11/09/2025: What can I say? The best. You get the right price, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing. If you're passing through Saturnia, you can't miss Mario's! After dinner, I recommend the apple pie with ice cream. It's delicious.

27/08/2025: It's a fantastic dive—I say dive, but not in a derogatory way. It's a super simple place, with two beers, both lager, and an appetizer: cured meats and cheeses, both very good. A main course: handmade arrosticini, meat, and liver. If you ask, they can have other meats to roast. Forget the desserts, they're not worth it; otherwise, everything else is superb. It has the air of an authentic, rural "Ritrovo." The owner and staff are very kind.

16/09/2025: Went there for lunch with my friend. We sat on the terrace. I had the veggie burger, she had something more or less on order which was not a problem for the very friendly owners. And we ordered fries to share. Food was of great quality and taste. Our dog got a fresh bowl of water, which was very nice. I also was a bit surprised about the service fee, since it was not mentioned anywhere on the menu. Therefore only four stars. Of course my italian is lacking so I might have missed it. Nevertheless it is an outdated concept and should be abolished by law.

10/09/2025: What an awful experience! 1st the shamefull coperto that wasn't specified on the menu outside cause if we would have seen it, we wouldn't have stayed. And this stupid habit first meant that you had a cover over your table and some bread and grissini, now you get 0, 2 lame pieces of paper and a fork and knife! Shame on you! On the bill it is written "service" but It is not our responsibility to pay for the service of your staff, ok? 2nd, we waited half an hour for the meal to be ready and there wasn't anyone in the restaurant 😡 Then the "famous" burger which was nothing special honestly, some tasteless piece of minced meat 🤢which doesn't even come with fries, NO, the fries must be ordered EXTRA! I have never seen this and I travelled all over the world! Shame again! 7.5€ a "double" portion of fries! Double by their standards. I will stop here. Just avoid, a rip off and the place is hidden in an empty and ugly plaza.

28/08/2025: A small, cozy, and intimate place for those who want a bit of peace and quiet while dining. Excellent ingredients, it may seem trivial, but the bread was already spectacular. We tried the meatballs, which are exclusively for carnivores, and I must say, the meatballs were excellent, they melted in your mouth. The fondue was very delicate yet bold, accompanied by a bed of delicious, spiced baked potatoes. Needless to say, the meat was 1kg, with no leftovers. Spectacular, tender meat, and it also melted in your mouth. Lastly, we had a white chocolate cake that left us speechless, delicious... homemade, not frozen. In conclusion, top-notch food, excellent service, prices perhaps €2-3 above the average pizzeria, so good value for money (you pay very little for what you get).

15/06/2025: I chose this place based on my instinct and I did well. Hospitable staff that welcomes you immediately with a mouth-watering display of the counter. Excellent quality raw materials, from appetizers to various cuts of meat. Too bad it's so far from Rome.

06/10/2025: A butcher's shop and restaurant with table service, perfect for a casual meat dinner with friends. The burger was excellent, although it was too rare to be considered medium. Service is a bit slow on peak days, but the cover charge is appropriately low given the restaurant's format. Reservations are recommended on Saturday evenings, although those who haven't booked may get through first. Dinner on Saturday evenings is served in two sittings.
