01/03/2026: Great food and the service was fantastic. The entire city is of course very tourist oriented, but this place felt a little more low key and the main manager/waiter was super helpful and cool. We spent a reasonable amount of money and had a great time.

28/02/2026: Had the pleasure to have dinner here on our quick, one night visit to Florence. Great atmosphere, great food and great service from Martin who had great recommendations and knowledge for our random questions about steaks. The standouts was of course the Florentine steak, the house wine and tiramisu. We wanted to get just one to share but it was too good and ended up getting another one. Would absolutely recommend!

11/03/2026: I had a delicious meal here. Excellent house wine, exceptional home made pasta. Lovely authentic homey Italian atmosphere. Quiet and intimate feel. Warm and helpful staff. I’m so glad I stumbled in. And the best tiramisu I’ve had in my life! 10/10

13/03/2026: The reason im not giving a 5 stars because something happened not only with us but with others on an another table, we asked for 1.2kg of bistecca the waiter came back with a piece of 1.6kg, and even though i told him its 400g more than what i asked almost 50€… he sais its fine its only 400g we cant cut it precise. Now i know that it can be 100g more or less when cutting such a piece but 400 g thats a big margin… but otherwise the food was good and service was good too👍🏻

24/01/2026: Very good grilled meat, top-notch Argentinean red wine, I'd say. It's a small, charming place in the heart of Florence. The service is excellent, very friendly and helpful. There's a party atmosphere and music, and after dinner you can even have a drink, just like in a pub. It's lovely, I'll be back.

The prices are ridiculously high for what they offer, but the worst part is the bathroom decor: it's indecent, retrograde, and deeply sexist. 11/01/2026: The experience at the old Cecchini butcher's shop was truly a treat. It began with an aperitif with house wine and lard crostini served in the alley outside. Dario's cheerful welcome was both entertaining and charming, a man who does this job for passion, not for money, especially considering his international fame. This sentiment was confirmed by a waitress who told us that, despite not being so young, she personally carves the meat every day. The place is practically a multi-story building with tons of tables. The idea of ​​organizing convivial tables is truly delightful, especially if you're lucky enough to find the right people. Another smart choice is to work with set menus, so as to better manage the service and eliminate food waste from compulsive ordering at the counter. Furthermore, you have a clear understanding of your bill, which, in my opinion, for a highly renowned place, is extremely affordable and proportionate to the quantity (you leave full but not rolling) and quality of the food. Returning to the topic of food waste, the policy is to avoid leftovers, so the waiters, extremely kind and professional, encourage you to take your food home, providing disposable trays and branded shopping bags! As for the meat, it was excellent, cooked according to traditional recipes. I personally found their francesinha and the bone broth, which they serve in a cup, to be delicious! Ultimately, their reputation is absolutely deserved. I recommend stopping by Panzano and trying this experience. Those who want can also buy a souvenir from the butcher's shop.

07/01/2026: The owners' friendliness and the authentically Tuscan dishes easily make up for the cramped dining room. Five of us arrived without a reservation, and were greeted warmly and cordially. We enjoyed the Florentine steak and the pici, the various vegetables, and the cantucci (lots of them) with Vin Santo. Everything was excellent. Good value. We'll definitely be back. Well done!

08/02/2026: Last year in early December me and my fiancé were in a trip around Florence, Venice, Rome and Pisa. Il Nutino was the best food we tried in Italy; we had the chance to try the Pappardelle Al Ragù with Wild Boar and the Ricotta cheese and spinach stuffed ravioli with truffle sauce. The waiter Raul had a great attitude and was more than happy to explain everything we didn't understand from the menu. Thank you Raul! Thank you Il Nutino!

The Irish rib eye steak is excellent, tender and flavorful, and the pizza is also exceptional, with a dough worthy of a Neapolitan pizza like few others in Florence. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere is spacious, clean, and welcoming. I'll definitely be back ❤️
