This place is home to me. Stefano and his family are exceptional people, extremely knowledgeable about traditions and their cuisine. They care deeply about their roots, which are expressed in their dishes. Traditional dishes made with love. Simple people, and above all, honest people who have dedicated their entire lives to work and sacrifice. People from another era who are very rare these days. Keep it up!

An absolute must in Pietrapertosa: tradition, heart, and authentic flavors
If you're passing through Pietrapertosa and looking for authentic Lucanian cuisine, this place is a must. The atmosphere is intimate, rustic, and welcoming, the kind that makes you feel immediately at home, thanks also to the owners' hospitality. Stefano welcomed us with rare warmth and expertise, sharing the history of the dishes and showcasing the local area like few others.
The menu isn't huge, which always means freshness and top-quality. We tried both the famous homemade strascinati (with Senatore Cappelli flour, breadcrumbs, and crusco peppers—out of this world!) and an incredibly tender and fragrant pork rib. Also noteworthy are the local cured meats and cheese appetizers and the excellent red wine they produce. The flavors are authentic, showcasing each ingredient without unnecessary frills.
We had such a great time that we immediately wanted to return. Highly recommended, let the owner guide you and you won't regret it!

The welcome was amazing; the owner is truly knowledgeable about everything, from food to wine.
I recommend their menu, which includes an appetizer with cured meats and cheeses, two first courses, and a dessert.
