and we could have eaten and digested stones. That said, we wanted pizza, and while we waited, he offered us some fried calamari, made with clean oil and quite tasty. Then the pizzas arrived. I'm not judging these because I'm Neapolitan and these pizzas are not, so there's no point in trying to be a sophist. If you're in Amantea and order a pizza, you can eat it and keep quiet. Afterwards, he offered us some ravioli filled with "seafood" and topped with a nice prawn. If they had been hot and the sauce thinner, I wouldn't hesitate to call them as stratospheric as dear Raffaele said. After a very honest bill, he offered us coffee. In conclusion, the atmosphere isn't appealing, but there's outdoor seating, in the pizzeria, and in the restaurant. The cooking is influenced by the fact that Raffaele does everything himself, with the help, I believe, of his children—many young, well-mannered people. I've described the place as a "workshop" because it has the potential to grow, and I wish it the best of luck. Perhaps if Antonino Cannavacciuolo were to come by, he'd know how to guide him. One thing's for sure: I'll be back. And if you go and find the food isn't good, or even too good, I urge you to be more tolerant; Raffaele deserves it. Last but not least: the name of the place would normally scare me away, but he likes it, so be it.
