10/08/2024: Exceptional food, excellent quality. Professional and kind staff. You can eat both inside and outside. All the dishes are worthy of being tasted because everything is truly delicious. Very large and clean room. I highly recommend.

31/10/2024: Of the many restaurants and trattorias, the only one that was very disappointing, the first course was pasta with orange cream which tasted like nothing, the second course was a cup of sausage sauce with toasted bread, absurd, the salad was already moldy and old. If you want to make a good impression, don't go there.

05/08/2024: I decided and completed my son's eighteenth birthday with satisfaction! The location is beautiful and the party took place by the pool. The atmosphere is very elegant and refined. The dinner was excellent, with the utmost satisfaction of all the guests. The waiters were very helpful, especially Michele, who was very friendly and had an extremely kind manner! I thank all the staff for making my son's party possible, which was a success. I recommend the Selva Piana farmhouse!

04/08/2024: We celebrated an 18th birthday. I can't complain about the waiters who were excellent, but the owner was a complainer and rude to the point of complaining even about a drop of wine falling on the floor. I wouldn't prefer it for anything else.

28/01/2025: There wasn't much to choose from in Matera in January, so we let ourselves be won over by the tables and sandwiches at this place. What a pleasure! We decided to order the panifocaccias, a success. Delicious and fresh product. Although the roast potatoes were reheated, we give them 5/5 because the food, service and atmosphere were unbeatable.

20/01/2025: Then it was an idealized place for many years. But when I decided to visit it it was a huge disappointment. I can't comment on the food because it never arrived as the waiters hadn't even brought the menu after 1 hour. ...the cocktails are normal....the only luck is the location...

03/11/2024: Fantastic discovery to say the least! We were in the village for a short stay, fantastic welcome, everyone was super kind and friendly, food beyond expectations! Small tip, try all the starters, they are exceptional, the first course with crusco pepper is delicious. If we are passing through or in the surrounding area, Il Caminetto will be our fixed stop! The attention to detail, the internal and external environments, the food, the availability, all small components of a perfect puzzle. Very careful with guests who, due to various needs, could not eat certain dishes. Finally, the icing on the cake, namely the owner Anna, an exquisite person, always available and particularly attentive in advising you and directing you so that everything is perfect... 30/09/2024: We chose the Sala Ermica for our wedding reception and we can say that it was a wonderful day. All this is due to the location but above all to the kindness and helpfulness of the sweet Anna and all the staff! We had already appreciated their skill and kindness in the months preceding the wedding, while we were defining our day down to the smallest details and throughout the day, we always felt "tranquil" because all the staff (without exception) were always impeccable and this it gave us enormous pleasure. Aperitif, starters, lunch and dessert buffet were exquisite and all the guests complimented themselves on the quality offered and the exquisiteness of the dishes. I thank Anna again for her attention to the smallest details, to the details, from the table linen to the wonderful flowers. Thank you so much for everything you did and for making our day unforgettable!

23/12/2024: I reluctantly have to leave this review, it pains me to say but one of the worst places I've ever eaten. Going down the stairs you immediately notice a strong musty smell, it seems a bit of a joke to me to read that he participated in 4 restaurants because oh my goodness. Given how strong the humidity is, the lower part of the walls is completely mouldy, the food absolutely needs to be reviewed, but if these are already the premises of the place, the food takes second place. Completely cold light which makes everything even more aseptic, moreover I also made a fool of myself with my friends by having proposed this place, I was ashamed. Staff almost creepy and suffocating while eating, every minute popping up from behind looking for unsolicited comments. I have to tell you this, my partner was stretching and the waiter, I think he had a bone disease, started telling her that he wasn't respectful towards her since he couldn't have done it. I spent dinner thinking about leaving at any moment, in short, a horror dinner 😱 in the true sense of the word. High bill as if that wasn't enough
