14/01/2024: Il 4 gennaio Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per festeggiare insieme io e mio fratello i nostri compleanni e pensionamento con una magnifica cena con le nostre famiglie. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dal servizio con camerieri molto professionali, e il cibo di qualità; ottimo antipasto di mare, paccheri all'astice cotti alla perfezione e saporiti, infine il secondo di pesce molto buono. Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima e indimenticabile serata fino a mezzanotte in bella compagnia, allietata dalla bella musica suonata con violino dalla bravissima violinista e nuora di mio fratello. Abbiamo apprezzato la disponibilità del titolare e di tutto lo staff, sono stati molto attenti alle nostre esigenze e ci hanno fatto sentire a nostro agio. Consigliatissimo, purtroppo abito a quasi 1000 Km di distanza, ma quando capiterà l'occasione, ci ritornerò.

20/08/2024: The location is wonderful adjacent to the seafront, the staff very friendly but the service could improve a little; there were 6 of us at the table and the courses did not all arrive at the same time, to some first and to some later. The taste of the pizza isn't bad but the shape leaves a lot to be desired, I received a pizza that looked like it was made by a novice kid. A little more attention is needed...

13/04/2024: Let's say they could improve when it comes to "aperitif". A small bowl of chips, sweet peanuts in a bottle, and three panozzi with salami are not enough to define an "aperitif". The aperitif is a complete meal: pizzas, sandwiches, various pretzels, meatballs, mini sandwiches, peanuts, various snacks. I would say that the aperitif should be enjoyed in abundance. They have enlarged and enhanced the place but as far as the aperitif is concerned it is very poor so I give it 2 stars. Disappointing. Plus the music is too loud.

09/06/2024: Margherita pizza 1.90 per piece and in front they divided it in half to always pay the same price. In addition to the undiplomatic response which says a lot... (as you can read below)... I would add that I know how to read and that one certainly cannot respond to negative feedback with such arrogance... moreover I underline and reiterate that the slice of pizza is already pre-cut it was cut in front of me in half. Having said that... STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

08/08/2024: I have always been a loyal customer of Dunya but the latest experience makes me never go back again. I ordered a Greek kebab and a portion of sweet potatoes. After having dinner I experienced severe pain, vomiting and nausea that persisted even the next morning. Be careful if you want to avoid food poisoning.

02/07/2024: If you are looking for the best kebab in Calabria, you can't miss Dunya. The meat is excellent, nothing like the usual doners which have that low quality greyish meat. But the real highlight for me are the Sambusa, little stuffed triangles that are the bomb! Crispy on the outside and with a tasty filling, they are simply irresistible. I order them every time I go.

24/08/2024: I don't usually comment but unfortunately this one deserves a lot, something happened to me tonight that borders on the incredible and the absurd but also the laws of human tolerance This mediocre bar in Borgomanero only lets you sit at the table if you are willing to give them €4 minimum drink so: if you have a 6 month old baby or are a teetotaler or cannot drink anything other than water for medical reasons, you because you sat in their place and take up space in which you should earn at least €4 for each seat (you have to forced to pay them) in my opinion, as well as being embarrassing, it is terrible because if I can only drink one water (whether for health reasons or for economic problems) I have to pay for it what they would charge following a minimum drink of €4, i.e. €1.50 .... This evening, among other things, I heard a waitress (I presume the bartender's companion) say to me: of a little bar and I repeat: from Borgomanero who thought he was instead in Corso Como or Porto Cervo with arrogance that: "a coke €3 only at Esselunga" ... poor thing. I repeat, I paid €4 for a "vaja" brand natural water, one of the least expensive on the market, €4 because in addition to the drinks of my 4 friends at €10 each, he was supposed to arrive at the end of the month (this is what I was told ) with my seat, and that they charge €5 for coca cola just because they are a company and at the end of the month they have to invoice... for food... that if they all took water or coffee they wouldn't live... like if it were possible... that if you occupy a seat you have to give him €4 (even without consuming) or rather you have to consume a glass of water €4 to sit. I repeat, €5 for a can of coke and €4 for still water for the "minimum consumption" I wanted to get up first… A bar in Borgomanero........ AH AND ATTENTION I DIDN'T EXPLAIN MYSELF 100% AS I WOULD HAVE WANTED IN ONE POINT: THESE MAKE YOU PAY €4 FOR WATER BUT IF YOU WANT TO TAKE THE SECOND THEN YOU PAY €1.50. THEY WILL ONLY MAKE YOU PAY €4 FOR THE FIRST ONE WHY DID YOU SIT IN THEIR PLASTIC CHAIRS. (FRIDAY NIGHT EMPTY PLACE, TWO TABLES WITH PEOPLE SEATED) I WAS TOLD “HOW DO YOU THINK DO YOU FUNCTION IN THE DISCO?” NINI WE ARE NOT IN THE DISCO Good luck, you need it dear ones.

12/08/2024: After consuming (2 cocktails of €8 and €10 each), my son joined us and asked for a glass of water. But they pointed out to us that the obligatory and minimum drink is €4 and therefore he could not have been served only water. I then got another cocktail for myself and obviously water for my son (which in any case didn't reach the figure of €4...). In the meantime he served other customers (probably his friends) drinks that cost less than €4. After this fall in style, I will definitely not go back again and I don't recommend going there. There are several other places nearby as it is located in the centre.
