Cozy restaurant in natural stone, professional staff with a very warm welcome explained all the dishes on the menu to us. Food of exceptional quality, local cured meats and meats produced by them, cooked with expert skill and to finish, typical Lucanian dessert with homemade liqueurs. Highly recommended

We went on Easter Sunday, and it was a delicious lunch. Starters and first courses are delicious, but the second courses made with home-produced meat are superb. The service is excellent, Stefano the owner is very kind and super helpful. Compliments!!

In visita a Pietrapertosa siamo andati a pranzo in questo ristorante a conduzione familiare, accoglienza calorosa, gentilezza del titolare ,ottimi piatti davvero.Per chi capita a Pietrapertosa consiglio questo ristorante con portate abbondanti e soprattutto con la qualità del km 0.….prezzo onestissimo...bravissimi

Competent country cooking. Nice big space w/ two dinner rooms. There were roughly 12 people there with room for another 24. There seemed to be a mom & pop running the place, with an additional helper in the front. Not sure about additional kitchen staff. Service got much slower after tables 4 and 5 showed up. Can’t imagine if the place was full. They’d definitely need more help. Service was friendly, with some English and German spoken. Homemade pasta, home made dessert and homemade wine (as well as others). Orchiette was not the “hat” or “bell” shape we were familiar with, more like an oval. That and the Ravioli were both very thick – not a thin pasta, it had bite. For secundi’s we had the steak and the sausage, along with a mixed salad. Everything was good, in a basic, stomach filling sense. Not a lot of options in this town, some think this is the best one. Not a lot open in the off season. Menu is fairly small, as is the wine bottle list.
