Sunday lunch with a couple of friends and their young children. PROS: The cuisine was essentially authentic, offering local dishes; the restaurant prices were generally fair; the pizzeria, although I didn't try anything, was a bit above average (so if I were to order it, I'd have high expectations); the waiter (or owner, I'm not sure) was kind, smiling, and willing to let us stay seated even longer, as we had small children who needed a snack. CONS: We sincerely complimented the staff on our meal, but when we saw the bill, we were truly shocked: a whopping €60 for a mixed grill platter, the same size as the pizza platter, to be shared between four (€15 per person); the items on the bill were rounded up by as much as €0.50/€1. Given the courtesy of the waiter, we preferred not to comment or point it out, but it was completely inappropriate.

Excellent value. The pork with vinegared peppers is sublime, and even a simple salad has authentic flavors. Excellent local wine, and the selection of desserts is the icing on the cake for a simple yet delicious dinner, all topped off by the owner's friendliness. Highly recommended.

For me the pizza is excellent, good tasting.
