22/10/2025: I've been here several times for business lunches, and the pizzas are spectacular! The first and second courses are generally good, but the portions are a bit small. It's a different story in the evening, when it transforms into a more upscale restaurant.

12/10/2025: We stopped for Sunday lunch; we found the location very nice and the staff extremely friendly. The service was fairly quick and accurate. Unfortunately, the outdoor seating area was a bit noisy due to some groups, which made the experience a little less pleasant. From a gastronomic standpoint, we had a good experience: excellent pizza, generous and high-quality appetizers, and delicious paccheri. The only complaint was that the pork cheek was cooked better, as it could have been moister and softer. Overall, positive.

03/11/2025: We were welcomed into this restaurant with kindness and courtesy. We ordered tagliolini with cocci (guinea fowl), which were truly superb, accompanied by excellent fried fish. They offered us an excellent seafood risotto and seafood fritters... Everything was excellent, and the price was very fair for the quantity and quality of the dishes... The table service was also excellent; we will definitely be back. Warm regards to the owner from the four motorcyclists from Bari, thanking him for everything.

25/10/2025: I went there several years ago, and even left a review that was promptly deleted... so I'm trying again. Honestly, I think it's the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Between the completely unjustified price tag and the dishes that to call mediocre is a compliment, I don't know what to save. Add to that the fact that some diners didn't even get truffles grated in front of them, yet their plates arrived already full. It was such a bad experience that I remember it all as if it were yesterday.

I called a few days ago to book a table for a birthday party, but unfortunately it wasn't possible because they introduced two new rules: if you're part of a large table and you book for 7:30 PM, you have to leave at 9:15 PM, and the menu includes a meal prep. Otherwise, you arrive at 9:30 PM and can easily stay as long as you like... Let's just say I don't mind eating at 9:30 PM. Question: What if I go to a pizzeria with older guests and they eat a little earlier? Do I have to rush to eat and leave by 9:15 PM? And if the restaurant has a kitchen problem and dinner goes on past the agreed-upon time, can we eat the cake at the bus stop? I must be stupid, but I don't understand this method.

17/10/2025: A hot dish like pasta and potatoes, let's call it that, served on a cold plate... I won't be going back. We paid a fortune for what we ate; the food was good at Barone when Father was there; I think only the name has stuck.

26/10/2025: Super! A friend recommended it to me, and I immediately decided to try it, being a meat lover. Choose what you want from the meat display or the menu. The meat on display is grilled, incredibly good, fabulous cuts, ribs, and homemade fennel sausage, incredibly delicious. An experience for meat lovers! The place is small but cozy, and the staff is friendly and smiles, explaining everything. Super, we'll be back! The desserts are also excellent; we tried the cheesecake, incredibly delicate! The price is absolutely right for the food we ordered: €95 for two, including a glass of wine, two desserts, and coffee, plus 500 grams of sliced ​​steak, 4 ribs, sausage, a grilled breaded slice, and 6 veal saltimbocca stuffed with provola cheese.

14/11/2025: A typical trattoria near the Fondazione Prada, I had lunch here by chance with some colleagues. What can I say? The atmosphere is typical of a trattoria, as is the excellent service. Everything on the menu is inviting, but then there's the star: the unexpected gorgonzola and leek pizza. Toward the end of the meal, we see it ubiquitous on every table; the host approaches us and tells us he'll make it on the fly if we want. How could I say no? I assure you, it's an experience you shouldn't miss. Congratulations!

Although we don't speak Italian, that wasn't a problem at all—the menu is available in several languages, and the staff takes the time to carefully explain everything. What truly stands out is the passion for the craft. This radiates not only from the team but also in every dish. The chef deserves a deep bow—each plate was a small work of art, bursting with flavor, warmth, and passion. We were simply enchanted by the dishes and the atmosphere. Taverna Calabiana isn't just a recommendation… it's an experience you'll remember.

10/11/2025: #Discrimination Against Asians# We were sitting outside, and the table next to us was empty. We asked to sit at the table inside, but the owner was very rude and said it was already reserved. So one person from our table was forced to sit in the aisle. Then, when the waiter brought the plates, he just threw them on the napkins and laughed, saying, "Anyway, you Asians won't use them, right?" I still remember that very rude, discriminatory laughter. By the time we finished our meal, the table next to us was empty.
