06/01/2025: We arrived at this very renowned pastry shop to taste sospiri, the famous "nun's tits", a true delicacy!! Very soft with shantilly cream, or filled with pistachio or coffee cream etc... nice place, a nice display of sweet pastries and chocolates, good service.

06/01/2025: The restaurant is in a panoramic and characteristic position, I recommend it whether you are in the area or, like me, after a visit to the Rocca Imperiale castle. This restaurant is absolutely worth a visit for 3 reasons: the infinite kindness of all the staff, excellent food and good wine.

11/01/2025: I went to this lovely restaurant-bistro with a friend of mine. We were welcomed with kindness and care even though we had not booked. I really believe that attention to detail and people is their strong point. The menu offers traditional French dishes but prepared with excellent Lucanian products. We tasted a wonderful fondue accompanied by taralli, focaccia and local bread, then we moved on to the delicious crepes and accompanied with a good glass of wine. Finally, the dessert we ordered was a real treat for the palate. Everything was delicious, a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Prices are in line with the quality and service offered. We will return, with pleasure!

23/02/2025: We found ourselves by chance, wandering around the alleys of Matera, 3 couples of friends, food of excellent quality and quantity, we shared appetizers, had a super abundant first course that left no room for anything else, very attentive staff, I highly recommend it!

27/02/2025: We found ourselves here by chance on a quiet Sunday in February. Where, those like me in the sector, know that times are a bit dead and people are scarce. Instead, there was a good crowd of people and they held up well even though they were probably unprepared for the amount of people who arrived, so really normal waiting times. The food is very good, the waiter is helpful and gives good advice. We took a fixed menu divided by two, two second courses and an extra dessert and it was all really excellent quality. The house wine is really appreciable, a different Aglianico from the usual sweeter one, recommended. The only slightly negative aspect is the environment, although very beautiful and characteristic the place is a little dark, but in any case it is a negligible detail. If I were to return to Pietrapertosa I would definitely stay there again.

09/02/2025: Recommended restaurant for those who want to escape from the daily routine... Immersed in an oak forest, a few km from Pomarico and Matera, in the Manferrara forest.. Excellent value for money, from raw seafood to the traditional Lucanian pezzente sausage ragù, to try with pizza, wood-fired.. Recommended place for children.

09/12/2024: Lovely place, excellent food in terms of quality and price, trained and kind staff, impeccable service, we were there on the day of the Immaculate Conception and everything was excellent, generous portions, especially dishes that are not obvious but prepared with skill with seasonal products, I highly recommend it

12/03/2025: Great stay and excellent value for your money. Staff is super attentive, rooms are well equipped, well maintained and very clean. Hotel offers comfortable parking options for your car. Breakfast are rich, love the fresh croissants every morning 😍 Huge benefit is restaurant in ground floor, with a family-like approach with an awesome local cuisine. 👌 Only downside found is the unstable wifi connection in the room. Otherwise very pleasant stay, highly recommended! 🤩

10/02/2025: Siamo entrati in questo locale e ci siamo accorti sin da subito che l’unica cosa che mancava era il mare cristallino della Grecia . L’atmosfera , i sapori , i profumi la ricordano completamente . Proprietari deliziosi che mettono tanto amore e passione per il lavoro che fanno e i risultati seguono . Piatti eccellenti ed abbondanti . Abbiamo preso una carrellata di antipasti ( la moussakà deliziosa ) e bevuto buon vino , il tutto accompagnato da musica tradizionale . Prezzi onesti . Bravi !
