06/07/2024: Wow. If you want Florence steakhouse, this is it. It was our first night in town and we did not regret going here. We got the Tuscan Menu and they started us off with a platter of amazing assorted meats. Then they brought out a Florentine steak and it was quite possibly the best steak I’ve ever eaten. The service was absolutely top notch and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Florence.

06/07/2024: Vinimos a comer. ....buenísimo todo. Excelente calidad de la carne. El lugar muy bonito tranquilo y limpio. Lo mejor ....el personal ( Oliver , Philoppo y Alberto )Atentos en todo momento, amables, todo lo que diga es poco. Calidad/precio buena. Lo último la tarta que queso con reducción de chianti ...mmmmmmm!!

16/07/2024: Lovely food, lovely wine, beautiful location & great service! I'd definitely recommend a meal here, especially with the duomo directly outside! One of the highlights of our trip.

09/07/2024: Absolutely amazing restaurant to try out the food at. You can tell it’s fresh, and with the spectacular view of the Duomo right by where you’re eating, it’s certainly a place to visit.

20/12/2024: Il locale si distingue per la qualità del cibo e del servizio. Gli hamburger sono gustosi, preparati con ingredienti freschi e ben bilanciati nei sapori. Il personale è cortese e attento, rendendo l’esperienza piacevole dall’inizio alla fine. Inoltre, i tempi di consegna sono eccellenti, un punto a favore per chi cerca rapidità senza rinunciare alla qualità. Va sottolineato che il menu offre già una grande varietà di opzioni, capace di soddisfare gusti diversi e di proporre alternative innovative. Nel complesso, un’esperienza altamente consigliata!

13/10/2024: Three-star hotel restaurant. We only stayed one night, because we were passing through. Clean, very comfortable room, with small balcony, safe, hairdryer and fridge. Parking space on the street, in front, reserved and free. It is located in a hamlet of Greve, called Chiocchio. The owner, Mr. Francesco is a wonderful, passionate and competent host, a professional sommelier, full of precious advice on wine and otherwise. We will definitely be back to try the restaurant. An affectionate greeting and thanks again for the very welcome suggestions which made our stay, although short, even more interesting and intense.

25/11/2024: Food, service and atmosphere, everything was perfect in this great restaurant. Far from the tourist traps of the center.

24/11/2024: The food was very tasty and the service was great at the beginning. Then the restaurant filled up and the service was a bit overwhelmed due to all the work. It is also a bit cool in the restaurant at times because the front door was often opened to serve outside (tent).

01/12/2024: Super welcoming and warm place. All the dishes were delicious and Fiorentina was super!!! Mrs Cinzia, as well as the owner, welcomed us as if we were at home. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this place!

28/11/2024: We ended up there because the other place nearby was closed, certainly the first and last time. The place was dark and half the lights were off. The peppery wild boar I ordered was dry and had nothing appetizing about it. As I was saying, having another place not far away closed as it was a weekend it must have been crowded but instead there were only about ten people in total. AS REGARDS THE OFFENSE, HE WILL TAKE HIS RESPONSIBILITY. I don't stoop to his provocations. I wrote down what I thought and if asked at checkout I would have said so right away. I wrote the review at 7.15pm, he replied to me at 8.30pm, this means that he is not very busy and confirms what I wrote.

04/12/2024: Friendly staff, impeccable cooking, decent price for the place/area🌏. The taste of the pasta was special and the pork steak with sauce quickly entered the stomach 😁! The owner talked with us at the table, we felt good🙏! I recommend with confidence 💯💖!

01/12/2024: Everything is very good, the service is perfect, the environment is very nice and the food, since I haven't been to a butcher shop outside the super markets I have never tasted such good meat and the first one the sauce was very good.

29/11/2024: Osteria on the main street of Montelupo Fiorentino. For me it was the first time and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The place is very beautiful, historically it was part of the post station, the brick barrel vaults are very beautiful, typical Tuscan food, really good. We had tortelli with ricotta and spinach with Florentine ragù, tagliatelle with wild boar, 1.5kg rib steak accompanied by zolfini beans and sautéed herbs, cream tiramisu. I can recommend everything, but the tortelli must absolutely be tried. To drink the house wine, water, coffee and coffee killer. Price around €70 each. Advised!!!

10/12/2024: I want to eat truffle pasta on my last night in Florence. I looked for it and came across this place!! The only dish made with truffle sauce was ravioli, so I asked and they cooked truffle pasta for me😍 It was a little bland and the truffle scent was subtle, but it was delicious!!!

28/08/2024: I can’t remember the last time I was sad that a meal had finished, the food was that good! The restaurant has a wonderful setting covered in vintage tourism posters from all over the world, and as you walk down the stairs you walk past the open kitchen where you can see the chefs at work. The atmosphere is calm and even with a full restaurant it wasn’t loud. The service was impeccable, with the waiting staff on hand to help with menu recommendations and the appropriate wine to complement your dish choices. We went for three pasta dishes, the spinach gnocchi with sage and butter, the cannelloni ‘buca lapi’, and the fettuccine with veal ragu. They were all spectacular with the veal fettuccine the stand out dish for me. The menu offers a variety of Tuscan and Florentine dishes so what ever you choose you’re in for a great experience! Highly recommend!

22/08/2024: Siamo stati con tutta la famiglia a cena in questo ristorante suggeritoci dalla guida. E non potevamo trovare di meglio! I Primi sono ottimi, ma la carne davvero eccezionale. Unica pecca poca scelta per gli antipasti. Anche se quei pochi disponibili sono di buona qualità. Ci hanno suggerito un ottimo vino, servizio perfetto e cameriere gentile e simpatico! Ci tornerò sicuramente!

27/08/2024: Overall the food wasn't bad, but unfortunately the prices were ridiculously high for the raw materials used which, although of high quality, still remained extremely low cost ingredients (a puff pastry with cheese inside was €14), the service however waiter was friendly and was extremely slow with the first dish arriving an hour and fifteen minutes after our order. I wouldn't go back.

12/08/2024: Bad experience. I don't usually leave reviews, but this time I really have to. Unfortunately the food is really bad, the service perhaps even worse. They served us the pulled pork heated in the microwave but the worst thing was that it smelled more than bad and tasted even worse. We ate on benches at obscene wooden tables. We spent 30 euros each and they had the courage to charge us a cover charge for plastic plates, paper tablecloths, sitting on benches and at tables usually used at village festivals or in low-class canteens. I'm sure I've never eaten so bad in my entire life. Absolutely avoid.
