The tongs and focaccias are really good, with high quality dough, leavening and garnishes. Location in soft New Orleans style perfect for a pleasant evening with friends.

25/03/2025: I really like this place, for the food, the hospitality and the environment. It has a beautiful garden and is located in Azzano in an environmental context under Monte Altissimo (Michelangelo's quarries) and near the Malbacco pools.

22/02/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo oggi in 3. Abbiamo preso 2 antipasti, panzerotti prosciutto e crescenza buoni, crostini e polpette mediocri. 2 Tagliatelle al cinghiale buone, 1 tordello al ragù pessimo. I tordelli Non li abbiamo mangiati perché la pasta era forse non cotta bene e risultava troppo gommosa. 1 Dolce cialda alla crema e frutti di bosco buona. Il piatto dei tordelli non consumato è stato notato dal titolare che ne ha chiesto il motivo. Abbiamo spiegato che la pasta non era buona e risultava gommosa e farinosa. Dopo aver portato via i piatti il titolare è tornato dicendo che aveva assaggiato i tordelli e che era dispiaciuto perché avevamo ragione e non si spiegava come fosse successo. Dopo abbiamo pagato il conto e il piatto dei tordelli non è stato tolto, nonostante non fosse stato consumato e fosse stato ammesso l’errore nella sua realizzazione. Peccato perché nonostante non fosse stato tutto buono, saremmo tornati nel periodo dei funghi ad assaggiarli.

04/02/2025: Carne buonissima, selezione di prosciutti veramente buona e un menù molto ampio che spazia dai crudi fino ad arrivare ai burger. Prezzo giusto per quanto offerto. Consigliatissimo.

13/04/2025: Un pranzo di 60 euro a testa… Per carità, tutto buono, ma niente di così eccezionale da prendere 60 euro a persona! Prezzi ESAGERATI. State alla larga dal fuori menù, trappola per gli ospiti.

09/04/2025: Excellent food. We had some patanegra and a focaccia with turnips and buffalo mozzarella as an appetizer. Followed by ravioli with porcini mushrooms and sausage and patanegra and a beef fillet. Service not very attentive though. I recommend noting if there are any intolerances at the table: a bread with lactose was brought along with the patanegra and if I hadn't asked insistently I could have had problems. Nice place, warm and welcoming. Waiters too busy and agitated and not very attentive (you should approach the tables a few more times). It's a shame about the bathrooms, which are cold and unwelcoming and clash with the rest of the place. €95 for two with a bottle of water and a glass of wine. Worth a visit, the menu is particular, I saw other dishes at other very inviting tables!

07/01/2025: Finalmente un locale dove prendere qualche antipasto, una birra ed un panino con amici senza doverci mollare un capitale, specialmente per la birra! Locale carino ed accogliente con personale rapido e gentile. Il cibo molto buono, classico e niente di sofisticato ma molto efficace, come usava una decina di anni fa. Lo consiglio assolutamente per chi non ha pretese stellate ma vuole un luogo confortevole dove passare del piacevole tempo in compagnia, mangiando bene.

19/03/2025: In short, nothing extraordinary, the problem is that there are no prices displayed, there are only prices for sandwiches and dishes but if you ask for example for 20 cevapcici to take away they don't tell you how much they cost because they have to weigh them for you after they are cooked, so it's not good, you don't know how much you're paying.

18/03/2025: My girlfriend and I have been to this restaurant and we have almost always had a good time. The food is good but the service is inconsistent as they often make you wait. The last experience was, however, the worst of all as the cook started to shout and swear ruining the whole atmosphere and making us feel uncomfortable. A tip Sunday lunch is a perfect opportunity to go but watch out for the time, go around 2pm😉

18/03/2025: A very unpleasant experience. From the kitchen (we were sitting there) the cook shouted swear words continuously and continued to scream against various customer requests and I don't know what else; she went on screaming and yelling for a while, we changed tables. I asked if I could have a pasta only with mushrooms (instead of potatoes and mushrooms), humbly, please and ONLY if it was possible, THEY offered me tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and I could hear her shouting bad words about my tagliatelle, of course I promptly said that I was fine with something else, anything else. It felt like being at home when your parents argue, except that you also have to pay them😅

21/03/2025: Historic place, for me, in Milan. However, I hadn't been there for several years. The pizza is always excellent: thin, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside And the porrina is always the best

18/03/2025: Fresh salad. Very fast and friendly service. Cozy atmosphere. Very good value for money. Suggestion for improvement: Provide vinegar and oil in bottles and salt and pepper in jars to reduce packaging waste.

17/03/2025: First pizza of our trip to Italy, a great introduction to a journey of flavors. The pizzas are very good, the most complicated thing was choosing. And the homemade desserts were delicious. Will I go back? If the opportunity presents itself, yes.

04/04/2025: The big problem that I have revealed in many rooms were the hinges of the bathroom doors. In others the doors were difficult to close not to mention the dirt that was in the toilet, the shower leaks water and you risk slipping and breaking something. Having said that, next year we wanted to return for the simplicity and the location of the hotel to tour the villages but it seems to me that I will have to look for another hotel. The staff asked us in which municipality we live and did not even ask us for an ID. Highly not recommended

30/03/2025: The hotel is located a stone's throw from the square of Colle Val d'Elsa. The room was small, but equipped with the necessary. The bathroom is a bit small and decidedly old; the bed is comfortable. A big flaw concerns the soundproofing, absolutely non-existent. You can hear every little noise coming from the other rooms and the corridor. The doors should also be reviewed, because at night the light from the corridor entered from below and from the sides. The breakfast, on the other hand, is good and plentiful, croissants, cold cuts, bread, cereals, yogurt and fruit. Hot drinks are served directly by the staff. The lady at the reception was very kind and friendly, she recommended some restaurants in town and parking in Siena.
